This is our 3rd or 4th visit to this site & glad to find nothing much has changed. Owners are still friendly, it's still nice & quiet & a well kept little site.
Toilets/shower OK. Kept clean which is most important. Can be a wait if the site is a bit busier than normal.
Only downside is other campers. If your dog fouls then pick it up. Don't leave it on the grass outside ours or anyone else's tent. It's gross!
Nice to see they've added a little shop where you can buy snacks etc and what's even nicer is no silly price mark ups!
Its a site that does what it says on the tin. No frills but friendly, neat & tidy & conveniently placed!

I am fairly new to motorhome travelling and only visited a few sites. But bluebell farm was the best site so far for our needs. We take our 2 golden retrievers with us they loved it. 2 mile walk to the beach but lovely dog friendly, the site the best dog friendly we have visited, don't charge for dogs like some, owners are very helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower block not 5 star but not paying 5 star money, the site clean and spacious, small shop for your bits and bobs. Would I go back. The answers quite simple deffo there are a few pubs near, the red lion very nice.

Bluebell farm is a great little working farm, the kids can help with the feeding, the site is very clean, they is a little shop on site to get mainly milk and crisps & sweets for the kids.
There is no playground for the kids but safe for them to run around.
The staff & the couple that own the farm are always there to help, they come round every day to see if everything is ok.
The only downside of the site is the toilets & showers, do need a up grade (but it does not spoil the holiday).
We will return to the farm again to stay, because its clean friendly value for money, plenty of pitch space and its in between skegness and mablethorpe (short walk to bus stop).
They clean the toilets & showers every day so they are always clean. They is a pub near by (red lion) which do good food 2 for 1 price.

It was a last minute booking, other places were full, this was less than half filled. A mixture of tents and caravans. Handy if you had a car to travel as not much in walking distance.
Field with some farm animals fenced near by.
Bit of a noisy site if you was in a tent.
The toilet block was not very clean. To the point of preferring to use toilets in public houses than on site.

Management response: Please note this site is now under new ownership and reviews prior to August 2014 relate to the previous owners (and the previous name Bluebell Farm Certificated Site) and many improvements have been made since, as you will see from up to date reviews. |

Chose this site as it was a short notice bank holiday and they had space. This site is fine if you have a caravan or motorhome but the facilities are not good if you are in a tent. Dirty floors and walls in the ladies (the loo itself was clean) with intermittent shower and no hot water at all in the men's meant a less than comfortable stay. Site was also quite noisy.

Had a fabulous over night stay hear. The site is basic, very cheep, spotlessly clean and well maintained.
There is a small on-site shop (mainly for the horse riding fraternity) and the owners/staff are really friendly and polite.
There are basic, but nice toilet and shower facilities, a crockery washing area, ample rubbish bins and a receptacle for porta loo emptying.
Several pitches had electric hook ups and all pithces are of a good size.
Horses are a plenty here, which my kids loved meeting and petting. Would be good if they could offer riding lessons or sessions, that is the opinion of my elder 2 boys anyhow.
The nearest pub is about a mile n a half and its about 2 miles to a beautiful beach.

Just had a great time here. The kids loved the horses, and we even got a see a newborn foal. The free pony rides was a big selling feature when I was choosing a campsite.
It was good that the tents outnumbered the caravans. Staff friendly and helpful. A small shop with a few sweets etc. The nearest proper shop was a good 15min walk, however I saw two fighting weasels on the way. The local beach is very good, nice sand and sand dunes.
The downsides are noisy road nearby, limited shop, basic shower.
I will certainly be going back.

Just returned from bluebell farm. Because it was a bank holiday we were forced to pay for the full three nights, which worked our bad as we only stayed for one in the end. So £36 for one night not real value for money.
The campsite has apparently had a shower and toilet block revamp 'amazing' it was not. All they have done is swap over the mens and ladies.
One toilet, one sink and one shower, in the mens so as you can imagine we were waiting a while.
Washing up facilities were poor, two luke warm taps.
Not value for money, not a revamped toilet block, no hot water and in the middle of nowhere, will not be returning

Just back from 2 weeks touring England and spent 2 nights at this site. Really well kept with good size pitches.
Toilets, now were do I start. 1 loo 1 shower 1 sink not clean and in what is a run down old porter cabin. I don't mind basic but 1 for all the men .
Up side nice pub in Mumby good pint food a bit of a let down. Will not be back.

Just spent 2 nights at Bluebell Farm and had a fantastic stay. A lovely friendly and very welcoming site with a great little shop which is very reasonable unlike some overpriced ones.
Site nice clean and tidy with a few fixed caravans and a few electric hook ups available but mainly idea for tents. Plenty of space for the kids to play around and horses on site as well for those who like them. Great value with discounts given for C&CC members.
My only gripe was the toilets and shower bloke where although it was clean it just wasn't big enough, gents was 1 toilet and 1 shower and ladies was 1 toilet and 2 showers! we shared with 1 other mobile home, 4 caravans and around a 20 mixed sized tents so queing was the norm however they were free.
All in all a great site, near a couple fo little villages and only 7-8 miles from Skegness so well worth £10 a night for full electric hook up pitch, with awning.
