This is the 5th year my sister & our 2 girls have visited here. Jacqui & Penny are both friendly & very welcoming.
The site is lovely, not over crowded with decent size pitches. No worrying about the size of your tent like some sites.
Showers always clean & warm. Considering there are only 2 (ladies) I’ve never had to queue.
Our 2 girls always make lots of friends while staying here & never want to leave.
Roll on next year when we can visit again.

Site nice and clean and easy to find.
Close to Fakenham. Little road noise but did not spoil our stay.
Staff very helpful. Loved it would return in the future.

Excellent, friendly welcome. Best pitch we’ve been on with plenty of space all around and bushes / trees added for a bit of privacy. The whole site felt very peaceful.
Toilets and showers spotless! According to other regulars, the on-site coffee shop has brilliant homemade cakes but was shut due to covid.
We haven’t given a rating for child friendly but ‘neighbours’ said they love staying in the back field for families with their grandchildren near the play equipment and large field to play in.
The owners gave us an alternative route to cycle into Fakenham using quieter roads. Great position to join Nat Cycle Route 1.
Lovely rides to Wells next to the sea via Walsingham and to Burnham Market via Holkham Park.
First site so far that we’d love to go back to!

Fab little site with a friendly welcome from Jacqui.
Plenty of space for me to grab a couple of peaceful days in Norfolk, just a few miles from Wells next the Sea.
They were very flexible with my arrival and departure times, which helped me make the most of my visit to the seaside.
Will definitely stay again.
(Child/family area was closed, so cannot rate).

A very friendly site, we were greeted on arrival and everything was explained to us about COVID-19 rules,
We had a fantastic stay, and would seriously consider booking again,
A big thank you to Penny and Jacqui for your help.

From the booking right through to departure this was a lovely experience. The site is spotless and kept well.
Covid precautions were cleverly applied to make us feel safe.
Convenient for lots of local attractions and five minutes from the town centre but still nice and quiet.

Nice campsite with a playground for kids. Good measures in place to deal with covid.
Frequent aeroplanes go over the campsite during the day and in to the evening. The nearby road is also quite loud. But both the road and planes didn't bother the kids at night.
Good location for visiting different beaches, about 20 or 30 minute drive.

We spent a week here and thought the site was great - it had good toilet and shower facilities as well as a washing-up area with lots of hot water and EHUs.
It was very conveniently situated for exploring the area; we visited several coastal resorts between Cromer and Hunstanton. Brancaster beach is lovely, with lots of space for ball games if you have children. There's not an awful lot in Fakenham itself but it has a nice Wetherspoons (The Limes)and two supermarkets.
Have a ride out to The Duck Inn at Stanhoe for a lovely lunch.
The site was also very reasonably priced, compared with some sites in the area.
There was minimal road noise from the A148 but that wouldn't stop us returning in future.

This my second visit to this site, first time Aug 2016. Brilliant site + this year with more play equipment + fire pits to hire. There is EHU but we don't use it. People who run it are very friendly + helpful. Pitches are a nice decent size unlike some sites were the owners try to cram you in like cattle which I'm sure is a fire hazard. Shower/toilet block is kept clean + considering there is only 2 showers me + my family didn't seem to have a problem using them. There is plenty to do in the area with Pensthorpe Nature Reserve less than 10 minutes drive away, great place for kids! There are a few large supermarkets in the town approx 5 minutes drive away + plenty of high street shops. With so much do in Norfolk I will hopefully be making a third visit next year.
