Had 2 nights at this lovely campsite last week. Took my parents (who are local-ish and newbies to camping!) and they had an amazing time- so much so that they are now looking for their own tent lol. Spacious fields, basic but immaculate toilet facilities, owners incredibly friendly-we got the feeling that nothing was too much trouble.

Bosherston lily ponds are spectacular, Broad Haven South beach is one of the best in the area, lovely coastal walks-we weren't short of things to do, even when it was raining and windy! St Govan's Inn in the village does pretty impressive food at very reasonable prices, can highly recommend that.

In short, cannot fault this lush little site AT ALL, and would happily stay there again :)

This site is next to National Trust land at Broadhaven Beach. The photo's are of the Trusts land. Not of the camping area.

The site comprises of two fields. The first large field is surrounded by trees/walls. The second slopes to a bottom field. Typical of a livestock farmers field.

Mixed flat and sloping pitches. No rule about pitching distance, some too close together. Two toilets for men and womem, cold water taps, no electricity, no toilet paper, or soap. A utility tent is useful with solar shower. Clean toilets on National Trust car park next to site.

Freezer for ice packs at farm, always full but useful and no charge.

Grass long in places. Wet and very muddy after rain. Would benefit from gravel/tarmac driveway. Car and tent got muddy, wellies useful.

Some minimal views out to sea. Beach 15 minute walk. Approx 70 steps to beach. Beautiful beach, near Lilly Ponds. Coastal path accessible.

Dogs allowed to roam free, ok if responsible owners! Some were a nuisance.

Campfire/BBQ allowed (off ground) but must be out by 11pm.

Shops in Pembrooke five miles. Bring camping essentials. No shop on site. Very reasonable rates, no charge for dog.

Good Cafe and pub for food a mile down the road.

We love this area and have been coming to this camp site for a few years. Fabulous location, really can't beat it.

Toilets are very tired now and need renewing also they are just too few for the number of people there. We don't mind basic just not smelly and dirty as well.

Although the owners are friendly they are just too proscriptive and after 11pm even if you are having a quiet conversation you will be told to be quiet and go to bed.

This site could be exceptional with very little work. Really the only thing it has going for it is the location.

What a beautiful site! You couldn't be in a better location for beautiful beeches and stunning (coastal)walks! But be aware that some of the best walks are in military territory; during (some) weekdays you can hear the shots as if they're shooting at you and you cannot access some parts of the coastal path.

The Govans Inn is in walking distance and is often busy for lunch and dinner. We didnot eat here, so we don't know if the food is good. We did have some drinks though; shame they didn't have Guinness on tap (excuse us as we're Dutch).

There is a bus at Broadhaven that takes you to Pembroke or Stackpole Quay, which both is worth a visit. Pembroke Castle is impressive and there are some nice pubs in town.

The owners of the campsite are very nice and helpful people and the toilet block is basic (no showers) but clean. The only slightly negative point I have to mention is that the grass was very long in the camping field.

I have stayed at this site about 40 times over the last 5 years. So you know from that it must be a great site. The site boasts some of the best views in the UK along with spotless toilets.

I have no hesitation in giving this site 10 out of 10 on every aspect. Close by are the world famous Bosherston Lily Ponds.

The local pub about a mile away is also first class for food and great drinks.

Some say that this site is one of the best kept secrets in the camping/caravanning world and I agree 100%

We stayed at Trefalen Park over the Easter break, this year. The campsite was featured in my cool camping booking and on that basis alone we decided to book for one evening.

The campsite and its facilities are as described and this place is set in stunning scenery with amazing beaches and lake walks, a stones throw away.

Amenities are basic but the owners don't shy away from this (they're as described) and for one night, it really didn't affect our stay in the slightest. Infact, it added to the character of this charming place.

Wow. Just about says it all.

A truly fantastic site with views to die for, we loved every minute of our 10 days there, the plan was to stay for a couple of days and move on, but we could not drag ourselves away.

We was in the lower field, we have a 4x4 which after almost 24 hours of non stop rain was invaluable, the very friendly farmer was only to happy to tow vehicles which could not manage the slope to the top.

I can only agree with everyone else's comments, this site is fantastic with a lovely relaxed attitude from the owners

Cannot wait to return.

Lovely spot, turn up lock the car up and forget about using it for the rest of your stay!

Just remember toilet roll and food.

Brilliant time had by all. Single track lanes stops it getting too busy.

Loads of lovely walks plenty of beach / sand dunes safe areas for children, just watch them if you are near the cliffs. Rocks for exploring.

Toilets are basic but that is all you need. If you want luxury go to a hotel.

The location speaks for itself - beautiful. The facilities were basic just as described else where but adequate and well maintained.

On arrival we experienced dire mechanical automotive problems and received immediate and effective assistance from site owners beyond their necessary hospitality.

While the weather was mixed we still enjoyed amazing views from the coast while out walking. We particularly enjoyed a secluded beach with a couple of small caves.

During our short time here we didn't get to explore the full possibilities of the area but wish to return to this site to do so. Its obvious that so many people return to this site year on year for the sound reason of location and quality of service from the owners.

Fantastic site in a stunning location - a few minutes walk down the cliff path to one of the best beaches in the UK. We stayed during half term but the beach is so large that it never felt crowded. Camping just as we like it (family of 5 with 3 small children) - a big field with stunning views and lots of fresh air for running about in. That's about it - apart from basic toilets.

Friendly farmer but do remember your own toilet paper! Come stocked with food for your trip and be prepared not to leave site due to a combination of the beach and area being so nice and the mile long, mostly single track road from the village to the farm being tricky to navigate at busy times: It was quite crowded during our rare trips out in the car due a combination of the coastal bus, farm machinery and visitors to the NT beach carpark due to the fantastic weather.

Site is right on the Pembrokeshire coast path (1 mile to the west is St Govan's chapel) and the Stackpole estate is beautiful with plenty of footpaths to explore. Do take time to walk up to the old Walled Garden too - they sell home grown fruit and veg, including pick your own strawberries, and the bakers in Lamphey was a fantastic find (just get to the village and follow your nose).

A fantastic week's hol. For us all - can't wait to stay here again.
