Very welcoming camp site. We had not been to this site before and they kindly sited our Tourer for us. We arrived on a Tuesday and spent the August bank holiday there.
Although the site got very busy over the bank holiday period the toilets and shower blocks were always spotless and when passing staff they were always pleasant. Didn't see a playground but as we didn't have kids with us wasn't really looking.
Took the dog and it was only a short walk to the sea front. Van comes every morning about 9 and parks at the gate so you can pick up essentials such as milk, newspapers etc. Lots of shops locally.
Lovely sea view and can't say we found the trains or road noise a problem. Will definitely be going back to this site.

Just got back from a weekend at this site and have mixed views. The site itself is very tidy and well kept, however the staff oversee your pitching and this leaves a feeling that they want to get as many 'vans on as possible. We were also pitched outside of the barrier leaving us with a feeling if insecurity.
The road noise was a bigger problem than anticipated, the hum of the A55 is constant with the railway track following close behind. This left no feeling of total relaxation, we would certainly not be happy sitting outside of the 'van listening to the sirens whizzing past.
The toilet blocks were clean but as an earlier reviewer states the lack of a shower curtain means everything ends up rather soggy and there is a lack of privacy cubicles for the morning wash.
The situation of the site means easy access to the A55 for visits all along the North Wales coastline and I would reiterate the site is kept very tidy and well maintained and the sea is viewable from a number of pitches.

Just spent 4 days on this site and cant wait to go back, there is minimal road noise(A55)and depending on where you are pitched there is noise from passing trains but this does not affect the pleasure of staying on site.
We were looked after from the moment we arrived, they pitched our van for us and levelled it up. Site is spotless, showers are very clean and there is plenty of hot water.
Views are stunning and sea front is less than a 5 minute walk away. There is a walkway to abergelle or rhoss on sea and again the views are very good. There is a local shop, chippy and petrol station on your doorstep or Tesco at Abergelle.
Only one thing to watch for on this site is wind! it can be very windy so storm straps or double pegging required, I would however point out that this is not a reason for not visiting this site.
Bron y wendon is a great site.

An excellent campsite, beautiful views and stunning location, absolutely the best I visited so far. Great layout of pitches and very family friendly. All the shower blocks and toilets were in excellent condition and all the washing up facilities are to a great standard, even though outside
Beach access is just around the corner, beautiful place and great service from owners. Just 9 miles from llandudno. We had a fantastic stay and will be visiting again. Very close to A55 so access to all places you want to visit is easy. We stayed for 4 days and loved every minute, all in all a excellent site and got everything you need to enjoy your stay

Well another enjoyable stay at this very clean site. We came last year in October for three nights but this was just not long enough to explore the excellent North Wales coast line so we came back for seven nights and again our daughter wanted to stay longer.
We had to call the attendants to the park after hours as our neighbours managed to trip out our electric on numerous occasions by using too may appliances at the same time but they were very obliging and arrived in no time at all, after this happened four or five times the attendant changed the RCD unit to increase the ampage to 16 amps and this solved the problem but we were in the side of the park that has not been upgraded to 16 amps. The showers (reading past reviews) I agree could do with a curtain but have to say they were very warm and powerful.
Angelsey is a must, what a relaxed lifestyle and beautiful surroundings too. A tram up the Great Orme for a return ticket for two adults and a child is around £15 but didn't realise you could drive up but beware the drive is very very steep.
The views are spectacular but make sure you are dressed for the occasion as even on a warm day you are over 1000 mts above sea level so can be quite breezy and cool to say the least but an enjoyable trip. Caernarfon is another beautiful place to visit its a town within walls, again so relaxed and the castle is worth a visit (very reasonable prices). Lots and lots of places to visit there endless.
If there were negatives to be had I would say where is the games and TV room that's advertised as per leaflet? and the site does not have a play area for children which would have come in handy for our 9 year old who cannot keep still! but overall another excellent stay and would definitely return in a couple of years time.

Just spent 4 days at this lovely clean site with my wife and 7 year old son. Yes road noise is a problem, but I knew that before I arrived.
I arrived late and they had a good late arrival pitch. In the morning they took my caravan to my pitch with their tractor so I didn't have to hook up again which was a nice touch. Bought the wi fi but didn't work too well but was fully refunded.
I used this site as a base to explore and visit llandudno and found all the facilities to be very clean. Showers hot and all the pitches well spaced.I had a nice even gravel pitch with sea views.
Will I be going back to this site? most definitely.Sat in my caravan eating breakfast looking out to sea was excellent each morning. One thing I would suggest is if you put up an awning make sure it's well pegged down as it can get very windy.

Our third visit to this site - in 7 years, so thought I would 'update' my thoughts from our first visit. Full marks to the staff - absolutely excellent customer service - greeted with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble.
We were nearer the railway line this time and still found the traffic noisy, but our own home is very peaceful so the noise is something we are not used to. This did not spoil our time there. The toilets are clean, only gripe being no shower curtain so 'everything' ends up wet. Lack of a dog walk, unfortunate, but there is the beach to walk to. Lovely views from the pitches, we have been here at Xmas and there's nothing to beat eating your Xmas dinner with a view of the sea! So yes give it a try, its easy to find, there is a van that calls with newspapers and the ice cream man was seen on some days

This site is absolutely fantastic and we have stayed in many sites throughout the uk so we are quite picky especially where coastal sites are concerned seeing as many seem to rely on location/views and don't put much effort into the facilities and level of service.
The staff were very friendly and the pitches are well-spaced. Although it was becoming rather busy it still felt peaceful and the close proximity to the beach was great for our rather energetic dog to let off some steam.
We used this site as a base for 2 days to visit Llandudno and the Great Orme (both of which are well worth a visit) and also for a quick visit to Betys y Coed but could definitely have stayed longer as there is so much to see and do.
The only food place we used was the local chippy (the Village Chippy I think) nearby - the chips were nice, the burger wasn't.
The nearby beach has a protective rock barrier (potential doggy leg-breaking trap), a ramp, pebble / sand beach and a grassy area following the coastal path. Although there is work going on it doesn't get in the way of the enjoyment of the beach so don't be put off by driving down into what appears to be a building site.
My only gripe (as with all campsites for me personally) is that there was no dog-toilet area on site although a short walk out of the site isn't too much of a hassle.
All in all, we have decided to return to North Wales for a week later in the year and will be using this site as a base.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely site. It is in a brilliant location. We had a pitch by the railway line and the noise did not bother us at all. We didn't find the road noise a problem either.
We will be returning to the site as soon as possible - our little girls loved exploring the site and it was very safe for them. A great base for exploring North Wales.

We visited this campsite this weekend and really enjoyed it, the site is really easy to find, straight off the A55. A lot of people have commented on how noisy the traffic is but we did not find this a problem at all,(although we do live near a main road so can easily tune out traffic noise). We were pitched closer to the railway line and did not hear the trains at all.
The wardens were very helpful, we requested a level pitch as we were arriving in the dark and our request was accommodated. The toilet block was clean and we had plenty of hot water. The only criticism we would have is that the water points for both filling up and emptying were not located in a very practical place (if your in a motorhome)and you end up blocking the path ways while you fill up or empty your tanks.
The site is ideally located for visiting the local attractions, Llandudno is only about 15 minutes away, we didn't visit the local pubs this time but would recommend the Weatsheaf Inn in Betws-Yn-Rhos which is a ten minute drive away.
We would definitely go back again, don't be put off by reviews about the noise, if you want to be on the safe side pack a pair of ear plugs but don't let these reviews put you off going to this site.
