Just got back from this site 12/05/2008.
Immaculate site very peaceful, spotlessly clean, I've never seen grass so green and well kept. We stayed Friday until Monday, we were due to come back on the Sunday but decided to have the extra night.
Were going back this coming Friday.
Lovely and peaceful.

Spent a very pleasant few days here in probably the only 2 dry weeks of 2007. Fantastic sea views and nice large pitch. Facilities spacious and clean. Handy for cycle track and we enjoyed a ride to Colwyn Bay. There are 2 pubs within walking distance and a petrol station selling a few basics. Also quite close to bus stop for buses to Llandudno. Would certainly return again.

Fantastic site. Facilities very clean, toilets spotless, showers small but well maintained with plenty of hot water. Maintenance of site first class bordering on obsessive. Staff willing to help with any problems and refreshing to be on a site that was litter free. Second time we have stayed at this site and this year we were nearer to bottom of site so no road noise from A55. Security is very good with remote entry and exit, but we did notice a couple of times that the barrier was left open during the day. The hard standings are spacious and the caravans on grass were well spaced out to enable privacy and room to entertain if desired. Will be one of our regular sites to visit.

We stayed here at then end of august . The site was fabulously clean .
We arrived late and had to spend the night in the late arrivals bay with no electric hook up as it wasn`t working.
We soon moved to a glorious pitch with superb sea views. I didnt notice the trains or the a55 as many had . But the sea air wiped me out !.
Great base for touring wales , although we didn`t really stay on site too much. The kids were bored as only ping pong and an ancient tv. No park , no club , no shop .
Glorious home made cakes available in reception though , yummy .
Pitches were flat and green and manicured to perfection. Toilet blocks sparkling , laundry a bit off putting as I would have preferred to do my own washing not have it done for me .
Bit of a trek for a supermarket and shops but otherwise a very enjoyable 4 nights .
The elsan point was not in the most hygeinic of places , but the water points and grey waste disposal were very well thought out for each part of the site
Will return next year for a night or two .See if they have added anything for the kids by then !

We booked to stay here for two nights. Very convenient stop-over, easy to find, lovely sea views and very well maintained site. The Valentine Inn was the 2nd nearest pub, well worth a visit. Very regular buses to Llandudno etc. However, the big downside to this otherwise very nice campsite, was the relentless and unbearable traffic noise droning from the extremely close A55. This was instantly noticeable in the day, but imagined it would cease (or at least be less annoying at night). We were wrong. The trains to the other side were nothing in comparison. After one sleepless night we decided we would actually prefer to move on (and get a decent night's sleep anywhere else), but were refused a refund. An expensive £40 stay for one very noisy night of no sleep.

We visited this site the end of June, toilets and showers are spotless, site quite busy with lots of caravans but we still had loads of space. Nothing on the site to do apart from a small games room for kids, there is a pub, a chippy and newsagents very close though, we would deffinately come back to this site. This site also backs on to a railway line but is fenced off so children would be safe.

A really beautifully kept site. The grounds are immaculate and the toilet and shower blocks are as good as any I've seen. However, the noise from the adjacent A55 is incessant and unrelenting. We could not get used to it at all and it did spoil for us what would have been a very nice stay. I am sure that it could be reduced with some strategic placing of tall hedgerows along the perimeter.
Another bad point, considering that the site is quite expensive, there are no children's facilities. There really ought to be a playground of some sort. We did not have any of our grandchildren with us but if we had they would have been bored to tears. And beware. We had to cut short our stay by a few days due to illness. No refunds for the unused days.

What a lovely site, peaceful and clean with glorious views over the bay. A 10 minute walk to the village. Try the Valentine Inn real ale. When we where there, there was a beer festival what could be better. Regular bus service to Llandudno and Colwyn Bay and cycle route just 2 minute's away, no traffic very safe will certainly be going again.

A really lovely site - spotlessly clean throughout, super pitches not overlooked by others. Overall, can't fault the site. I was a little surprised to find how close to the A55 and railway the site was, but soon acclimatised to the noise from the road, and trains soon wizz by. Even with the road and trains this remains a tranquil and relaxing site. Locally there are a couple of pubs, the nearest does nice food, the other, a cosy country pub currently not serving food. Also a chip shop and general store, regular buses into local towns. The walk from the site entrance to the village is across the A55 slip way - if you're with children - keep a tight hold on them - it's dangerous!

Stayed at this site for 1 night what a lovely site. Only fault pitch was on stones awning laid on stones so kids sleeping in awning very hard floor. Owners said it was too early to put awnings on grass. Otherwise great site have booked another week in May
