Visited this site for ten nights in the middle of the month with the family. First impressions on arrival was that it's much larger than we had expected. We were on a powered pitch which I thought is good value in the school holidays. Staff at check in were very helpful and took time to show us to our pitch.
Our pitch was on a slight slope but nothing to worry about. A large proportion of the general camping areas are on a steep slope and tend to bunch together on the flatter areas.
Sea views from the pitch was great, short walk to the toilets/showers and playground. Good sized pitch.
In peak times the facilities get busy. At one point people were turned away (even from washing up) as they had to let the hot water system catch up. The gents were always clean however, the wife said that the ladies was probably the worst in five years of camping! As a previous review stated there is not one washing up sink but three.
The on site cafe was excellent. Could not fault the food, drinks or the friendly service. The shop stocks the essentials. The farms own meat is excellent.
The short walk to Gorran beach is down a narrow toe path which is all downhill. A struggle on the way back for tired 3 year olds legs. Even though it is a public foot path through the farm I would have liked the owners to maybe once a week use a strimmer to take the nettles back a little.
Local area is lovely, fantastic little fish & chip shop on the beach. It can be very windy up at the site but a gentle breeze on the beach.
Overall a good site in an excellent location, but they may try to get too many units on in the busy periods.

Wonderful relaxing 3 nights here with hook up & sea view. Fantastic walks along the cliff path in either direction, or down the hill into Gorran Haven - lovely family beach with canoe & boat hire, great beach shop & cafe selling everything you could need for a day at the seaside, pub is very swish - recently extended & modernised, more hotel than a local, but staff welcoming & food looked very good. There is another pub in 'upper' Gorran Haven. Leaflet available from reception gives good beach information. Friendly welcome, go & pitch, see us in reception later, also very helpful when I had a phone booking disaster!. Small shop in reception & a cafe serving food, the site wasn't very busy when we stayed but I am sure that the shop & cafe sell more when more visitors are on site. Good selection of local meats available from the freezer. Spotlessly clean facilities, apart from when the Duke of Edinburgh's Scheme arrived - participants messy & inconsiderate to other users, but were at least quiet at night. Showers are by tokens purchased, and although hot & enough time, the lights also went out when the water stops - make sure you have everything to hand. There was also a good children's play area. We would definitely stay here again as it was so relaxing watching the sea & the sun & everyone having a great time.

This is a really lovely campsite. The views are amazing, although not so easy to see from the pitches near the entrance gate. Childrens playground great and not too near the entrance gate. We did not try the food. My 5-year-old loved the story-teller on Thursday night and we saw badgers at the wildlife hide which was one of the highlights of our holiday.
The toilet blocks were very clean - you do have to pay 50p for a 4-minute shower though. There is a nice room for dressing small children when you get out of the shower.
The only downside is that the walk to the beach is a bit of a hike with 2 small children. The quickest we managed it in was 30minutes. Goran Haven and Hemmick are both nice beaches.
Local attractions - we liked Eden project and heligan (heligan give you a voucher for money off at Eden, so go to heligan first!). Mevagissey also worth a trip and you can catch crabs with a line and a bit of bacon in the harbour.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this site.

Back from a wonderful week on Treveague Farm. We booked on the recommendation of other UK Campsite reviews and were not dissapointed. The pitches are generous(we were in a VW campervan with large awning & had plenty of space). All the staff were very friendly and helpful with regard to local information/days out etc.
The shop and Secret Garden restaurant were a brilliant asset. A 15 min walk to Gorran Haven beach was easily accessible and a blessing not to have to go in the car.
The showers & laundry facilities were of a high standard and very well maintained.
We will definitely return to this part of Cornwall, it was wonderful.

