It is worth noting although this is a Caravan Club Site tents are permitted. The site may not be the most picturesque but it certainly is not ugly, with its regimental rows, each pitch being divided with a beach hedge. Unfortunately for the tenters they seam to have been place furthest form the toilet block. As usual with the Caravan Club the park is of their usual high standard. There is also plenty to do with the park being situated on the banks of the Ouse, and virtually in the city centre. There is a park next to the site with child play equipment and also a boating lake; the Millennium Bridge is just a sort stroll from the site and worth taking a look at its unusual design. The warden does not like people to arrive before noon, this is due to a short stretch of straight road 100, or so yards that can only take single file traffic. All the caravan pitchers are flat level and are hard standing; the tents are on grass to the rear of the park. Be warned this is in a flood plain and floods in very bad weather and an escape route is at the far end of the park. The tenters may be pleased to know that they are on the high ground.
