Lovely location. Relax and watch the barges go past on the beautiful Llangollen canal.

A peaceful site but some road noise at night (not very noisy though) probably because we were in a pop top van.

Tom the owner is very helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely lovely spot overlooking the canal. There are two toilets and one shower which are basic but clean.

This doesn’t bother us as we have our own facilities.

The grass pitches were a bit soggy due to a lot of rain.

We did get bogged down but Tom the owner soon pulled us out. Tom is a great character and very resourceful.

We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.

Access to the canal towpath is a short walk from the entrance where there is a cafe.

A five to ten minute walk (depending on your mobility) along the towpath takes you to a pub serving excellent food and real ales.

This site has a lovely location right next to the canal.

There is no hard standing. Unfortunately it had rained a lot & we got stuck in the mud. Tom, who owns the site got us out & positioned us on some hard ground. Tom is a lovely man & runs the site well.

Only 1 shower block each, but they are very very clean. Very quiet basic site, just what we like.

We will return in drier weather 👍

A lovely peaceful spot, right on the canal and perfect for cycling / walking along the canal.

Tom was so friendly and helpful- above and beyond expectations.

Just beware, there’s no hard standing, and we had to be towed off the grass.

Thank you so much Tom

We found the site very friendly beautifully kept

A real pleasure to stay on the site

A great field to take George for a run

You get access to the seven by the lock.

Would have been nice if they had had a small shop or a coffee shop where you could meet and chat to the others.

Lovely setting with wonderful views of the canal and locks.

Tom the owner keeps the grass cut short and all the cuttings are collected.

A very peaceful and restful stay. Recycling on site.

Toilet and shower facility kept clean.
