Stopped here for a night when we wanted to visit Aberaeron and take in a nice walk along the coast path. We hadn't booked and on arrival a clearly displayed notice informed us to call the owner; they allocated us a pitch over the phone and said they'd catch up later for payment.

The location is great with the small town centre and harbour being a 5-10 minute stroll, the beach being 30 seconds away and the coast path closer still. There are a couple of convenience shops, fish and chips shops and a few pubs all within walking distance The facilities were clean and tidy.

The weather had been quite wet prior to our visit, but the fields were firm enough and no concerns of getting stuck. It was nice to sit outside the van and hear the waves breaking on the beach.

A very nice site and no doubt we'll return to it when visiting the area again.

Lovely site with great location right on the beach with a very short walk along beach or on beachside path to lovely little town of Aberaeron. Very well maintained site. Pleased to have a bin on pitch and be right beside the beach path.

Toilet block had sufficient toilets and showers with little outdoor area for dishwashing. Sockets in toilets which we were allowed to use for charging were greatly appreciated!

We just turned up and very impressed with everyone involved in site.

This site is a gem! The site has well kept grass, cut whenever a unit departs, individual bins and excellent re-cycling facilities. The toilet block is slightly outdated, but it is spotless and there is lashings of hot water. The site is a 10 minute walk along the beach to a lovely little seaside town of Aberaeron which has bars, restaurants, small supermarket and no amusements or candy floss. Bliss! We were on pitch 110 which has views of the sea and magnificent sunsets on good days! It did rain quite a lot when we were there but the ground drained well. The beach is pebbly so this is probably not a site suitable for a bucket and spade type holiday. Thoroughly recommended.

Love this site. Great for families and some regulars stay there all season. They put a stop to loud music etc which is great. Right on the beach and a short stroll to the village. Pubs, takeaway, shops all a short distance. Fab

What a stunning site and amazing value for money. I planned to stay for one night and ended up there for three nights as it was so nice.

The owners are very laid back and really friendly and try to make camping easy. The pitches were a good size and each pitch has its own bin so you don't have to walk to the main bins. The shower block was clean and there was an outdoor was up area.

The site led directly onto the coastal path and there was an easy walk into town

Highly recommended

Just got back from 4 lovely days at this wonderful campsite. We arrived unannounced, but Michelle put us on a lovely pitch in the corner. We were able to park side on to shelter us from a very breezy couple of days.

This site has improved again from our last visit in 2013. The ground has great drainage, with nil chance of getting stuck. The toilets and showers were spotless, with daily cleaning. Plenty of standpipes, and loads of rubbish bins (1 per pitch).

For those that haven't visited, the sea is just 2 minutes away. An easy walk into Aberaeron, with all its pubs and restaurants (You must visit The Harbourmaster ).

Lots of walks along the coastal path in both directions, or if its buses you want, there are plenty in the square going to Aberystwyth or Newquay or beyond.

A wonderful site to discover Ceredigion !

Lovely open site close to town(short walk along the sea front). Easy to find. You cannot get to pitch much closer to the sea than this. Basic amenities but all well presented and clean. EHU or not as to your requirements. Nice little town with harbour to get your shopping or watch the world go by. Handy for Cardigan Bay area if you are fixed or as a short stopover if you are touring.

Two very large fields, so surprised that pitches were so small and close together. We were in a field with over 50 pitches and only one standpipe, it could really do with a few more. The toilet/shower block was outdated and small, it may have been nice when it first opened but it is in dire need of modernisation. The gents urinal never got cleaned over the 6 days we were there. I know this because there was a large dead moth in it on the Sunday we arrived and it was still there when we left Saturday, also the smell was a giveaway. Talking of smells, the elsan point needs a flushing system because it is awful. I really don't know what we were paying for. We will not be visiting again.

What a lovely find this camp site was!

The toilet block was immaculate, the fields were flat, and the pegs went in easily. There were bins it appeared on most pitches.

The warden, Michelle was very helpful, and directed us to the shop we were looking for in Aberaeron, and always found time to chat to us.

Aberaeron was a short distance from the edge of the campsite, along the flat coastal path, lovely views of the sea and coast.

Once in Aberaeron, we were spoilt for choice for places to eat, and it is a remarkably well kept town.

We paid £14 a night for the pitch, which we thought was excellent value, as it included up to 4 people, and there was no extra charge for an awning.

We look forward to our next visit.

We visited the site this year for the fourth time and although the site is very flat and close to the beach and town the toilet \ shower block was not very clean this time. I think it really needs updating. And also no WiFi available. The chemical toilet could do with a flush. The site is very dog friendly.
