This is simple, old fashioned farm camping for those who love the great outdoors and don't want fancy facilities. It is in a glorious position close to beautiful beaches and walks. Search out St Govans Chapel built into the cliffs and walk around Bosherston lily ponds and just maybe see the otters.
This visit I was the only unit there but the friendly owner still checked the loos in the pouring rain and was very obliging when I decided to move on earlier than planned.
Love this place so much I hardly want to tell you about it!

We actually can't believe that anybody would have anything negative to say about this place! Absolutely stunning place to camp, lovely welcome from the hosts and so easy to sort and book.
This site is for those who do camping old school. Theres one toilet block with two cubicles per women and men. Very clean and obviously looked after. There's also a National Trust toilet block in the adjoining car park for when its busy. Theres two water stops that we saw.
The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away. Its just stunning and with the right weather, you could easily spend the day down there.
Theres also the nearby Lily ponds which makes for a lovely walk.
Nearby is a cafe and a pub- in Bosherston village. Definitely wished we'd visited the pub as we heard good things about the food.
We used the site as it was pretty easy to get to Freshwater West (where we were surfing. )
The two owners (based at the actual farm) were just lovely. We couldn't get there until 8:45pm but they were still there with their door open waiting for us. Every day, the farmer drives past to make sure you're ok and to see what you're upto. He even offered to forge us a doctors note so we didn't have to go home! We nearly took him up on the offer.
As I said, this site is for those who do camping properly and aren't bothered about their comforts. We will most certainly be back!

Basic? Yes a toilet roll and a bar of soap would be a luxury. Near to beach carpark nice bay. Not much room to manoeuvre large vehicle at entry. Grass uncut. Friendly people. No hardstandings nor hookups.
If you like it quiet rural and basic then this is the site for you apart from being a bit overpriced for what you get.

The owners of this site are very friendly and helpful and despite the site being full allowed us to stay for a night whilst we were touring in the area. Even though it was full the site did not feel overfull with tents crammed in. There are no showers or hot water which I was aware of before we arrived and the toilets are quite basic( there are also toilets in the NT carpark next door which I used when the campsite toilet was busy). The best thing about this campsite is the location, right on the coastal path with amazing walks, stunning views and gorgeous beaches close by. Although you do have to walk along the coastal path and down steepish steps to get to the beaches so may not be too easy with small children, beach stuff, picnic boxes etc! If you want a beach with good access Freshwater West and Angle Bay have free carparks next to the beach. Freshwater West is a good surfing beach, wild and uncommercial, Angle is calmer and very child friendly. We were lucky with the weather and had a lovely evening walk along to Broadhaven beach, Barafundle bay, Stackpole Quay and then through the Stackpole Estate back round to Bosherton. The campsite owner gave us a leaflet with the walk in, it took a couple of hours. We had a drink and a meal in St Govans Inn in Bosherton which is a comfortable pub where dogs are allowed in, the food was excellent, great home cooked chips! We walked back to the campsite via the road, about 20 mins. This is a beautiful part of Wales and if you want to get away from it all, love scenic walks, the coast and don't mind back to basics then this site is perfect.

Our first stay at this site, and I must say we will definitely be back. Lovely warm welcome with views to die for. Stayed here for our first wedding anniversary, had an amazing time! From the moment we arrived the owners went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. Make sure to bring your own toilet roll though.

I have to agree with the other comments, this site for us is amazing. Great views, great if not the best beaches, great walks, non regimented total relaxation. It has to be our favourite! Being right on the coastal path makes walking a delight. We love the stackpole estate and often go looking for the otters early in the morning. We are in a motorhome so facilities are not a problem for us, in fact we prefer sites which are low on facilities such as shower blocks etc.

Wow what a great place to camp!
This camp site is wonderful, first we had a very warm greeting explained what's what re the site.
We were a very large group, (33 inc children) yet we had lots of space to camp as the owners don't over crowed the site. They could get twice as many tents in.
The owner drives around now and again to check that all's well, any issues or question just ask him, very friendly person.
Gave us a great advice about the pub about a 3 minute drive or a 20 minute walk and their curry night. (Stuffed)
Views are some of the best, if you want to walk you'll love it, if you want to sit on one of the best beaches you'll love it, if you want to relax you'll love it.
Steep walk down to the beach which is fine, going back up with kids is a bit of a Trek so don't forget anything. Ice cream van at the top of the walk, so take a bit of money.
There is a small toilet block, clean most of the time, take loo roll.
2x outside sinks for washing up dishes and that's it. No showers which would be great but we used sola showers, which worked ok and only £4.99
The car park toilet next door had an outdoor shower which anybody can use, very cold though but handy.
I'd 100% use the site again, other posts say about owner not being nice, they are wrong, yes he came around at 11pm to make sure fires were out, there the rules and that was fine by us.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.

2nd visit for us and had a fantastic time: If you want fresh air, stunning scenery, a fantastic beach a few minutes walk away, space and freedom and you are relatively self sufficient then do enjoy this campsite.
If however you need a daily shower, hot water to wash up and facilities/shops then this is not for you! But we love it!
Beautiful part of the world to visit, even in bad weather, with Manobier castle and beach, the Stackpole estate, Lamphey Bishops Palace and Freshwater west for surfing all nearby. Local pub does good selection of meals for rainy days.
But If you are going during summer 2013 the Fantastic baker in Lamphey is shut until Autumn!

We have travelled extensively for most of our lives but this is one of the most amazing places we have ever visited, if you are looking for a place to dream, relax & find your inner self then this is it. We used this place as a stopover on a return trip to Ireland & could have stayed forever.
The site itself is wonderful, the owners warm & friendly & as for the location I am lost for words, you have to discover it for yourself, we shall be back.

Great location right on the coastal path and only a few steps away from the most beautiful beach.
Whilst checking in we were told the strict rules and regulations of the camp site which we must obey. It felt as if we were on a school trip.
However, we didn't see the reasoning for such regulations as it was just a field and a shed for a toilet, to be used between the 50 other campers on site, with one 'out of order' out of the 4 available. We actually used more of the (cleaner) National trust toilet block in the car park, next to the camp site.
Being on a camp site, near the beach and on a coastal path, you'd at least expect a simple shower block. But no such luck. We went home smelly but quite happy!
