Security fencing all the way round made it feel like a prison, the grass was yellow, very patchy and tents were just crammed in wherever there was a space. 1st night was really noisy music till gone 2am, no respect of others from quite a few of the campers. Also a strong smell of rotting food from the bin area, not pleasant. At £20 a night we were expecting a lot more. Add that to the boy racers tearing around outside the site until the early hours, wheel spinning, what a racket! Only positive point was the size of the shower block, good size shower cubicles

This was our second visit to the site. It is generally clean and well cared for by Harry and Chris the site managers, who are lovely people and always helpful.
It is excellent value for money, but this time we had a problem with noisy neighbours until the very early hours, which did spoil it a bit.
The site would benefit from enforced speed restrictions and a curfew especially for those with younger children or disabled people.
Easy access to the beach and into Cleethorpes itself. Plenty of choice if you want to eat out. Good shopping in Grimsby and local major supermarkets.
Same time next year!

Dogs were allowed to roam the site without being on a lead
There was a womens vest top in the middle of the field for approx. 4 days while we were there, in the end I picked it up myself and binned it as I was sick of walking around it.
At a guess I'd say a few of the caravans are there for the season and of these one seemed to be unloved (junk on a table outside, when there was no-one there) and the grass was quite high around the season pitches too.
Having said all this the site wardens are helpful and very friendly, toilets, showers and wash areas are clean.
This is a good site which is in one of the best position on the Lincolnshire coast, with a little bit of extra love it could be a fantastic site.

What a lovely campsite! Very basic but clean. Very friendly owners; they were always about, or at the end of a mobile. You can use their freezer for your cool blocks etc. There are enough toilets (always had loo roll) but only 2 showers in the ladies so as you can imagine a bit of a wait in the mornings!
The pub close by was annoyingly loud, sounded like a live band and bashing drums for one night and bad karaoke the next!
The walk to the beach is forever with young children! We ended up driving as far as we could to get closer. There is a cycle / footpath the stretch of the beach which you can walk straight into Cleethorpes to all the local facilities.
We had plenty of room for our large 6 man tent with gazebo, (once we got the tent pegs in, the ground was like iron!) But I think it may have been cramped if the campsite was full to capacity.
For a long stay it wouldn’t suit us, as we would need a laundrette with 2 young children.
Reasonable price, and for a short break you cant beat it, we will be returning.

We stayed here at Easter with 2 of our grandchildren and 2 dogs. The site is ideally situated for the town and Theme park there is a miniature railway that runs alongside the park. The site itself is basic but nice and flat the toilets and showers were very well kept and clean. There is a lovely Chinese restaurant doing all you can eat buffet a 5 minute walk away which the grand children loved and is good value for money. There is also a cinema and mcdonalds 5 minutes away ideal if the weather turns nasty. This site was ideal for both the grandchildren and dogs with plenty of areas for dog walking and plenty to keep the children occupied in the nearby resort town. The warden was friendly and approachable. We will return again.

Site had good facilities, but also cramped. Site was close to beach, within walking distance into Cleethorpes. There was plenty to do in the area.
The site was a very noisy until 4.30am, which was a shame! Toilets and shower's were very clean, washing up area was very good, and was covered. Plenty of rubbish bins around the site, Easy access to water all around the site.

We've just come back from a week at this little gem of a site. All pitches are on grass - we had lovely weather, but I suspect that it may become a little muddy if there's heavy rain. The toilets and showers were fine and were kept clean. You can't control the shower temperature, which was a little hot for me, and the cubicle was so steamy that it was difficult to get properly dry!
The best part of the site is its situation - very close to lots of eating places and entertainment, and it is a great site if you have dogs as there are loads of places to walk them straight from the site.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely pitch near the entrance. We only paid £12 per night, incl electric, which we thought was brilliant value.

Enjoyed our stay. Pleasant, value for money site.Amenities good lacks only a launderette. Spacious hookup pitches Well kept by the owners who live 'on site' and seem to be cleaning all the time. Plenty of hot water. Ideally placed for Pub Grub, takeaways, and visits to everywhere,. Loads to do close to site. Only 2 minuses we found were.
Quiet nights are regularly ruined by the revving engines, screeching tyres and blaring music of local morons who use the lane which runs outside the site as a racetrack. Until the early hours. The owner was doing all he could to fix this with some success.
The beach adjacent to the site is just acres of mud,,silt, and quicksand. The incoming tide is unpredictable and covers it rapidly from all directions. It becomes sand at Cleethorpes itself which uses a quad bike mounted squad for rescue. Well worth the 160 mile tow we had to get there.

We visited this site in August for a long weekend. The location was fantastic and Cleethorpes looked great in full bloom! We were really happy with our choice of site. We had a large Outwell but didn’t feel cramped at all even though the site was busy. The showers are the best I’ve come across in any campsite and free which was a bonus. There is also a large family shower room which was really useful although the regular showers are large enough for a small family. We found the showers and toilets to be very clean at all times and saw the owners cleaning them lots of times a day including late in the evening. There was even a sign letting you know if the cleaner was male or female! The owners live on the site and were very welcoming and helpful. They have recycling bins. We will be booking there again next year.

Just arrived home after spending a few days at the site, facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean, staff were very helpful, the sea is only a short walk away and town centre only about 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes in a car, cafe 20 yards from camp entrance and do a nice breakfast plus other meals at reasonable prices, well priced site and we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go again, highly recommended
