Well what can I say. Brilliant site. Owners and warden were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very clean and tidy site. This was our 1st visit and will deff be returning !
Nice children's play area and also trampoline. Lots of benches dotted around and visitors also have the use of a Barbecue.
Lovely clean toilets, plenty of hot water. Theres also A lovely chippy just down the road !

The site is lovely, small quiet, well kept with delightful owners. The hens greet you when you arrive but soon lose interest. There is a small children's play area, with slide, swings and a 3ft scramble wall. Next to this is a trampoline (must be 12ft).
Dedicated sinks for washing up with hot water, loos and showers very clean, laundry area as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our night there and will be booking longer next time.
There is a separate camping field as well as grass and gravel pitches, which they allow tents on.

Agree with all positive comments on this site as regards peacefulness, cleanliness and welcoming site. In a secluded area just off the road surrounded by trees. The hens seem to be over inquisitive though with one or two entering the motorhome. Area flat so good for cycling,an hourly bus can be hailed at the campsite entrance to Boston, last bus back 1815. The local pub Red Cow 10 mins. Walk down the road will do food by prior arrangement with the landlady the night before and does local real ales. Two other pubs in Frieston that is possible to cycle to. Paid £17.50 a night for two with ehu.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights as I had been here before last year and remembered it for its' peacefulness. We weren't disappointed. The well-kept grounds are lovely and free-roaming chickens and cats notwithstanding, we really enjoyed our nights here.
Nightingale pitch is a really good 'secluded' spot for tents. Two minor comments, the gravel was really noisy to walk on at night when going to the toilet block. Perhaps having either a grassed path at the side or paving stones to walk on would be more sleeping-campers friendly. The other comment - I didn't realise birds were so loud in the morning!
Seriously though, we would really recommend this site to anybody, particularly families.

Lovely little campsite and a great find! Had a 3 night Easter break which the whole family enjoyed. The owners were very pleasant, sociable and offered help and assistance whenever required.
Loved the evening campfire and barbecue with the owners and campers as this proved to be a great ice-breaker and brought everyone together for a nice gathering.
The children's Easter Bonnet competition and the Easter Egg hunt were a brilliant idea which was thoroughly enjoyed by my own and other children.
This accompanied by the play area and roaming chickens which could be openly fed meant young children were actively entertained on site.
Will be going back as this is a lovely welcoming site which is great for a short, get away from it all break!

Pilgrims way is a great site with good facilities, the lady owner is very helpful and will even give you a hand to pitch your unit. Toilets and showers are very well kept. Plenty of water points. Half gravel half grass pitches which will be great in the drier weather. The site is very quiet even the pitches close to the road. Dog exercising can be done in the next lane 100metres from site. The pub in the village is called brown cow about a ten minute walk, dog friendly, no food. Heading in the other direction is a pub called the ball inn, approx 2miles away, no dogs, good food and beer, its only a £5.00 taxi ride.

What a fantastic site. We've stayed here now, mainly for weekends, for the length of time Jacqui and Peter has had the site. Both the hosts are fabulous not only understanding but also for a good laugh.
The work they do for the weekend do's is becoming legendary.
Come to the site, relax, do your own thing, enjoy the girls (chickens) and have your own secluded pitch.
All the facilities are first class, never run out of hot water while I've been there. All the grass and trees are well trimmed and the site is always pristine.
Boston is only a few miles away with it's connection to the Pilgrim Fathers and the only woolsack outside the houses of Parliament.
Skegness is only a few miles away as are walks along the Witham as it winds it's way to the Wash.
My grandkids love it.

Have just left this site this morning after four days of pure relaxation. It was a pre new year reccy. Took wife, rugrat, and 70 yr old aunt. We all had a fantastic time. Saturday night there was an organised fire pit, get together with nibbles and wine and what ever you took with you, with good intelligent conversation, well until the alcohol kicked in anyway. There is nothing that we personally could say negative about our stay, the owners Jaquie and Peter are a fantastic couple who obviously love doing what they do best, and that is running this site. Although it was relatively a very quiet weekend, all those others there, I believe had as much enjoyment as us. The local pub the Ball house is a excellent place to eat and drink, with very friendly staff and Steve and Vicky (Landlords) kept a very good beer and sociable establishment, we decided to go back to the site again. This weekend coming in fact, so I left my van there to save dragging it home again for the sake of two days, and have also booked for over the new year. So as 3 other families that we met there this first trip. Fantastic but don't want to say any more because you will all want to go.

FANTASTIC 5 stars for this one. So good went back again within 14 days. Excellent small site no pub/club etc but the owners do arrange different activities like bbqs etc, talking of owners they are very friendly and accommodating. Recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing peaceful stay. Great for kids very safe with small play area, trampoline and key code gate. Chickens walking around is also a novelty for the kids. No on-site shop but shop 5 minute drive away close to Boston town centre. Toilets/showers spotless and warm. No bad points as far as I am concerned. Will be going back again no question.

Just returned from a fantastic few days at Pilgrim's Way. It is like no other campsite I've ever stayed in and it is fantastic. We stayed at probably the busiest weekend of the year (August Bank Holiday) but it didn't feel overcrowded. We had a fantastic pitch that was enclosed on three sides by tall hedges, so we felt like we had out own space.
The facilities are immaculate with free hot showers and the dishwashing are was also spot on. There was even a family shower room, which with 3 little ones, is just great! The children's play area is also really good.
Peter and Jacqui are really friendly and really accommodating and nothing seems to much trouble.
I would highly recommend this site and we will definitely be returning next year.
