Excellent site location. Well run, with clear site rules and friendly owners.

Very pleasant stay.

The cold showers didn't suit everyone but only stayed for two nights.

This is a very special campsite in a very special location, run by a very special couple Marcia and Lawrence. We hadn't stayed here before this visit.

But we had been encouraged to book by reviews that praised the owners commitment to ensuring that some basic campsite etiquette would be adhered to by all, for the benefit of all. We were not disappointed.

We did initially have a few problems with neighbours, which Lawrence fielded amiably and admirably, fully living up to a commitment to keep the campsite user friendly. The rest of our stay was pretty much idyllic, and Lawrence and Marcia continued to responsive and friendly hosts.

We have had bad experiences on other campsites in the past, where the owners largely left it to the campers to sort out any difficulties with fellow campers.

This we felt made for an uncomfortable stay, and seemed like the owners were just absenting themselves from their basic responsibilities. Here that anxiety was wholly absent, as Lawrence is clearly someone with standards and principles, and is prepared to adhere to them.

So if you really do want somewhere where peace and quiet is more than just an optional extra, then I'd encourage you to try Trefalen Campsite. If you don't, then don't.

Many thanks to you both Marcia and Lawrence.

We hope very much to visit again (soon?) Cormac and Wendy.

Ps my score for site facilities is bearing in mind that the owners make no pretence that they are anything other than fairly rudimentary, if clean. So if you want hot showers and hot water, then it's another don't!

Fabulous views. Great location for exploring coast and Bosherston ponds. Great beach.

Very friendly and attentive owners, could not have been more helpful. Pub and tea rooms 1 mile.

Toilet facilities and cold showers! Very peaceful.

We love this site. The owners keep a really close eye on ensuring you have a good time.

They enforce the limited rules that are in place which we found very welcome as it meant the site remains the peaceful haven we have come to know and love.

Don't expect many facilities but this is very much compensated by the stunning location, friendly owners and wonderful opportunities to explore this great pat of the world.

Please don't change a thing and so appreciative the numbers of people camping had clearly been kept to a minimum in order to ensure we all felt safe and suitably distanced

Quiet familiar camp site, close to the interest spots.

Great communication with the people in charge.

Some military training noise in surrounding areas but nothing that could disturb us.

Good experience,

I would come back.

Nice, peaceful site in a field.

Basic with toilets, a small honesty shop with basic items and you can fill up with water.

Owner seemed friendly as he passed by a few times while we were there.

Really enjoyed the site and the facilities were as advertised. The staff were friendly and offered advice regarding the local area.

There were toilets and water taps although these are not viable as drinking water.

The pitch was a little expensive for a wild camping site however this may have been due to travelling during half term.

The surrounding area is perfect, lots of walks/hikes as well as being near the coast for people who enjoy that.

Would happily return to the campsite as we both had a great experience.

Another brilliant stay at Trefalen farm.

Wonderful location with great beach and lovely coastal walks.

The most obliging hosts who go out of their way to ensure you are enjoying your stay.

Toilets and cold showers available but we always use our own van facilities.

Will be back later in the year.

What a wonderful place to stay. We were greeted by Laurence who told us about the local area and where to visit. He was very welcoming and said to ring or call at the farmhouse if we needed anything.

We had EHU for our motor home. Water has to be collected by watering can and grey water decanted by hand.

If you don’t have EHU you can choose your pitch. The field is large clean and open. The toilet block and shower are very basic, cold water only. This adds to the experience.

If you want more facilities go elsewhere but if you want beautiful countryside, beautiful very accessible beaches, beautiful fresh air and relaxation this is the place to come.

We would really love to come again to have another fantastic experience.
