Just got back from 3 nights at this lovely little site. Friendly owners and great sized pitches, we had a drinking water point on ours which was handy. Has enough facilities to make this good for families, with a trampoline and playground. Set just outside Boston amongst fields of potatoes and brocolli, on a lane that was quiet for most of the day except for coming home from work time and the odd tractor. Entrance to the site is via a barrier for which you're given a fob when you check in.
The toilets and showers could do with a good going over with a brush and mop (not forgetting behind the toilet doors) and fitting with new shower heads as the current ones tend to blast the shower curtain in one jet rather than showering you and they're the annoying push button type. The site has good rubbish and recycling facilities. 2 large sinks for dishwashing.
Pitches are a choice of gravel, grass or a mixture of both. They're hedged and well kept.
Would return again if in the area.

Went to this site over New Year, barriered entrance, pull up and go to reception, owner friendly and gave us a choice of two pitches, left us to set up before we had to pay, we were on a fully serviced pitch, even though we were not geared up for this.
Small site with individual pitches with hedging on three sides, ideal protection from the wind that was predicted.
Facilities block consisted of two push button showers and toilets in both ladies and gents and a family bathroom, which was very spacious with a proper shower, the shower block could do with some refurbishment and had a dreadful smell of drains about it and was not very clean, hairs matted underneath the rubber mats in shower cubicles! There was also a laundry area with washer/tumble drier and washing up sinks in this block.
Small playground area for children.
Shop in village and local pub/restaurant nearby, but need a car to get about as nothing within walking distance.

This was the first time we had stayed here - we went with friends for a long weekend and were really pleased with the site. The owner and her partner were really welcoming and were always on hand if we needed to ask any questions or freeze our ice packs. We were given a welcome pack with information about the site, details on the surrounding area and a keyfob for the automated barrier.
The pitches are level and most are surrounded by hedges, so you have your own individual space - we took a six man tent and still had plenty of room to cook outside in our bay. There was a larger field further down the site, but this was being used for a 'wet weekend' for the kids.
The shower block has two toilets and two showers (ladies side)and were kept lovely and clean. Not the most modern showers, but lovely and warm with plenty of hooks to hang your clothes/towels up and a seat to sit on whilst you dry yourself. Although we stayed on the 'wet weekend', the kids were all well behaved - there is also a kids play area with swings and slides and they all seemed to kept themselves amused!
There was no shop on site, but that was no inconvenience to us, as we like to take our own stuff and Boston is only a short trip away if you should need to buy anything.
We visited various places whilst we were here, a day trip to Skegness and to Boston, both of which we really enjoyed. The market in Boston on Saturday was excellent.
Although we've probably finished camping for this year, we will definitely be visiting this site again - we really enjoyed our stay.

Another great visit to this super campsite - Excellent customer service and helpful advise and the children (and adults) enjoyed the Medieval event. Facilities are well maintained and the showers were always hot. A couple of extra washing up sinks would help when the site is busy as currently there is only two sinks, which caused a bit of a bottleneck during the bank holiday. Looking forwards to our next visit

I thought this site was lovely, the pitches were private with very well maintained hedges separating you from neighbours and lovely fruit trees round the site. The water and waste points easy to find and the owners very helpful.
The weekend we stayed there was a Teddy bears picnic, great for all the kids and very well organised with a quiz and colouring competition. There was a BBQ after that sold hot dogs etc.
The site had a lovely kids park and trampoline that was just behind the pitches so I could hear my son playing.
The only downside was the toilet block, I found it to be dirty and the shower heads covered in what I can only assume was lime scale as the water didn't come out in a straight jet.
Overall I thought this was a very nice site, perfect for families with children.

Made a late booking for a 2 night stay as the weather was supposed to be glorious. We were first timers to camping, with a new tent and arrived later than hoped, at 2030h but the owner told us to set up our tent before checking in. She later came to see if we were OK but by this stage we were anything but OK. Her partner took our tent details and checked on Google the best way to erect it then he and the owner promptly set about erecting it for us as it was readily becoming dark. Very, very helpful and patient!
The site itself was clean and well kept. The pitch was private with apple and cherry trees in full fruit - which we were told to help ourselves to. The cherries were so good, we even bought a jar of the owner's home made cherry jam. The washing up area was large enough, with running hot water and the toilet block and showers were kept clean.
The play area and trampoline were very useful as they kept my 11 year old daughter entertained. The signage around the site was also very clear and the lighting sufficient. There were laying hens with free range eggs available at a reasonable price. Just a short walk away was a Spar supermarket and within a very short drive there were many public houses.
The RSPB at Friston Shore, on The Wash, was worth the visit with signed paths for walking and huts for bird watching.
A lovely weekend was had, but unfortunately the weather did not turn out as expected.

Enjoyed a week at this lovely site. Very helpful owners. Showers clean and tidy at all times. A useful welcome information pack on arrival. Individual hard standing bays. Ideal site for discovering Lincolnshire. Would definitely recommend. There is a children's play area that for us was N/A but kids that were on site seemed to enjoy. If I had to be picky the showers were very clean but would benefit from an update.
Thanks for a great stay.

We broke down on the way to this site. One phone call to them and we were assured that if the rac couldn't fix it then it could be sorted by a local mechanic. They couldn't of been more helpful when we did arrive, cup of tea waiting for us and the rac man.
Very laid back, clean site, nice barbie on the sat night and stayed an extra night due to waiting for car to be fixed. Nothing was too much trouble.
Thanks to you both

Great little site, very well kept and a warm welcome from the owner. Fishtoft itself has little to offer but we ventured out on one of the walks suggested in the excellent welcome pack to the Pilgrims memorial on a cold but sunny day and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Even our old dog had a spring in her step in the meadow around the memorial itself. The fish and chip shop in Fishtoft village was a bit overrated but the clean facilities and wi-fi at the site were very welcome. We'll be back with bikes next time for a trip into Boston.