Just returned from 7 nights at this wonderful site. The location and the facilities are excellent, the cleaner is a real character and gave us lots of information about the local area! She also does a really good job of keeping everywhere spic and span!
The South West Coastal path almost runs through the site so despite the weather we managed to get a lot of walking in. The picturesque harbours of Port Mellon and Mevagissey are a great walk away with stunning views of the coastline. Gorran Haven is a short walk away, the local shop/post office, is excellent value for money, try some of the local sausages, lovely! Fish and chips were gorgeous as well, beware you do get plenty! On the road out there is a little place that sells local produce, well worth a visit, very reasonable prices (we had salad stuff) and very good taste. The cafe and shop weren't open during our stay, although the cafe did open for breakfast on our last morning, good value for money! Myra, the owner, is very friendly and willing to help out when asked. We met an array of local characters and were amazed by how friendly people are. We were so sad to leave and would definitely recommend this site, excellent value for money.

Pros
-Lovely rural site with great sea views and a real feeling of being in the heart of the countryside.
- a REAL farm - sheeps, pigs, cows, the lot and you can wander around freely to soak it all in.
-Really well laid out shower block, nice and clean with plenty of showers so no need to queue plus a dry dressing room area with mirrors etc so you can keep your stuff dry while trying to preen!
- 3 beaches in easy walking distance
- 10 minutes drive to Heligan and lovely Lobbs farmshop for great picnic and BBQ ingredients
Cons
- rural setting meant tiny roads & lanes and we go a bit lost in the dark
- remote location but shop wasn't open at all until the weekend (I wouldn't expect this during this time or year and it wasn't highlighted anywhere)
- quite a trek across to Eden Project via St Austell.
Definitely worth a visit, great value but just make sure you take plenty of grub if not going at the weekend.

First piece of advice is don't follow your sat nav. When you book they send you a list of directions; some of the roads seem narrow, but they are a lot worse via the sat nav. As you go, keep an eye out for passing places.
The site is very well spaced out and pitches are clearly marked. All electric points seem to have a water connection, similar to a serviced pitch.
Sea view is easy as one is almost on a peninsula. This can be a disadvantage when it is windy. I would suggest that tent campers test the wind direction when they get there and pitch accordingly, should the wind increase.
There is a shop and cafe, which were closed whilst we were there though.
Play park seemed very sturdy and looked to be fun for the children.
The toilet block was clean, warm and had piped music. Showers cost 50p with a token and lasted 4 minutes.
There are plenty of walks from the site and the info paper gives three beaches within easy walking distance. They could be a problem for buggies.
However, a trip to Gorran Haven can be made by road. There is a small harbour with beach, fish & chip shop and small Spar type store.
The owners were pleasant and very laid back.
At £12 a night with ehu, an excellent site.
We will certainly go again,

Great site for families, we had a lovely time here, even though it was gale force winds and monsoon style rain for much of the time! The staff were friendly and the facilities were great and very very clean.
We went to toddler music sessions in the barn, and also to the barn dance one evening, which was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was good value. My 3 year old daughter's highlight was feeding the pigs every day, and she also loved the small playground.
Great location too, good beaches right next door, and a short drive to the Eden Project and Monkey Sanctuary.
Overall, a great family site with good facilities without feeling like one of the huge holiday parks.

What can I say, the best campsite I have ever stayed on. The toilet block facilities were absolutely spotless at all times of the day. Piping hot water.
The location is fab for walks on the Cornish coast and the lovely beach at Hemmick. 10 min walk to Gorran Haven where there is a little village store which seems to sell loads. Also, a number of farm shops nearby.
I loved this site for the view, the location, very dog friendly and will be back. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed another couple of nights.

Spent 2 weeks here with some friends and family, the site was beautiful and the scenery breathtaking. The staff are wonderful and friendly and the facilities clean and well laid out only wish there were more of them through the site.
We were camped in the field without electric(our choice) it was somewhat sloped and proved interesting when eating or drinking at the table lol, but the views made up for this. The local wildlife was wonderful and walks to local beaches was great lots of fresh air made for a good nights sleep.
My only advice is DO NOT follow your sat nav to get you to the site use sites directions and avoid Mevagissey by car.
This site really is designed for young families and as my youngest is mid teens we found the youngsters early waking a little hard to swallow, however an excellent and friendly site and staff
