The owner and warden were very helpful.

The site only admits adults and it was quiet.

The pitch was of a generous size.

Not far from M5 motorway, ideal stop on way to Cornwall or Devon.

Arrived at just gone 6pm and was made very welcome by Ros and nothing was too much trouble.

The site was great and the EHU was metered and cost just £1.30 for the night as opposed to £5.00 as other sites charge.

We will go back again on our return from Cornwall.

Had a good two nights stay, really quiet place, with good dog walking fields nearby.

Paid £20 per night plus a £1 for our dog. Electricity was metered, and I nearly forgot to pay when we left, so used to just paying upfront.

In my opinion the campsite needs a bit of TLC to bring it up to standard, but that would reflect in the price you pay obviously.

All in all I would recommend Phippins Farm, and I will be going back there again.

Very basic site with additional charges, much better value elsewhere.

Extra for electric, extra for using the showers which are timed.

Large pitches and adults only

Liked: accessibility to various Somerset places. Wardens helpful.

Disliked: Paying extra for showers and electricity. Would prefer just one price like all the other places we've stayed

Too many do's and don't.

Have lived in Motorhome for 6 months used over 40 sites. This would not rate in the top 10.

This the second visit to this site this year, we enjoyed our first visit so much we returned again.

It's such a lovely site pitches very well managed grass around the site well kept.

The owner Tim and Ros the warden are very friendly and helpful.

We were enthralled with the wildlife on and around the site saw a pair of deer whilst we were packing up ready to depart.

We enjoyed many walks along the river.

Hoping to return again next year.

We arrived at this beautiful campsite and were delighted with the attention our host gave us.

We were welcomed and taken to our riverside pitch, what could be better.

Stunning location, quiet and perfect for us.

We will definitely go again.

 Good hardstanding pitches with grass.

Waste water at the pitch, as well as hook up (not fresh water at pitch).

Pleasant surroundings with walks either direction along the river.

Possible to walk across the fields to the Bason Bridge for a meal or drink.

Fishing is available.

Nice to cycle in the local area, especially the cider farm

This was my first time camping (ever!). I was a solo female with two dogs in a small camper (micro camper).

Tim & staff could not have been more helpful. Offered me to borrow a windbreak (I didn't have one). Checked on me.

I have nothing to compare this site to but was very friendly, super clean & quiet. I loved it.

Will be going back at some point :).

Only thing I would have liked to see is a small shop selling local produce. But, It's not a big campsite & don't know how viable that would be.
