Great site - the toilet block was rebuilt about 3 years ago, and still looked fresh.
Site is well priced, and you don't get charged any extra for awnings.
Only negative on this site is the access in. The instructions given by the site take you for 2 miles down a single track road with a 7'6' width restriction. Fortunately didn't meet anyone in opposite direction! On exiting the site I turned north, the road wasn't any wider, but was shorter and had grass verges - when we visit again I will approach from the north even though it's a slightly longer drive.

Love it, love it, love it!
This is a fantastic site in a very beautiful area, with plenty of nice walks/days out nearby. We did the Malham Cove / Gordale Scar walk, which is around half an hour's stunning drive away.
The site couldn't be better - level pitches and the site was well maintained and clean (they seemed to be constantly emptying the bins!) Large, clean shower / toilet block (free but £10 deposit for key), washing up and laundry rooms, kids play area and a games room. The kids loved the river at the bottom of the site - great for paddling so take swimwear!
We were made very welcome on arrival and were given a map showing where our pitch was. Shop stocks all the basics and the info room has loads of leaflets on places to visit.
This is a relatively large site and attracts families (like us) so probably not for those looking to escape it all but there's a policy of no noise after 10pm so it's not rowdy (although the neighbouring sheep wake up early!)
We will definitely be back again but this is a popular site so you definitely need to book, especially in school holidays.
Full marks!

7 of us in our party, 4 adults and 3 young children.
Have to say we enjoyed this site except for two minor issues.
Firstly, the toilet block/washing facilities are a good walk from the electric hook-up pitches, especially when you have little ones with you. They could really do with another toilet block, when the toilets are busy in a morning and evening they really are smelly, and not pleasant to have to wash and shave in. Better ventilation may be a start !
We were also spoken to about someone complaining about the noise the evening before, coming from the area we were pitched in. I explained we had three young children with us, but they didn't seem to interested. Not very friendly if you want to sit inside your tent and chat on an evening.
Be prepared to have a very early night if you are on an electric pitch near the caravans, as they all seem to go to bed at 10pm, and do not want to here anyone else, even if you are only talking !
Apart from that, the kids loved it and it is in a lovely setting. Clean, tidy and a very pleasant site.

I have been visiting this site for many years now. I started going to this site in a tent and always loved the site and now I have a touring van.
The site owners are very friendly and helpful, you have lots of room for your van, car and awning.
The toilets and showers are lovely and clean and free. There is a river at the bottom of the site which is great to play in.
Will be visiting again soon 10/10 site

This is one of the best campsites I have been too. It is Family Friendly, clean, good play area.
The Electrical hook up never seems to go off or trip out.
Pitches are flat
Toilet block is clean, large and warm
The stream is good to for walking along into settle, (lots of wild garlic this time of year - smells fab) We spend lots of family days just hanging out by the stream, having picnics and playing in the water.
Settle is a nice market town with bakers/ tea room, fish and chips for a quick tea and a small supermarket
I can’t wait to return later in the year 10/10

There were 5 in are party me,the wife and the kids 2,5,7. We were in the top part of the site which is mainly for family's with a little play area we could see from the caravan, the kids loved it made lots of friends.
Pitches are of a good size, 16a hookup plenty of water, waste water and toilet points, security barrier for getting in and out
The rest of the site was clean tidy, toilet and shower block was great very clean, free hot showers, there is a shop which sells most stuff you would need milk, bread, papers, gas,
All in all a good site would go again
The road in to site is about 2miles out of settle, it is a bit narrow in places.

We visited this site early June this year and all in all had a lovely time, however to be honest at first we were disappointed, we had asked to be close to our friends who had booked within two hours of us and when we arrived at site we found that we were all separated due to the staff allowing the previous people to stay on a few more days so they could not let us have the pitches we had booked (in my eyes this was not fair), we also asked to be near the toilets and kids play area if possible (this they said was no problem) again we were disappointed as we could not have been further away, we were not told on phone that all pitches near kids area are not electric.
However saying that the river at the bottom of campsite (which is just over a small wall, but nothing to do with the site) made up for it all. The kids loved it catching small fish, skimming pebbles and jumping in the waterfalls it was brilliant. The river was particularly slow that week so care would have to be taken if it was flowing fast.
The scenery was fantastic and would go back again but would have to try and be closer to play area this time.

First time campers and we couldn't have picked a better site to go to. Beautiful surroundings, just next to the river. Lovely pitch just near to park for our 2 little ones (4 and 8).
Shop had just what we needed (milk and to freeze ice-packs), all the staff we met we helpful and pleasant. Toilet / shower block was clean and tidy, park was well maintained (just one squeaky swing which another camper sorted!).
Visited nearby Settle for food shopping and to watch football, found everything we needed. We went to this site based on reviews from this website and will now be searching for our next trip but think we'll be back here soon.
I think the weather helped us as we had the hottest week-end of the year (very lucky for us). To sum-up our first time camping trip, loved it and can't wait to go again.

We had been recommended to this site by more than one friend and we were not disappointed.
The site staff were very friendly and efficient. The facilities very clean and a small shop on site selling bits and pieces. A decent playground and games room to keep the kids busy and if that wasn't enough, walk to the bottom of the site and you can walk into Settle along the river.
Simply put, great staff / facilities and beautiful views of the valley.

Wanted a reasonably central location to the Three Peaks and Malham to supervise a group doing their D of Edinburgh's Award in the area, and this fitted the bill very well. As previously mentioned, if you try to drive over the bridge you are likely to lose your wing mirrors, but otherwise finding the site is very easy. Facilities good, clean and plentiful although one of the water taps in our field wasn't working meaning we had to go all the way to the shower block to fill up, but that was not a problem.
I would (and probably will) use this site again. The only problem was the rather unthoughtful group of adults that decided to camp very close to us. They were noisier than the large bunch of teenagers on the other side of the field - until I 'asked' them to be quiet at 11:45pm!
