I have stayed here twice before but now the toilets and showers have been refurbed and are cleaned regularly, don't forget your 20p coin for the shower.
I was on a hard standing (stones) so awning pegs can be used, stronger ones advised, I had the convenience of water hook up and waste as well as electric there is also a laundry room with washing machine,
The site is very well kept by the friendly owner and is within easy walk of the town back is a bit harder as its up hill, which on first approach was 1st gear towing my caravan up to the site for the first part of the steep incline,
I will be staying here again

This is a popular and well-run site in a very attractive setting and the owner was very welcoming. Be aware that the road to the site is very steep and narrow.
There are two fields available for camping, these are both quite sloping.
The hard standing pitches have EHU and water on them but are quite close together.
The site is clean and tidy.
In view of the popularity of the site I would recommend booking in advance.

Without doubt one of the nicest campsites I’ve ever been to in Wales…
The camping field was very well kept with almost manicured grass.
Toilet and shower facilities were excellent and the whole site was very clean and tidy.
Definitely worth a visit

Nice Campsite. Up a hill away from the town.
The pitches are on a hill so while they are flat, they are not level.
It was nice and friendly. Toilets were clean. There was a DoE group there during our stay and I think this impacted the availability of hot water which was a shame. I had late night showers to avoid this, but it did stop me washing the kids as much as I would have wanted to.
They have a facility to freeze freezer blocks, you need to ask at reception for this so only during reasonable hours (fair enough really).

We were given an exceptionally warm welcome on arrival to this incredibly beautiful campsite, and we had a lovely, peaceful short stay here.
I've never stayed anywhere with a toilet/shower block as clean and non-spidery as this one - arachnophobes, you'll be quite safe here!
The site is well placed for walking up to the castle, and isn't far from the town - there is a footpath that you can walk, rather than taking the narrow, steep lane.

A lovely site in lovely surroundings, lovely owner too!
I was only there overnight, but I'd like to go back for a weekend and explore Llangollen canal, cycle the local lanes, and walk up the hill to castell Dinas Brân.
There's quite a hill up from Llangollen, but if you're on a bike like me - it's worth it.

A lovely site, facilities were so so clean and the owner was lovely.
The walk to town is quick but steep on the way back.
We loved the dog walking field, so nice to be able to let the pups run free on holiday!
