Tranquil and peaceful site set in a farmland location. Site has its own fishing lake a short walk down a track which is lovely for a quiet stroll. Pitch sizes were good with shading behind from the trees. Toilet block is first class with full electric showers with removable hose/shower head, varying heat and a very generous 15 minute timer. It was exceptionally clean and checked regularly by the owners through the day. Access to the site is via a key code gate and for everyday use a height/width restricted gate. Absolutely lovely site. If there was to be an improvement an off lead area for dogs would be helpful. But we enjoyed our stay here and hope to return.

This is a delightful and secure site with superb facilities, maintained at all times by welcoming and friendly owners. There are footpaths from the farm and others close by as well as a track down to the lake, which made the perfect evening walk. We had two days before the bank holiday weekend when it was very quiet and our third night was the Friday of the BH weekend, when it was almost full but it remained peaceful and we never had to queue for the facilities. We then moved onto a Camping and Caravan Club site, where we were snarled at by a member of staff. Instantly wished we’d stayed at Bishop’s Green!

Ideally located site just south of Newbury. Very quiet and well maintained. The facilities are exceptional. Very friendly owners make you welcome on arrival and the site is secure with strict gate control. Vehicular access is maintained 24/7 by a restricted width gateway. Pitches were clearly marked and easy to park vans on. All the pitches had hook up and there were even hook up points for the tent pitches as well. The toilets and shower facilities are exceptional with outside wash up facilities should they be needed. Waste disposal point was very easy to use with tap and hose provided. Clean tidy at all times and well kept. Constant checks by the owners ensured that the standards were maintained throughout our stay. We had been booked here by organisers of a large event at Greenham Common but we have added it to our own list of sites that we would definitely recommend or use ourselves again when in the Newbury area.

This site was OK - a standard large field with units around the sides, nothing special in the way of a view but it did have a new, modern and very clean shower block. It was let down by the electric showers which use a lot of energy.
Very good location to visit Highclere Castle which was why we booked it. Thought it rather pricey at £20 per night. Especially when compared with our next stop - £17 a night fully serviced pitch and a fabulous view to the Dorset coastline.

Me and my mate decided to take our 11&12 year olds overnight camping and fishing after a discussion that we have not done this for 30 years and getting fed up with the boys on their Xbox, iPhone etc. And achieving very little during the summer holidays. It's time they went cold turkey and experience how boys enjoyed themselves in the summer before the digital revolution!
Spent some time looking for somewhere basic (no TV, club house, wi-fi electric hook up etc) that allowed us old school fishermen to spend some quality time, quietly with our lads. Stumbled across this great place. Very small and very quiet with a well stocked carp lake a few minutes walk from the site. The owners were very welcoming and excited for us on our adventure. The place was very clean and tidy and great value for money. When it came to the fishing, Nick the owner was very trusting. Pay as you go and stick the money in an envelope and put it through the door of the 'dog house' when you leave.
It absolutely tipped it down from almost the moment we had set up to the time we left. Had a fantastic time and caught lots of fish (toddlers through to a couple of woppers! - I think somehow that we may be back very soon.

Excellent and very well kept site. We stayed on our way home following our first experience in a motorhome and this was definitely the best site we found. Lovely peaceful spot with spotlessly clean facilities and welcoming owner. I'm sure we will be back!

Stayed for a weekend with friends. The site is very clean and the facilities were fab. The only down side and the reason we will not be returning is the fact that children and their 'noise' are not really welcome. There was a field we were told they can play in but they were even told to be quiet in that field too by residents. The owner also asked for them to keep the noise down. We realise the site is mainly used by older folk who like peace whilst camping. There was a wood for them to play in and they used this for 90% of the time. You try keeping 5 kid's under 10 quiet for 2 days. (not going to happen). May also worth mentioning the ground is very hard and we bent many a tent peg. Not mentioned in other reviews.

Our first visit to Bishops green Farm.
The campsite is kept very clean by Nick the owner. The site is very pleasant and peace full. The toilets and shower block were always kept clean and tidy. Washing facilities were also good with plenty of hot water. There is lake approx 5 mins walking distance. Which was good for fishing, myself catching several good carp and roach. There is a small convenience shop just outside the camp.
Nice pubs in the local area, but a bit to far to walk. Good walking and cycling in the area. Also we visited High Clere House where Downton Abbey was filmed which is about 4 miles away.
A very pleasant four days.

We stayed on this campsite for one night at each end of our holiday to break our travelling. A beautifully clean site with excellent toilet and shower facilities. Not far from local town with supermarkets and railway links - we've started researching the area with a view to going back to the site soon for a few days this time.

Just spent a lovely 5 days at this site - our 2nd visit - and
Weather just perfect. Mr Smith runs a very welcoming and clean site - good size pitches - excellent toilet and
Shower block - dog friendly and good walks down to fishing lake.
Local Village Shop with essentials. Easy access to Site.

Within easy reach.
Highly recommend.
