Can highly recommend this campsite, especially the help of owners Laurence and Marcia. As there are no electric hookups we were well prepared with solar power and gas fridge, unfortunately the fridge broke down and Laurence came to our rescue by providing a hookup from his farm.
We were allowed to stay an extra night as we had to cancel 2 sites on our tour. He and his dear wife could not have been more attentive making our stay memorable, not only for their help, but the fabulous location of the site.

Amazing camp-site - I was the only one there that time of year! Very friendly and helpful people. The beach was my favourite discovery on my coastal path hike from Angle and was a two minute walk away from the site. The pools were also worth a walk around. Spent my evening in the local pub which served very good food - highly recommend a visit!

I chose this site for its basic facilities, but mainly for its position. Its a large site so plenty of room to maintain privacy if that's what you want. There was only 1 other van there when we were, so no problem for us or our dog who is a bit wary of other dogs. So nice to have the coast path at the end of the field, although you wont be able to go west if the red flag is flying, which happened on our last day, which saddened me as I was planning to go that way - perhaps next time. The lovely sandy Broadhaven beach is 5 minutes walk and the other end of the beach leads to the walks round the lakes which you can vary to suit yourself. Toilet facilities are perfectly adequate (no hot water or loo paper) but my only small gripe was that they were a bit dark inside, especially if you get there early evening before the lights come on automatically at 7pm. We loved it and I'm sure we will return.

This was my second visit this year and again I was not disappointed. The site facilities are basic but clean and function perfectly. What makes this special is the location and the lovely beaches and walks around the lakes.
I wasn't impressed by the local pub.
The cafe in Stackpole was good on my first visit but appalling on my second so I guess you take your chances there.
Very dog friendly site and the beaches are too.

Just wanted to say we have just come back from the most relaxing 3 night stay at this camp site. Bliss. The weather was not the best. But that did not spoil the total chill out we got from this place. Its right above broad sands and we fell asleep each evening listening to the waves. No noise from fellow campers who abided by the no noise or camp fires after 11pm rule. Glad to have found a camp site with owners who care about their guests. They were welcoming and helpful and left you alone to enjoy this special place. Clean toilets and undercover washup area. Cold shower (which my husband loved !). I used a solar water bag. Lol. I am not that brave. And they welcome dogs and the beach is dog friendly too. Hurray. We all had a brilliant stay and want to return for a longer stay next time. Thank you x

Wow, an amazing setting for a very basic, but great campsite. I will certainly return for longer and extended stays. The views are spectacular, which of course means that it is very exposed to the elements. During our weekend, some campers lost their tents due to the weather, but I think everyone will return but better prepared.
The owners I found very friendly and helpful, even though I could see they were quite disappointed with the number of cancellations due to the weather forecast - something we do extremely badly in Britain. The setting is just perfect for any nature lover, camper of old or anybody that like to get away from signals, wifi, gadgets and virtual happiness. I would recommend that this is a good way of showing the kids how we used to camp.
The toilets (2 per gender) and one shower (cold) were clean, basic but perfectly kept. The ground well drained and we had no problems with the grass pitch. Loved the fact that our dogs did not have to be on a lead, as I found most people relaxed and dog friendly.
The area was scenic, all within walking distance e. G. The pub, the beach, the ponds, etc. Lots of activities to do, but it is worth making sure you know what you are doing, as these natural resources can easily become danger zones to the inexperienced.
All in all. A fantastic site, but not for those who want comfort. This is for those who are adventurous of heart.

A basic site in an amazing position. Will return again and again. The owner can be a bit over powering but once on the site the position, views and feel of the site more than make up for it. Take a solar shower though as only toilets and cold water are on the site

Idyllic location, beautiful views. Pub (delicious calamari), tea rooms and lakes 1 mile away. National Trust tea room at Stackpole Quay (very tasty local ice cream) is a 3-4 mile walk over beautiful headland and past pristine white sand beaches. Nearest beach is the stunning Broad Haven South, a 5 min walk, through NT car park (they have free local magazine with tide times so you don't get trapped if exploring coves!)
Tesco is in Pembroke Dock about 5 miles away (through Pembroke, great castle), best for food supplies. They also have the best priced petrol around.
Toilet/cold shower (with solar shower hook) very clean as was the rest of the site. Lovely, quiet (army range firing not very loud at all, no firing at weekends) and friendly atmosphere amongst campers, owners lovely & very helpful. I will definitely be back!

This was a lovely site and we would definitely return.
Very warm welcome, beautiful sea views, 5 minute walk to a glorious beach. Other walks across the range to St Govan's and more beaches but bear in mind the range is 'live' - dates are advertised online and by phone. Bosherton is such a pretty spot - well worth doing the whole walk round, and Barrafundle Bay is delightful.
It's a campsite - fresh water available in several points, basic clean toilets, recycling bins available & all clean & tidy. Plenty of room for all to run around - big kids & small kids!
The owners do circulate to make sure that you are enjoying your stay, and there are no strange rules - just extend basic courtesies to others enjoying this wonderful spot and you will have a great stay.

Recently had a fab weekend camping at Trefalen Farm Campsite - WOW! Such a beautiful area, fantastic views of the sea from the site. The site has spring water and clean toilets (no showers), but I was aware of that before I went. Nonetheless, I would definitely go back (the sooner, the better). The owners were lovely people and inspected the site several times a day, ready to help with any enquiries. The perfect retreat!
