We visited on the sunniest weekend of July - which was lucky for us.
It's a lovely site - not crammed full even though the school holidays had started.
We were non electric so we were told to pick anywhere we wanted in the fields above the main site.
The pitch was flat, but at the top of a relatively steep hill. There was only one toilet block - you've guessed it - at the top of the hill.
The view of the surrounding beaches from the top of the hill was stunning.
There was a good shop and restaurant on site - prices seemed about right - not extortionately OTT due to being on a campsite in the middle of nowhere.
For some reason the three of us all brought a car each - and we were not charged extra for this.
. Which is good - because you do have to pay for the showers. Only 50p but when you're paying £20 a night for 2 plus £3 for extra people I really think the showers should be free. It annoyed me.
The area was lovely. Lots of places to go, lots to do, nice walks etc.
If you need to do a food shop do it in St Austell because there are not many other shops nearby.
The staff were lovely, the grounds were great - and the ice cream rocked!
Love it!

We loved everything about this place, the views of stunning coastlines and countryside, the play area was amazing my 3 year old loved this, also the birds and animals we're a big hit with her and my 1 year old alike, there was a definite soft spot for the pigs, that we're topic of conversation all the way home. We loved how close it was to some truly amazing beaches, we took the roads as opposed to the footpath as we had a buggy and again it was very scenic and not to far, we have been camping a lot and I must say the toilets we're among the cleanest and best kept that we've seen, all toilet blocks have there busier times of the day, but the queues for anything we're minimal and not a problem. We love going camping for the relaxed, happy and chilled experience and that was definitely what we got here, the staff and owners we're so accommodating and helpful, we just cant thank them enough for making our holiday the best yet! We will definitely be returning.

Nice views. Friendly & helpful staff. Field mostly flat & short grass. Clean toilet blocks. If you have children there is a nice play park. Beautiful walks & a short walk to Gorran with a nice beach & shops. Also close to Hemmick beach with lovely rock pools. Would recommend this site and to intend to visit later on in the year.

The facilities were very clean and of a good standard. The site is set in a fantastic place, quite easy to find and get to.
The site had its own storyteller which the kids loved, very imaganative.
The sandy beach was within walking distance which was great as the kids ages range from 8 to 15.
I really enjoyed the views, they were fabulous.
Nice family holiday site.

I was travelling alone last summer and enjoyed a lovely week staying at this beautiful location. Treveague Farm is surrounded by sea views-absolutely stunning! I was welcomed by friendly staff who served me up some lovely coffee and gave me information on any local attractions I wished to visit.
The toilet and shower facilities were busy but always well cleaned even in the height of the summer season while I was staying. The campsite also has its own on-site restaurant selling home made produce-the food does not disappoint!
This campsite is well worth a visit if it's traditional camping you're after!

Thinking of booking another holiday this year and looking at the website reminded me what a great time we had here last year. The backdrop of the lovely Cornish coast was gorgeous and the short walk into Goran Haven gave more great views. Lots of farm animals, birds and chipmunks to keep the kids amused and the badger hide is a brilliant idea. The on site restaurant was a godsend and even the more fussy family members found dishes they really enjoyed. Even on the day it rained we found lots to do and nearby Mevagissey and Charles Town great places to visit.

Great location and views with out-of-way beaches. Toilets clean and basic and ok, when site under half occupied but would hate to have to use in peak time. 50p for 4 mins which adds up for a family over a week (needed two tokens to wash hair). We paid £18 a night 2adult 2children, 1 infant, (stayed 9 nights) which I felt should have included showers.
Grass had not been cut all over which surprised us at it was bank holiday week.
This added to our main bug, dogs poo! This site has a 'dogs don't have to be on lead' policy, which is great for dog owners. But we found owners would let their dogs out in the morning and 'look the other way', I got fed up with picking up mess or cleaning it off shoes. The long grass did not help.
Also the owner and staff members dogs were wandering around, so free to poop and try to join in our BBQ. Shame as it's the main reason I would not return.
The kids loved the story telling which was on one day and the fort kept all ages amused.
Be aware if your not ok with reversing narrow (untrimmed) hedges. The lanes are narrow, single with little by passings, not a prob for us but could give some nightmares in high season.
Happy camping and the shop on beach front (Gorran haven) does kiddi size ice creams for £1. 20! - went back there a few times! It is a 15-20 min walk with little ones or short drive and £3 all day local car park

The setting of the campsite is lovely and there are beautiful views to the sea on 2 sides of the site. Not all the pitches have really good views and it seems to have the best views you need to be on the most sloping pitches!
Toilet block was clean and good. The washing machines really need upgrading as they keep stopping at different points of their programme and need manually restarting.
The food in the cafe was good but most of the food supplied was not apparently organic as we had understood from the website.
The highlight for our children was the story teller which happens twice a week in peak season. They have different story tellers and when we were there he was a man who told stories and sang songs with the children for 2 hours from 7-9pm. This was unfortunately cancelled with no notice on the last wednesday due to the site not being busy enough - this led to some disappointment, so notifications of changes would be appreciated.
For me the biggest problem with the site compared to my expectations was that the walks to the beaches are much longer than advertised, especially with small children. It generally took us a good half hour to 40 minutes to get to the beaches by foot. The walks are lovely but I had booked the site on the basis of proximity so this was a disappointment.
The wildlife hide to see badgers at night was very good and the children loved this. There was no helping in the farm on offer (although advertised) though unfortunately.
The barn dance was poorly attended and there was no fancy dress competition which is mentioned on the website again leading to disappointment to one of my children who had been working hard to get a cowboy outfit together.
The surrounding area was lovely.

We booked two pitches (one for us the other for my daughters family) by email and got confirmation. However when we arrived (6 hour journey)we were told that they were no longer available, chap just crossed them of the top of the booking slip and told us we had to go on the overspill (no explanation). When we looked at the overspill site there was no way we could erect our trailer tent because of the slope (the only flat part of the field was already taken). So after some discussion we were offered two pitches that were free.
The reason that they were unused was they were right next to the playpark. After such a long journey we gave in and took them but were obviously plagued by the noise (they did close it at about 2130 each night) for the whole week whilst we were on site.
Other than that the site is not too bad, facilities are fairly good, food in the restaurant was pretty good, shop prices were quite high for some items (especially drinks)
The rubbish bins were cleared daily by old 'George' and the site was clean. The only downside therefore was the fact that the booking system was worthless and that there is no mention of the very narrow lanes leading to the site, although there are some passing points, two caravans going in opposite directions could have great difficulty in getting through.
Other than that had a good time (and they will charge your phones for you for free).

This is a good site to begin very scenic and interesting walks in both directions along the coast. It's also within a (hilly) mile of two good beaches - Gorran Haven with 'amenities'; and the long, unspoiled Vault beach (naturist at the SW end). As a place to camp it's less good, with two of the fields very sloping. We probably saw it at its worst: at a busy time in August, when there were many hundreds of units, with a large proportion of tents. The facilities are simply inadequate for the number of pitches - amazingly they have large camping fields not only without electric hook-ups but without even a single tap for water! For once, having 50p tokens for showers is beneficial, so people don't occupy them too long.
We had the same experience as described in another recent review here - being given a place in what seemed to be a carpark next to the playground. That was so unsuitable that we would have left, despite having already paid. Only when we persisted was a much better pitch was provided.
This site set a record: the most expensive wi-fi we've ever encountered in UK or abroad. To their credit though, the person in reception explained that the service was so bad we were best not to try! One tip: the ice-creams we got at Gorran Haven Post Office were good, big and excellent value. Not everybody in Cornwall is trying to rip the tourists off.
