We were booked in for four nights but unfortunately Storm Bibet scuppered our travel plans and the staff were more than helpful in letting us stay for an extra night and even switched bookings to save us moving to another pitch.
The toilet and showers are some of the best we have seen in 12 years of touring, lovely and warm inside and piping hot showers. There is also a communal room with dishwashing facilities. Fridge, microwave and snack machine.
Pitches are spacious and well set out and fairly level and all hardstanding.
The dog walk is definitely the best we have ever used. A huge field with paths all around and you could easily walk a mile with your dog. Poo bins and bags are provided.
A few minutes drive will take you to Hadrians Wall where you can walk east or west along the wall. We walked to the Sycamore Gap and wished we had done so when the tree was there.
Beautiful part of the country with so many things to do and see and also a Dark Sky Centre.

Superb site and excellent customer service.
Due to unexpected high winds our awning was brought down. The staff did everything they could to allow us to continue our stay.
The site itself has the best facilities we have ever used in 20 years of camping.

Absolutely lovely site.
Only did one night on the way home but we'll definitely come back.
The views from the top of the hill were great,
The staff were lovely and all facilities so clean - what more could you ask for?

A great little site surrounded by nature and animals.
Set in a shallow valley providing some defence against poor weather, although it was good whilst we were there.
Many, many sheep & lambs in the adjacent fields and on site are 3 Alpacas, a donkey and pony, two pigs, two goats, rabbits and chickens. Along with an extensive off-lead, dog-walk area this is an animal-lover paradise !
A three-quarter mile walk to a great little pub with good food, and Haltwhistle just over a mile in the other direction.
A surprisingly busy little town providing everything you might need, but do mind the steep and winding road - take care on the bike on the way down and you'll benefit from battery support on the way back !
Friendly staff and good quality facilities.
Nothing negative to report.

The best thought out campsite we have used, 5* facilities designed for the campers, someone actually thought about this set up, well done.
Little things like the vending machines and indoor area to eat food and play games.
Indoor hot water pot cleaning sink.
Goal posts in front of a hill for missed shots, so the ball rolls back to you, away from site vans

Though site in a very isolated location this site, as others have said is total luxury with a very fast, free wifi.
The walk to Hadrians Wall, past the Milecastle pub, is about 20 mins. The Milecastle pub itself about 10 min walk though a steep walk back after food and drinks, the food here is mainly pub grub though there is a restaurant annex, it also does a couple of nice north east real ales.
The AD 122 bus stops outside the site which was handy for a tour around the historical sites as well as visiting the Twice Brewed Inn to finish off the day.

WOW what a site! Absolute luxury!
The managers Phil & Sue and all of the wardens were amazing, so helpful and friendly and really made us feel cared for.
Their Covid 19 awareness and measures were fabulous, as we have been shielding we found this so reassuring and enabled us to truly relax and feel safe.
The facilities were spotlessly clean and modern. Heated floors in the bathrooms made bathing feel luxurious.
Low level mirrors for children to see themselves were really thoughtful.
Baths and showers were available, the water pressure was good and the water stayed consistently hot.
The communal room offered indoor dishwashing facilities, heated floor, tables and chairs, reasonably priced vending machines and fantastic information and books.
The laundry room had a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron available.
The wifi was high speed and the TV signal was good.
The cabins, hot tubs and luxurious pods, sauna and BBQ hut all look fabulous, what a great place to holiday with family and friends!
The animals were a delight to see and are very well cared for.
Walking from the site was easy, a small bit of road walking on a very quiet road, beautiful views and so much more to see in the area which will keep on drawing us back to this site.

Outstanding in every way. Efficient and warm pre-stay communication and welcome on arrival.
Wonderful warm and clean modern facilities, hot showers and excellent sauna as a bonus.
The location is beautiful and peaceful, set in the midst of the Northumbrian hills and almost right on Hadrian’s Wall for those looking to explore it.
Can’t recommend it more highly.

One of the best sites that we have been to.
A brill bonus is that you could get a bath after a long hike up the Fells!
Nothing really to dislike except need to approach from above as very nasty hills coming from A69 area.
