Just back from our first ever camping trip, numbered pitches nicely spaced each with a bin. We were pitched near to sink and tap in the field. Clean shower and toilet block ( 3 showers) not very busy whilst we were there but can imagine if the site is busy then there could be a wait for facilities.
Kids had loads of space to play ball games, site right next to a stoney beach, currently undergoing coastal defence work but can still hear the lovely sound of the sea. 5 min walk along coastal path into the pretty town of Aberaeron.
Second night experienced gale force winds, tent survived but husband reckons he is scarred for life! Tom, site owner came round the following morning to check how we had survived the night, which was nice.

If looking for great base for getting around Ceredigion then would definitely recommend.

We visit here every August Bank Holiday weekend for the carnival and rugby 7s. It is ideal for walking into Aberaeron along the coast path which you can access from the site. The site is very reasonable with free hot showers. These can be very busy on the bank holiday weekend but not if you time it right!

The pitches are well spaced out and there is plenty of room for children (or dogs!) to play. There is no children's playground.

There is a garage at the main entrance to the site but the other shops are about a 5 minute walk away. The only downfall is there is no dishwashing area.

We love this place!

Tom`s place! (that`s what we call it anyway) we love it here, very convenient for walking into Aberaeron along coast path accessed directly from the site(also the beach) which is undergoing sea defence work at the moment, this does not affect the site at all. Very reasonable prices, free hot showers, lots of ehu`s and very well spaced pitches, dogs welcome and lots of space for children to play. There is a garage just down from the entrance to the site for your morning paper, although Aberaeron is just a stroll away with it`s lovely harbour and plenty of shops etc etc etc. The toilets and showers are always spotless! A nice flat field with pitching around the edge, with the middle left as open space, which is nice! rather than being crammed in! We started visiting here in our tent, and it was the first place we visited in our motorhome which we have had for over 5 years, so I would suggest it is somewhat of an addiction that we visit! And always made so welcome even at last minute by Tom and his family!
