Lovely site and very well run by the owner.
Quiet location and only a 5 minute drive to supermarket, with a great pub just down the road (The Pimpernel).
Will definitely use again.

What a fantastic site, perfect for total peace & quiet, relaxing.
Toilet & shower block spotless (20ps for the shower not a problem as owner Tim tells you about this on arrival).
Made to feel welcome, local pub 10 mins walk through field. Local places of interest easily reached from the campsite.
Definitely booking again soon Steve& Tracey.

Site very peaceful, spacious, tidy and clean. No problems with showers as some people seem to complain about-don't know why!
Basically very good value for money and an excellent discovery. Far enough away from the crowds but within easy access to Burnham, Berrow, Brean and Weston or just touring.
Spoke to owner- friendly, practical and sensible (quite rare these days).
I have rated site facilities as 10 because you can always get "better" at other sites but only if you pay a lot more-these facilities were adequate, clean, well maintained- excellent value!

Just been to Phippins on route to cornwall, stayed one night, cant really fault this site very clean and friendly staff; great for a one night stopover,
Small gripe is the pitches are made up of random stone, (stone with various sizes) and if you put your awning up you would be constantly walking on these stones,
Big gripe there is a walk along the river to the local village pub, and you have to walk through a cow field, we encountered a herd of cows and calves drinking at a purpose built water trough, right next to the exit gate to the village, we felt we where taking our lives in our hands, I carried my small dog through the herd, and we got through,
I hate to bring this issue up but feel that this right of way should be fenced off from the cows, they can be very dangerous, and have been known to attack people and dogs, or perhaps the farmer should put the drinking trough across the other side side of the field, after all I don't think he would like it on his conscience if the cows decided to attack,
don't think we will return.

Had a great easter weekend at this park. Very friendly wardens were very helpful. Very clean and we are going back end of may.
The dog walking field is really good. Not far from the pub a nice walk along the river and it is dog friendly.

Stayed here for 2 nights in February. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and then allowed to select our own pitch. We chose one at the side of the river.
A short walk into the nearest village however we couldn’t find the local shop - we asked at the garage to be told that it had closed down as the locals never used it!
There was a pub however they weren’t serving food in February. We walked back to the campsite and drove the Motorhome a few miles and ate at a very nice pub about 5 mins drive away.
The next day we drove to Weston Super Mare where you could park on the beach for £4. 00 all day.
The weather was unusually mild and we walked along the seafront without coats in February!
The campsite is clean and quiet. I didn’t personally use the showers as we have a shower in the Motorhome but hubby said they were fine - plenty of time for a shower with 40p!
All in all I can’t fault this site - it’s peaceful, clean and not too far from the seaside.
Highbridge caravan site is a few miles away - very useful if you need anything.

Stayed here for a weekend after picking up our motor home from a local dealer. Easy to find, easy access, massive pitch, all gravel pan flat. Wardens fantastic, nothing to much trouble. Site is near a river so lots of wildlife around, nice walk along the bank to a small village with a pub, took bikes with us and as the area in very flat very easy to get around. Definitely will return oh forgot to say adults only.

Fabulous site. It has fantastic views of the river and countryside. The only noise I heard was my hubby snoring . There is a range of wildlife from a variety of birds including kingfishers to a family of otters and a cheeky badger who sneaked into our awning - amazing.
The showers and toilets are always clean and tidy, there’s even simple instructions on using the showers and really £1 for a good shower is nothing compared to what you will pay at home.
All in all if you want a lovely clean quiet site this is it. All the staff are polite and helpful even when you've forgotten the code for the gate! Lol x
