Just had a fantastic 10 nights at Captain Bluebell's. The site, at the moment, has more tent pitches than caravan pitches. The washing and toilet facilities were spotless for our 10 night stay, even on the busy weekends, John and his team make every effort to ensure that the facilities are clean for all visitors. The site is ideal for campers and caravanners who want a quiet break in the countryside, although the busy seaside resorts of Chapel St Leonard's and Skegness are only a short drive away. There is a strict 'no unnecessary noise after 10. 00pm' rule and this was kept to at the time of our stay, this meant that families could settle down for the night could do so at a reasonable time. Will be visiting again in the near future.

A fantastic break yet again. Cheers John your a legend. Coming back very soon. Thank Sarah for the cleanliness of the facilities, she's an angel. Great place for small kids and big ones too. Give it a go. Loved the chickens and ducks, but the alpacas are a big favourite of the kids. Thanks John and Sarah. See you soon xxxxxxxx

Brings the fun to camping. Super to be surrounded by llamas, ducks, cats, dogs, chickens, goats etc. Yet we still had Wi-fi, and a toaster. If you liked Famous Five you'll love this place. A beach just a few miles away is useful too. The owners are most helpful and are progressing with more interesting schemes for the site. There are cafes, pubs etc a short drive away and I would definitely recommend a trip to Gunby Hall.

Stayed here for the August bank holiday and really enjoyed our first camping break. It is quite a large site and John and Sara are very friendly and on hand to give advice about the area etc. Good clean toilets/shower areas. Nice and quiet site and plenty for my 3 yr old daughter to do. Lovely to see the animals on site also. Like I said, really enjoyed our first camping weekend and will be doing it again and will return to this site.

We booked on this site for 7 nights and ended up staying 9. Great site for kids. Very clean facilities. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back. My grandson loved it. He loved been able to go see the animals. There is a great beach nearby. A microwave you can us on site. The shower and toilet block was lovely and clean at all times.

Just come back from our holidays, as before we stayed at bluebell farm, last year john and sarah took over as new owners, so when we got there this year they have turned the site around, better toilets, and more shower units, they have worked hard to get where they are now. The site as a little shop selling milk pop and sweets. They is some animals on the farm for the kids can see. They is a bus to Skegness or mablethorpe, they is a pub in next village axe&clever which owner will pick you up and return you to campsite.
Overall this is a great family friendly campsite.

Great site to visit. John and Sara very helpful. Would recommend this site to anyone. Especially families with kids. John has updated the shower. Superbly. The kids loved going around the site checking if the hens had laid any eggs. Much improved site and recommend to any person. The kids can't wait to return next year to see what other animals are there. And to see what else has been added to the site.
