Just spent 5 days at Fairfield and it really is a truly wonderful campsite. The owners and all the staff (family) made us feel so welcome from start to finish.
Always clean and tidy grounds with lots of space in between pitches and enough room for everyone to have privacy. Lovely play area for children with lots of space to run around.
The toilets and showers were always clean and warm. Nice powerful shower too.
The washing up area, again, was always clean with hot and cold water and sheltered.
You must have a go in the on site pitch and putt or driving range whilst there. It's great fun and they can provide golf clubs.
There's a tea room there too serving the tastiest cake, all homemade.
You are really only a maximum of 40 minutes from exploring North Norfolk from this site, so it's an idea base. We fitted in lots in a day. Wells is a lovely beach where you can also go crabbing in the port and have pancakes on a pirate ship!
There's small shops close by with a great fish and chip shop (Drifters). And the larger supermarkets also not far.
The site is an absolute credit to the owners. 10/10 at least. We will return without doubt.

Have just spent 6nights at this site, had a great time. Very friendly and helpful. Toilet block very clean. Really nice coffee shop and nice home made cakes. Local shops close by and major stores as well. Cant say about play area as it was very quiet and I did not have children with us. I look forward to going back to this site.

What a fantastic place to stay! Not only were the owners charming, friendly, incredibly helpful and generous, the site itself was quiet and peaceful and a great base to do plenty of riding out to neighbouring villages, towns and the coast. As we have a camper with a leisure battery we didn't need a hook up it was there if needed.
Toilet block- The toilets and showers were immaculately clean, modern, and spacious ( always a bonus when carrying cycling clobber) Also the toilet paper was of really good quality which is a personal bonus too! The showers especially had lots of hanging hooks so nothing need touch the floor. Also the hot water was marvelous and abundant!
Lastly-With regards to other comments about this campsite being basic, it truly is far from being basic! As we have a camper our need for a toilet/shower block are greater than of caravaners and it truly didn't disappoint. If you ever did find yourself waiting for a shower cubicle then we suggest you pop into the cafe next door and have another cuppa, and relax because you are on your holiday! :-) :-) :-)
Recycling-lots of recycling bins and the whole refuse area was easy to navigate and again, very very clean.
Thank you for such a brilliant stay, we will definitely stay again when we are back in North Norfolk
Until next time. The cycling campers!

Enjoyed our short break here, site was very quiet throughout our stay. Well placed to enjoy North Norfolk, however toilet and shower facilities were a little basic for us. Could be improved, only two showers, there was no hairdryer or socket to use one, also they were a little nippy in the mornings. That said its a basic site well kept with friendly wardens and was ok for the short stay we had, would possibly return for a short break.

This was our first trip away in our caravan and the site and staff made it a perfect start to caravanning.
We were met with a very warm welcome and this hospitality always remained a strength during our stay.
We have three children ranging from 2 - 8 years and they could all spend hours amused on the immaculate grounds in a safe and friendly environment.
The site itself is perfectly positioned to enjoy all aspects of North Norfolk, all being no more than 30 mins away. We stayed there for two weeks and could quite happily shade another month.
Our highlights were;
Seal trip from Morston,
Wells beach and train ride
Playing in the grounds of Pensthorpe
Feeding the deer at snettisham farm park
Every pub and eating establishment - they are all great! Particularly The Pigs and Eric's
A fabulous place to stay. - we will be back

Fantastic little site. If we're in the area again we'll be back here.
Staff really helpful and friendly. Grass level and well maintained. Plenty of hot water in showers, washing up area, all spotlessly clean. Plenty of hookups.
Was nice to have the coffee shop with WiFi.
Lots of places to visit nearby. Pensthorpe nature reserve, Wells, Holkham.
Very quiet and peaceful. Recommended.

I only have one point to make and it is to do with the shower/toilet block. It was well kept but with only two showers and two toilets in the gents and two showers and four toilets in the ladies I suspect that, when all 50 pitches are full, there will be a fair amount of queuing. Other than that we liked the site, it was well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would certainly use it again.

My Husband and I have just returned home from a 5 night stay at Fairways Caravan & Camping site Fakenham. We were made very welcome on arrival by friendly welcoming owners. The layout was spacious and beautifully kept pitches. Facilities were kept very clean at all times and a log fire was burning in reception for all who would like to take advantage and have a coffee. The site was an easy walk into the town of Fakenham be it on the main road and a bus could then be court to most places in the North Norfolk aria.
We will be back.

This is a nice quite site. The pitches are flat and spacious. The toilet block is adequate but could do with updating and making disable friendly. The dog walk is a bit near a busy road which could do with a speed limit on it, we saw a few car going that fast thay nearly lost control. The staff are very helpful. It is a good location to explore North Norfolk and coastal area.
We will visit again.
