We were very happy with this choice of camping site. We visited this site being new to the club but now after we have been to many other sites in the club I still feel this had the best facilities so far. A big bonus was lots separate washrooms in cubicles for the ladies. Toilets and showers always hot and clean and available.
The location was lovely. With quite roads and walks around the site then further afield places to visit on the north Norfolk coast. We were even surprised by the closeness of kingslynn and enjoyed a stroll around this on a wet damp day when the beach would have been a bad move.
Hunstanton and Heacham beaches were a nearby car journey but traffic to and from them were the worst part.
We visited the lavender farm at Heacham and Brancaster beach and Titchwell and snettisham RSPB reserve. We also found out that it was the Sandringham flower show so paid to go in to that and had access to the gardens but not able to visit the house on that week as it is always closed before and after a royal visit, so that is worth checking out, but the gardens were lovely.
Plenty of information at reception about shops and where to eat. The chip van visits the site on a Friday evening but after a long queue we were disappointed with the taste maybe the seaside chips had more appeal on the night.
Not having small children we didn't need to be near the playparks but there was adequate areas to play in 2 areas. We were able to choose a pitch from many even though it was peak season and the site was filing up. There were different types of sites some in the open and others under trees we opted for around the edge with a few branches of the tree overhanging which we found out wasn't always good when it rained it sounds worse and gave the pigeons a branch to perch on over our clean tent!

Just got back from a lovely weekend on this site. We arrived at 12.30 on Friday and found there to be a bit of queue to check in but it moved along really quickly. I took a photo of the sort of pitch we were looking for (a nice secluded little glade) and a very friendly warden showed us to a pitch which looked just like the photo. We were really pleased with it. Although, it was incredibly busy for the bank holiday weekend, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this site. You did not get much noise at all after 10pm which was lovely.
Can't fault the toilet and shower block. Went over to have a shower about 6pm last night and very quiet, water lovely and hot and block very clean. Had to search for the recycling bins though but found them near the reception area.
We took our bikes with us and went for a couple of cycle rides. We have liked in Norfolk (Norwich) for 20+ years and we both did not realise how pretty it was around Sandringham. We also discovered hills!
We really wanted to stay an extra night here but unfortunately could not as they were so busy for the weekend.
Would definitely recommend this site to all and we be going back next season.

Fantastic site. On arrival we checked in then meet with a guy who asked what we wanted from our pitch, the first pitch he showed us was in avery busy area, he then showed a second pitch that was great. The pitch sizes were fantastic we have a large 6 man tent and there was plenty of room. The toilets, showers and washing up facilities were spotless and excellent. The shop was well stocked and very good. A very peaceful site well kept, the staff were very friendly and happy to help. Would use this site again with out hesitation.

Just got back from this site at the weekend, and sometimes you take it for granted when you are close to a campsite, but we were really impressed with this site.
The pitch size was good, in a woodland setting, which we enjoy anyway. The facilities were clean and modern. There were many walks to go on, and with two dogs that need to be worn out this is important to us.
Staff were friendly, helpful, and we were impressed the way they took you to your pitch after firstly asking what you want from your pitch.
All in all we were very impressed with this site, and wish we could have stayed longer.

This site is very large but certainly doesn’t feel it! Set amongst the trees, there are no ‘set’ pitches in rows as you traditionally see, the vans, motor homes and tents are all set amongst each other in the trees which really makes this place feel spacious!
We were guided to our pitch in the usual way for a CCC club, by a friendly gentleman on a bike who kindly helped us safely manoeuvre the van in amongst the trees. Although I must say that while checking in another lady appeared to be being spoken to rather condescendingly for not knowing the registration of her motor home, but the lady I dealt with was lovely and friendly, as were all other staff I saw on the site!
There are a few toilet blocks on the site and even though the place was full on the weekend there was never a problem with getting a toilet or shower, the toilets were clean and water was lovely and warm.
There’s a small shop on site which doesn’t look much from the outside but had a very wide and extensive range, all reasonably priced inside so don’t be conned by the exterior!
There is a dedicated dog walk off the site amongst the trees which was nice to have a wander on an evening. There were two small play areas on site, both with 2 swings and a slide. When we arrived one of the swings looked rather old and damaged but this was actually repaired within a few days of our arrival and these kept our son entertained when he wanted to release some energy!
We took our bikes and managed to cycle up to the Sandringham country park every day, only downside is to get there you go on roads (bit worrying when 2 cars are coming in opposite directions) and up a bit of a hill, although this is quite pleasant coming back!
We found we had to do quite a bit of driving to get to National Trust properties and big Norfolk towns such as Wells Next The Sea, so while this is a lovely, picturesque site, it’s more ideally suited to those who fancy a few days of retreat rather than visiting the larger towns of Norfolk – so although we enjoyed our stay, we probably would not return to this site.

First weekend on this very quiet site, which was surprising given the amount of units on it.
After pitching on our 'gently sloping pitch' ( make sure you have chocks, levellers, pads, whatever you use), we settled in for a very peaceful weekend. The site is well maintained and toilet blocks, which are extremely clean, are close to hand all over the site. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a small, off site, shop stocking most necessities.
The surrounding area is all woodland and makes for some nice walks.
All in all a pleasant site.

This was our first visit to a camping and caravanning site since joining the club, cannot praise the place enough, superb, very clean and toilet block / shower rooms immaculate Great location for visiting north norfolk, there are numerous shops / pubs in nearby villages, great holiday.

Just got back from our first 5-night trip to this site and I have to say we will definitely be back. Everything you could hope for in a camping trip. Well run, well kept and in a beautiful area. Only possible downside I can think of is that it can get extremely busy, but that didn't bother us (check-in time was long though - bit annoying after a long drive). Nearby shop (between the two sites) is OK, though opening hours could be extended possibly ? However this shop is independent of the site.
Overall, lovely area, beautiful site and I can't wait to visit Norfolk again.

A large sprawling site with very good facilities BUT very poor ground.
The site is excellent for it's facilities regarding toilets, showers etc.
Unfortunately it is not well signposted and the ground is very, very dusty and does not repair easily.
It is certainly not the cleanest site in the world because of this. Dust or mud is everywhere.
More time must be given for pitches to self repair before the next unit parks on it. Also I would suggest that only breathable groundsheets are allowed. This will not cause the serious damage to the pitches.

As usual, high standard Camping and Caravanning Club facilities. Lovely site surrounded by woodland. Good cycling and walking near the site and further afield. We cycled the Sustrans route into Kings Llyn one day and a country lane route to Houghton House on another day. The walk from the site up to Sandringham House is very attractive. There was so much space for our mid week stay near the end of April. It looked as if it could get quite busy over a bank holiday weekend though. You'll find a small shop in the woods on the way to the other club site.
