Lovely location but no play area or facilities for children of any age,
staff could be a bit more helpful too, showed a general lack of interest both on the phone and in person.

Beautifully kept site with lovely views and a great choice of pitches. We've got a large tent and wanted a flat pitch with hookup: no problem.
The facilities were some of the cleanest I've had the pleasure to use, and if they did get a bit muddy when the site filled up at the weekend, it wasn't long before they were clean again.
There is a nice shop with essentials - but in my view it was a bit heavy on the sweeties and chocolate. We took our own firebasket (on legs) and really enjoyed having a camp fire using wood bought on site.
It's a short walk to Bolton Abbey (gorgeous) and to the steam railway station, from where you can catch a train and get off close to Skipton.
The many walks from the site are superb, with moorland, rolling hills, meadows, rivers and waterfalls in very close reach.
We had a fantastic stay and can highly recommend Catgill Farm.

Fantastic site, great location, really lovely friendly staff, brilliant facilities including a lovely coffe shop on site,
Can’t wait to re visit. The staff even lent us a pan so we could cook breakfast and an air pump !

Beautiful site with nice facilities and coffee and croissant in the morning.
However, we are unlikely to ever return. It was overcrowded, incredibly noisy with a poorly enforced noise curfew. The fire pits are a lovely idea but inevitably meant a lot of smoke everywhere and encouraged a huge amount of noise very late into the evening.
Main issues were: overcrowding and noise +++.

We have just returned from 3 great nights at Catgill. They really have thought of everything! Electric hook ups, warm showers, microwave, kettle, wash up area, coffee and pastries until 9:30am, on site shop.
The walks around the site are fantastic and it’s so close to the Abbey. It was our second visit and we are looking to book again very soon! 😎

My third visit, I love this site. Very well run and good fields to camp with lovely views.
Facilities are regularly cleaned and in a good state of repair.
My only observation and it is in no way a criticism, I think that maybe as the site has grown, there’s not enough toilets and showers.
I know my stay would be described as peak time, but I did try to avoid the busiest times and found I was still queuing for the shower and toilet.
The location is perfect, 15 min walk to the ruins and start of a few walks

We have just returned from a 2 night 3
Day stay at Catgill Campsite in the Glamping pod Duck - what can I stay but wow - 5star all the way, lovely welcoming reception, well maintained grounds, sign posted well. Excellent location and facilities (all this before we even get the to pod) I travelled with my husband, and 2 daughters aged 3 & 6 with it being May the weather was mixed but it did not matter.
We took plenty of good quality waterproofs and the pod had everything else hot tub, central heating, double head power shower, WiFi - all the standard stuff you expect from camping lol
I am normally a little disappointed when I get somewhere as our family time away is so preclude that I build things up - Catgill did not disappoint, we paid £10 to park in Bolton abbey as we could not check in till 3pm - what a waste the site is just a 10/15 Minute walk do hill to the abbey.
The Pod was beautiful, well decorated, everything we needed; we are already looking at going back next year with friends booking into the other pods. Advice don’t leave the central heating on at night, the pod is so well Insulated it was like a sauna and be patience with the hot tub heating up (3 bags is enough) we used 5 and could not get in it till the second day it was so hot .

Our first camping experience with family, despite the grotty weather had a fab time, great site, people and facilities.
Would definitely recommend, kids loved it and we will definitely be camping again. This is a great location to visit.

A wonderful site in a breathtaking setting!
We are so pleased to have found this gem! A truly tranquil, well-equipped, clean, friendly site.
The option to hire a fire pit is a lovely bonus and the fact that you can walk/cycle straight from the site to fabulous walks and countryside.
We loved it! Thank you.

A well maintained site on a beautiful farm with panoramic views of the Dales. Easy to check in with very friendly and helpful site staff.
Good pitches. 15 minute walk to the stunning Bolton Abbey and stepping stones. Great pubs and walks nearby.
On site facilities very clean. Could maybe do with a few more loos/showers.
Fresh coffee and croissants/pain au chocolate available in the morning- absolutely delicious! Really enjoyed our stay here.
