Visited thorpehall caravan & camping site last week for seven days and really cannot praise the site enough. Myself, my partner and our two kids kassie and chip (they are dogs)had a lovely time even though the weather wasn't up to much. The site is situated just outside Rudston 4 miles from Bridlington. The caravan site is placed within an old walled kitchen garden and is pretty sheltered. Jayne the site manager was very helpful. Facilities were good (warm shower block)and the people visiting the site seemed friendly (not your caravan club type). Basically with our old caravan we did not feel out of place as we have on some sites. Please note that if you have the other type of children (Not dogs) there is a field adjacent to the site for them to play their ball games,fly kites etc. There is also a television/games room (pool table,table tennis and table footbal machine to keep them occupied. To sum up if you like small a quiet camp site give thorpehall a try.
P.S. The Pitches were a little close but not that bad (been to a lot worse)

stayed 2 nights at this site,at easter, camping on arrival was cheerfully surprised with the neatness of the site, a small reception/shop with enough supplies to keep you going and not overpriced, washing facilities were very good not only clean but warm all night, also we have a 4 yr old daughter who was able to have a pleasant bath, if you want a peaceful and pleasant site this should be tried.
