Had to cut short our stay here but we were there long enough to be sufficiently impressed to want to return some time.
A relatively small site. We had one of the 3 fully serviced hard standing pitches which was a bit limited in length - our 7. 2ms motorhome only just fitted on - but of adequate width.
We did not use the toilet/shower block so cannot comment upon it. There is a dog walk on site which is basically a track fenced off so at least you can let your dog off the lead.
The main attraction of the site is its location within walking distance of Haltwhistle although it is quite a climb on the way back but it is a nice walk across the fields. Alternatively, you can catch the bus back which stops outside the site entrance and which you can also catch to places along Hadrian’s Wall which is only a short distance away ( again which can be walked ).

Where do I start. It’s been the first time we have brought the 3 children to this site and we can’t thank them enough. Their hospitality is second to none! And have went above and beyond to ensure that my 10 year old non verbal autistic boy had just as much fun as my other children during activities the whole stay.
From feeding the animals, arts and crafts, and the allocation of our pitch (right next to the park to ensure we could supervise with giving freedom)
Ordered the beautiful home made pizzas on our first night and they were cooked to our requirements as asked for, my son who has to have it cooked a certain way and advised it would be no issue at all, to return them to reception and they would be cooked till they were perfected.
All staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to help, asking for suggestions in anyways to improve things for children like Archie.
The site is immaculate, well kept,
Toilets And showers (with baths) are 5* and the views are unbelievable.
This is our favourite site and will be booking up more from now on.

Beautiful site and very clean facilities. Staff are very friendly. Our 4 year old loved feeding the animals on site and learning about them and playing in the play area.
Lovely touch of pizza made on site and delivered to your pitch very nice. Would def recommend. Haltwhistle have a leisure centre with open air pools brilliant for warm weather.
We didn’t really venture off site much but plenty of walks to do around the area. Bus stop straight outside site as well.

What a great site. Lovely views & location especially if you are walking Hadrian s wall, big level pitch, very clean showers and toilets. Had pizza from the farm 1st night; wouldn't exactly say they are world class as described, but it saved cooking for the night and they were tasty.
Otherwise Haltwhistle has everything you need for a few days, and the outdoor pools at the local leisure centre are brilliant if the weather is good.
Excellent park on site for under12s, and cute animals for all ages! Had a quick peek around pods and bell tents and they looked great. Will definitely return.

Loved the animals which kept the kids entertained along with the playground. Toilets and showers warm, clean and modern.
Music playing while you shower. Bit windy but not a problem. Close to lots of things to visit.
Glamping pods with hot tubs looked fun too.

Just returned from a very pleasant 4 night stay at this lovely little site. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities are top class.
The showers are hot and water is plentiful and there is underfloor heating to keep your tootsies warm when you are getting dryed. There are 3 small lockers in the toilet block which come in handy to place your clean clothes, phone etc in when showering.
There is a unisex sauna which can be hired at £15 an hour and there are also family bathrooms which are a great addition. The glamping pods looked well laid out and most had hot tubs in a small private area to the side of the pod.
There is also a BBQ hut which can be hired and I am sure would prove popular with grouos of campers or if a few families had rented pods together.
The kids loved the animals and were allowed to help at feeding times. Be warned though that there is a donkey which loves to bray loudly at about 730 each morning.
The on site shop is somewhat limited but there is a Sainsburys and Co Op half a mile down the hill. On Haltwhistle. They do a homemade pizza service which can be ordered and delivered to your pitch when ready.
All of the touring pitches are hardstanding and are very generous in size and all have electric. There are 3 super pitches with water and waste at the rear but they do not offer any more space.
The area is remote but there is plenty to do. Especially if you like walking. There is Hadrians wall, the Roman Army museum, Haltwhistle outdoor pools and more.
A great little site. Would visit again.

Stayed here for two nights on our way home to Kent from Scotland. What a beautiful site with lovely owners at check in and friendly wardens during our stay. The toilet block is modern and absolutely spotless, as was the site. Loved the animals, especially the piggy - take it he is a pet and not for the market! Pub down road looked good but didn't get opportunity to try it out - maybe next time?
Weather was wet and windy but it stayed dry long enough for us to do a walk to Hadrian's Wall - he didn't manage to keep this Scot out !

Wonderful site! Small, but fairly flat/level, with plenty of space on the pitches. Really nice facilities (possibly could do with more space in shower cubicles), and no push buttons for showers! Hot water while you want it - lovely. Animals on site include alpacas, goats, chickens, rabbits, donkeys (noisy - bray regularly!) And a pony; also a pig but seems to sleep non-stop? One piece of advice - take plenty of midge/insect repellant - swarms of the little pests each evening into dusk. Road up from haltwhistle definitely not for caravans, but the old 'military road' gives great access for caravans and/or very large motorhomes.

Very difficult to fault but so it should be as it was the most expensive site on a 7 night tour of Northumbria and the Borders; £4 more than Caravan Club. Immaculate facilities, decent shop and friendly service.
Motorhome pitches were a good size and well spaced. However, I would not have wanted a pitch close to the glamping pods. Drinking and noise until after midnight despite a clear expectation about keeping the noise down after 11pm. I suppose this is what you get when you cater for everything. Tents; caravans; motorhomes; pods; tipis and a luxury lodge.
It is in a really good location and I would still thoroughly recommend a visit.
