Lovely well cared for site, peaceful and well organised.
Enjoyed the walk into Whitchurch along the canal ( 40 minutes)
Will definitely be returning.
You can simply sit and watch the boats navigate the locks.
Very chilled out.

Great little campsite overlooking the Llangollen canal.
We were welcomed by Tom who guided us to our pitch and showed us where everything is. Kevin came along a few minutes later to provide some other helpful advice and places to visit.
The site is quiet with only 5 pitches in the front part and another 5 or 6 in the "overflow" field next door. It is within easy distance of some great walks including a 30 minute walk to Whitchurch along the canal and a 40 minute canal walk in the other direction to the Willeymoor Lock Tavern.
There is a toilet block with separate rooms for men and ladies though there is only one shower which is in the ladies room. However this is available for all to use. And it is a good one!
There is a chemical waste disposal point but no laundry sink as advertised. Not that that bothered us too much.
Tom and Kevin couldn't have been more helpful at all times.
Overall it was a lovely 3 day stay so we would definitely recommend it and hopefully return one day.

What a site! Tom the owner was very helpful via email in the booking process, £20 per night.
Our Son and his partner visited and stayed one night no charge for them or the extra car. On arrival we were greeted by Kev who manages the site for Tom.
Site right next to the canal flat site and only small.
The toilets 1, ladies 1, shower 1 in the ladies. Works well!
Very laid back site we had two dogs which were playing with Kevs dog and the dog in the van next door.
There’s a pub nearby we didn’t visit. Lovely walks on the canal both ways. Whitchurch is a 5 minute drive away. We visited the canal aqueduct near Llangollen, amazing place. We also went to Ellesmere again lovely place.
There’s a pub on the canal it’s around a 40 minute walk or a 10 minute drive it’s on a lock, we had beer but no food it looked really tasty.
The fuel station just down the road is cheaper than most so try and fill up before you travel home!
Overall great site well looked after and very chilled! Certainly return one day!

Lovely quiet campsite.
Every pitch had a view of the canal, so even though the weather was not so good at times there was always something to watch.
Facilities were adequate for our needs as we mostly use our own onboard facilities.
The price of the site was very reasonable. Plenty of walking and nearby bus stop.
Lovely owner who told us everything we needed to know.
Will certainly be going here again.

What can we say? A lovely site and a wonderful host.
Tom’s welcome was so warm, he clearly enjoys running this small, perfectly located site.
So peaceful, we extended our stay.
