What a gorgeous site. Checked in and was asked do we want to be near loos or somewhere quiet. Opted for quiet and got a nice pitch in the trees. A bit slopey but had levellers.
Wonderfully quiet even though there was a lot of vans etc. Shop well stocked, loos clean and showers lovely and hot, also free. Hairdryer 20p.
If you go we recommend the Coach and Horses in Dersingham just a 5 minute drive away. Nice local beers and fab food served quickly. Will definitely be going back.

The site is great but the club was on an economy drive and instructed the wardens to close 2 of the 3 toilet blocks during the week and only open all at weekends.
As we were between blocks 2 and 3 and only the block by the reception was open there were cues for the showers and toilets in the mornings. We complained about this and was told to contact the club as this was their instruction.
As the site was not busy why did they site vans so far away. The van next to us had a lady whose husband had to take her in the car to go to the loo.

This was our second visit to this site, the first being Sept 2009, both visits saw the site fairly quiet and we loved it. Both times we were escorted to available pitches by a man on a bicycle, he asks you what sort of pitch you want and shows you what he has.
The site is right in the middle of the woods and really attractively set out. Never seen so many wood pigeons! We had a couple on top of the caravan one morning looking in at us through our sunroof, that was funny! So much wild life around, squirrels, rabbits, cuckoos, all sorts of birds. Last year we saw loads of geese etc flying into the area to winter.
The toilets/showers are spotless, but they do only open the one block when it is quiet, so unless you fancy a long trek you need to be pitched up that end of the site.
There is a small children's play area. Once or twice a week a fish and chip man comes round to the site. There is a lovely walk around the parimeter of the site, on the outside so you can let your dogs off the lead. There are lots of paths off into the woods in all directions. You could walk to the Sandringham visitor centre from the site. There are marked out walks over there of varying lengths and a cafe/restaurant and shop. You can go into Sandringam House from there too if it is open.
The nearest beach is maybe Snettisham, with a pay and display car park. This is a mainly pebble beach with a little sand along the shore line turning to mud past the high water line. When the tide is out you cannot see it. Dogs are allowed on the beach and in the sand dunes as long as you keep them under control. There are no facilities at this beach ie toilets or cafe.
Dersingham is the closest town at 2.5 miles, there we found the Feathers Pub, which has a lovely big garden and nice food and they allow dogs inside the bar too. There is also a Budgens and a Spar which are well stocked.

We had heard so much about this site and looked forward to going. The site is beautiful and the managers of the site were very friendly, although busy we had a choice of pitches which was great.
I found that this huge site didn't appear to be managed as well as other large sites we had visited.
Dogs were able to run loose. Children and adults played ball games (despite a small designated area near a toilet block) very near to our tent. The ball ended up being batted into our tent several times from various games of cricket by various people. I complained to a manager who happened to be emptying a bin, and they said that they were aware!
The games continued to be a played and I gave up asking politely, for people to be careful in such a built up area.
It may not be a fault of the site but showers were used and not mopped by users leaving muddy foot prints everywhere.
I feel that this site required a patrol as such just to cycle around a couple of times a day. It wasn't my job to educate people on appropriate camping behaviour.
Other than that, the local shop has excellent supplies of fresh bread and BBQ suff even at the end of the day.
Hunstanton, Castle Rising, Kings Lynn and Cromer were all a short distance from the site.

As per previous reviews, this is a lovely site, and was great for our dogs and for the children. Facilities are lovely, warm and clean.
My only complaints were:
Lack of recycling: (I've since discovered recycling bins were near reception, but only after all my rubbish went into the black bins) This was not made very clear.
Space: Despite the promise of 6 meters between units, another tent was placed 3 meters from the front of our tent, so we had a lovely view of the rear end of an Outwell!
I have made them aware of these things - and I know that sometimes things go wrong despite best efforts. In general the staff were incredibly helpful, so it wouldn't put me off visiting the site again.

Sandringham c&c club site is probably one of the nicest sites we (2 adults 1 small dog) have stayed on. It is a large grassy site in the middle of the woods.
The pitches are strategically placed in between trees - nothing like the regimented lines we are normally used to! and although the weekend was busy, it never felt it.
We were only booked for 3 nights but asked if we could stay on another night, and were told it was no problem. The dog walk on site is lovely with plenty of bins, and lots of walking off site.
The toilet blocks (3) were not all open at the quieter times, however they did open the one nearer to us over the weekend, they were clean, with lovely hot water.
There is a small shop on site for some basic povisions. We visited Hunstanton, and various villages in the area, however you would need the car to do this.
The only downsides we could find is that over the season the pitches would get quite bald and dusty / muddy (cant be helped on a grassy site,) and the instructions / directions onto the site were confusing and got there by luck rather than judgement! We will definitely return!

A fantastic site the toilet blocks are fantastic very well maintained. There is lots of walking in the area and these walks can be started from the campsite. The wardens were very friendly and we were able to stay until 3pm on the Sunday so that we could have an extra day walking.
There is a nice dog walk on the site and the site welcomes dogs. Hunstanton is 10 mins up the road with more walking and a lovely coastal path.

This was our third visit to this site, the site staff are friendly and helpful always, the shower/toilet block is always clean and warm, also the washing machine and dryer are really useful when you are on extended trips as we usually are.
It is a lovely site set in woodland with very mature trees, loads of wild life including small deer around at night, the site shop is ok but out of season has restricted opening times, but you are only ten minutes fron dersingham and a great budgens shop which also sells meat from the sandringham estate,or the other way to knights hill farm shop a bit pricey but good, all the major supermarkets are in kings lynn which is also a lovely town to visit
On the site you get a good mixture of tents, pop ups, caravans and m/homes. All in all a great site

Excellent site for visiting Sandringham House. Our pitch was a good size althought a little sandy/dusty but we are getting to the end of the season. The loo block was very good although the shower cubicles were a little small. The shop was handy for basic provisions fortunately as there is nothing else within walking distance. The walk through the woods to Sandringham House was lovely and the house itself is well worth a visit, especially the beautiful gardens. I took a peek at the Caravan Club site next door and think the CCC site is more spacious and better laid out. We will probably return but will take our bikes next time to make it easier to get about in the surrounding area.

Spent 6 nights on this site, great place to tour north Norfolk, excellent walking (off road) cycling, birdwatching or just doing nothing.
Toilets A1 none better, 3 children's play areas, great shop just off site (25Yds)
Bad points some pitches are just a patch of dust and it treads or blows every where, also lots of pigeons avoid walking under roosting trees.
Avoid Sandringhan Country fair weekend unless you like to hear dogs barking all day and at night.
We will return.
