Although only stayed one night, we thought the campsite was lovely.
Small site situated next to the canal. Very quiet and peaceful.
Facilities small but functional.
In the morning, we ventured out for a walk along the canal with our dog.
Lovely looking cafe although it was closed as was too early.
We would definitely stay again for a couple of nights to explore the area.

This is a little gem of a campsite. We were greeted by Denise who took us to our pitch and helped us site our MH.
The pitches are well spaced and the grass was freshly mowed.
The showers were well worth the 50p needed and like the toilets were always spotless.
The entire site was beautifully kept, bordered by trees with plenty of birdsong.
Being alongside the canal with direct access to the towpath with a short stroll along to a cafe where we sat and watched the boats was ideal.
There is a bus stop outside the gate where we caught the bus to Whitchurch and a pub across the road with a good menu.
Denise and her husband were great hosts, always with a smile, helpful advice and time to chat.
This is a site that we would love to return to, peace and quiet adults only!
