Stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. All the pitches have names of birds and we were on magpie pitch in our tent. The owners cannot do enough for you and very helpful. Lovely camp site and very safe for the children. A trampoline and park kept the children happy. Good hot showers with a pull down seat to store toiletries and a few hanging hooks for clothes. Wash area is outside but undercover, water hot but not very fast. You can buy fresh eggs daily from the chickens on site. Family sports day/ BBQ on the Sunday and very well organised. They have a BBQ/ seating area which gets the full sun. A very lovely site and hope to go again.

Just spent 2 nights there, It was a very well set out site and had good pitches and made private by the hedging. Had a lovely little play ground for the kids to play in. The down side for me was the road noise Friday night the road noise was very busy Saturday was quieter. The shower block was tired and only 2 showers and 2 toilets for the men and I would say not that clean but not the worst I have seen. Sink area also grubby.

We stumbled upon this site after deciding the one we booked too wet and muddy. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and will do anything to make your stay great.
The site is brilliantly laid out with private sections surrounded by bushes, which makes it very personal.
The toilet block was always clean as well as lovely and warm. The site has lights hanging from trees that come on at night, meaning no need for a torch to find you way to the toilet block.
The site has gravel paths but grass areas for tents. They have free range chickens that are lovely and tame as well wandering around the site, which eat out your hands.
They also sell their eggs which were yummy. We will be going back soon and highly recommend this site.

Just came back from spending 4 nights over Halloween at Pilgrims Way.
First time away in our first twin axle!
Had to reverse into a tight pitch, but with help from the very nice warden( sorry cant remember your name!)managed without too much stress.
The site is nice and secluded, with a small play area for kids. Ours loved the trampoline.
Toilets/showers were pretty clean, although only two for the males.
Jacqui and Pete were brilliant, and Pete played the party host excellently for the Halloween party. Our middle sized daughter won the pumpkin competition for her age range.(yeah)
We used the on site kennels for our dog on a couple of occasions.
They were reasonably priced and very clean.
Didn't like the fact that we were advised to take our awning down on the Saturday due to the proximity of the fireworks.
It made me vary wary for the caravan and car!
Surrounding area I found very boring, just cabbages, cauliflowers and flat fields.
Went to Frampton Marsh bird sanctuary, something I never thought I would do, and that was about as exciting as the extended weekend got.
Oh, sorry, we had a chicken in the caravan as well!
All in all, there is nothing wrong with this site, the pitches are very private and sheltered, with massive bushes around them.
Its just a little tight on some of them! But maybe that's my reversing!
The hosts are warm and welcoming, the whole site is clean, basic and secluded, fairly easy to find.
It is pretty. No shop, no bar, does have dog kennels and free range eggs!
All the other caravan & motorhomers were nice as well.
A really friendly family site

After reading a few reviews of this site we thought we'd pack up the tent and go and have a look!
One word - Brilliant! We stayed for 4 nights but extended our stay by another night and were warmly welcomed by the owners.
All pitches have surrounding hedges and hook ups and with the nights drawing in we needed it and all pitches have night lights - so you can see where you're going! The washing facilities were great with boiling hot water and spotlessly clean blocks - and no horrible smells! You can also do your washing/drying and ironing as well should you wish.
In a fantastic location of the Fends and close to Skegness we shall be returning in the near future!

Only spent 3 days at this site and found it to be well situated in the Lincolnshire country side, only a few miles from Boston and about 30 mins from Skegness.
Quiet and well maintained with excellent shower and toilet facilities. I liked the idea of having an electronic barrier to get in and out.
Very friendly owners who keep the grounds in great condition and provide some entertainment at weekends.
I would recommend this site to all whether you whether you use a tent or a caravan.

Just spent a week on this site, had a fantastic time. The toilets, showers, kitchen area and washing area all kept very clean. Owners were very helpful which helped to make it an enjoyable time,as nothing was to much trouble. It is in a very flat area so very good for bike riding. Put the dog in the kennels and was very happy with them, clean and lots of space, it also meant we were able to go to places where dogs are not allowed, knowing she was safe. Looking forward to our next visit there.

Upon arrival was given a fully comprehensive and friendly welcome and tour. All facilities were clean and exceptionally well maintained. Site is small and extremely family and pet friendly. Entertainment was well managed and everyone was made to feel a part of the evening.Site is situated just outside Boston. We found enough to do locally but might have struggled if we'd stayed any longer. However children would happily have not left the site the whole time! Very happy parents and very happy and tired children! Couldn't ask for more!

We've just spent 4 days at this glorious campsite. The owners were super and very helpful and fully recommend the takeaways on offer. A few negative points are that the road is very noisy, the Wood pigeons need culling. We had a shock from the nearby fields being worked, and was awoke at 5am with tractions and other farm equipment been set up on the area at the side of the main camping field.
But overall a lovely clean, Child friendly site. We will return in the near future.

What a brilliant site this is! The owners and warden are very friendly and are more than happy to stop and chat to you.
Very child friendly site - there's a small playground with swing/seasaw/climbing wall which keeps them entertained. Also the friendly hens come visiting the tents.
Showers are very clean and there's plenty of hot water for all.
There is a playbarn and bowling alley 5 mins away by car although can be walked - but it was raining for us! Local shops less than 5 mins by car.
Overall this is a great site that allows a relaxing camping experience. We will definitely be returning.
