Did what it said on the tin. Basic but nice walk towards river. Welly walk 10 minutes away.

Owners extremely helpful. Helped solve my problem with my wrong 240v hook up.

Following morning towed a fellow campervaner out who got stuck in mud. Entertainment!

Loved the atmosphere of the place. As soon as we arrived we felt welcome.

The bell tent that we stayed in was already nice and warm for our arrival which was a nice touch. Beds really comfy, hot water bottles provided was great. Minor criticism would be the lack of a mirror in the bell tent.

Besides that thought I had no complaints whatsoever about the experience we had at Catgill Farm and would recommend others to go here.

Pubs and other villages are only walking distance away, 15-20 mins max. If you want to go further afield then skipton and Ilkley are only a short drive away.

Wow this pretty much sums up our whole experience. Right from the off we were made very welcome from check in till check out nothing was a problem.

Dragonfly glamping pod was out of this world with the facilities of a hot tub and the outdoor fire pit for the marsh mellows was unreal

We absolutely loved this place and will be back over and over what a way to spend our anniversary. Thank you catgill

Had a brilliant wk end in the glamping pod.

Could do with a mirror somewhere other than the bathroom and I think for the price that you pay this should include the equipment to light the hot tub

But other than that it was the perfect stay

Lovely clean and spacious site set in magnificent surroundings. All facilities were spotless and inviting eg. Toilet block was warm and well laid out.

Reception was friendly and simple and we were told that since there was no one coming to our spot on the day we left, we could stay until much later in the day. Why don’t more sites do this?!

We would definitely come again.

Thank you

We absolutely loved our stay at cat hill in the luxury bell tent!

It really is luxury. The bed and duvet were the finest and softest. I slept so well here.

We loved the hot tub. Perfect way to watch the sunset and keep warm! Was even warm the following morning.

There was so much space in the bell tent and the lighting created a perfect ambience.

Plenty of drawers to store clothes etc.

Fan heater if required.

Plenty of power sockets to charge electricals.

Hairdryer also available in the toilet/shower area which was a bonus.

We really did not want to leave but the morning and check out was made all the better by Daniel in the coffee shop serving warm croissants and pain au chocolat. Coffee was also excellent.

This really is a perfect campsite for families, couples, and we would recommend the luxury bell tents for a special celebration. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve just returned from a one night stay in the bell tent. Have to say everything was perfect from the warm welcome

We received on arrival. The tent is fully equipped with everything you need and is decorated to a very high standard and is lovely and cosy.

The hot tub was just perfect. Will definitely be paying another visit soon 😀

 Mixed experience for us.

Cons:-

1. Only 3 male toilets for such a big site with more than 50 tents. Not sufficient. I woke up at 6 every morning so I could use the toilets before it got busy.

2. Only the electric pitches are marked. For non-electric pitch you need to find your own space.

3. Most of the campsite is not flat - was really surprised at that. Most of it is on a slope.

4. The road through the campsite was really muddy.

5. You couldn't park yr car next to your tent. The parking (2 car parks) past the toilet block is too far away.

Pros:-

1. Toilets were clean and well maintained.

2. Washing facilities and fridge freezer facilities are very good and adequate.

3. There is a cafe which only opens in the morning for a few hours (i didn't use it).

4. There is a shop on-site, don't know what is sells (i didn't use it).

5. The best thing is its proximity to Bolton Abbey.

I doubt I will go there.

My main problems are unmarked pitches on a SLOPE.

Really enjoyed our stay here - nice pitches (yes, there are areas are on a slope and I wouldn't want to be on those, but we were on a flat one) - morning croissants are amazing and great value (£1) and fire baskets are a must.

Great location only 1km from Bolton Abbey, and a farm for kiddies almost opposite. Billy Bobs also within 5 mins. Good washing up area also with 2 fridges and a freezer

In terms of improvement - there are only 4 showers/toilets which is a bit limited (we stayed on Aug back holiday where it was packed) - maybe its only at the peak weekends this is a challenge but another block would have been helpful. I'd arrive earlier to avoid pitching on a slope.

But overall - would definitely recommend!
