Once again returned to this lovely site. We spent the closing week here which included Halloween. All we can say is it was lovely. Site was closing for the winter but as always the management was outstanding. Toilets and showers clean always with hot water and shower gel. We have made friends with ppl at this site over the 4 years we have been visiting and we love it. Its quite and peaceful. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.

Site easy to find with good access. We were greeted by very friendly wardens and chose our grass pitch within the walled garden. All very neat and tidy. The facilities were very clean with plenty of loos and showers with hot water. Excellent dog walk through nearby fields.

Ideally situated just outside Bridlington, only downside was some road noise during the day, mostly agricultural vehicles but it quietened down in the evening so no problem.

Popular site with seemingly lots of regulars and we would book again next time we are in the area.

We stayed here for a weekend in August and couldn't fault the site (the weather however was rubbish!).

Beautifully kept site, lovely little shop/reception, great showers, nice big playing field, lovely local walks, good sized pitch and very helpful wardens. Great place for a relaxing break and well worth the price.

Found this site on the off chance, an amazing little site and our favourite by far. Lovely kind man gave us lots of help. Toilets spotless with little extras. Showers very clean too. Shop very well stocked with everything you may need. Hook up points within easy reach. Water points at every turn. Bins well appointed and kept clean. Dog walk brill. Nearby pub very reasonable prices and food outstanding. All in all a perfect place, for us anyway.

We have spent our 4 th year here and this year we did 18 nights. We love this site and its always clean and welcoming. Jayne and Geoff go out of their way to accommodate and our children love them.

Showers always hot and free with shower gel provided.

Games room keeps children busy.

Playing field is great for football and rounders.

Shop is well stocked and kids never out !.

Easy drive for filey bridlington and we went to Pickering steam fare this year.

Lovely walks and local pub is only 10 min walk from site.

We hope this site remains quiet and quaint and is one of our favourites.

Hoping to return soon.

Great site. Lovely, well spaced pitches. We had EHU. Warden very friendly and gave us a walks leaflet and told us where the village playground was. Pub within walking distance, but we didn't eat there.

Facilities clean, useful shop - able to order a paper. 10 min drive into Bridlington.

Huge playing field, nice not to have balls being kicked around your tent.

The most expensive site we have ever stayed on, but we didn't regret the extra cost and will return.

We have Just returned from a 3 night trip at thorpe hall Very clean site with excellent toilet and shower

Facilities, great location for visiting bridlington we used the park and ride £3. 50 park all day with 7 people allowed to travel on the bus, a quite site with a small play area and games room that needs a bit of updating

I have just been to Thorpe hall near rudston Bridlington. A brilliant site let down by a few things. The tv reception was none existent even though you plugged into there own system needs radical upgrading. The washing machine was broken from when we got there and had still not been repaired when we left after 10 days, it was in a filthy condition my wife was told it just wanted a new belt on the motor but it needed a full clean and overhaul. When I went to pay the shop was full of people the manager was on the phone taking bookings and there was no one else to serve or take money. Apart from poor management this site is a beautiful location and if things were put right I would go again. Lastly if they had a grass mower that collected the cuttings they would not go every where in your awning and caravan

 Really nice site.

Very friendly staff, we lost our daughter's dummy and the owner went out to the local shop to get us one!

Good facilities, shower gel provided in the showers, alcohol hand cleanser in the toilet emptying area, plenty of water, TV points etc

One (very) small criticism that I would have would be that the children's play area is very small and not really suitable for smaller kids. However the playing field is huge!

We'll definitely return.

Could not get in on our usual site due to the 4 night bank holiday rule. As we could only go for 3 nights it was proving a problem until I rang Thorpe Hall and what a find, a real gem of a site in beautiful country side and spotlessly clean. Pitches were well laid out with plenty of room and situated within a walled enclosure. Excellent location for visiting Bridlington and Filey. We took our 3 year old grandson with us and found the site to be very safe with the benefit of a family bathroom complete with bath which was fantastic as he is frightened of showers so this was a real bonus to us. Definitely Caravan Club standard if not better. The shop on site was very well equipped and reasonably priced. We also had our dog with us and the dog walk was great. The site manager was very friendly and the site is a credit to her and her staff. We will definitely be visiting again in the not too distant future. If I could offer any constructive criticism it would be that the playground could be better. No swings just a climbing frame which was too big for my grandson to use. A swing set with seesaw would be ideal.
