A beautiful site, plenty to keep the children amused in the play park, we hardly saw them! They also enjoyed the story teller. When asked the children voted the site 10 out of 10!
Very helpful staff, we were a party of 5 units caravans, trailer tent and tents but we were sited together and were allowed to site another family member who turned up in a motor home near us too. A splitter was supplied to enable us all to have electric.
We had a lot of rain on one day but although the ground was soggy while it rained, it must drain very well, because as soon as it stopped raining it became solid again!
The toilets were always clean and had music playing! We hadn't expected to pay 50p for shower tokens however.
The shop sold lovely Cornish pasties and ice cream.
It was a walk to any of the nearby beaches, but good exercise after the pasties!
The only drawback for us was the final access road to the site. It was very narrow and towing a caravan meant it was not easy to reverse to the limited passing places! Especially when two caravans are trying to pass!

Great campsite with friendly owner. Not bad price for high season (£15 for van and 2 adults without hook up). Got to choose our pitch and owner flexible about where we went.
Toilets really clean as were showers. Need to buy tokens for the showers though (50p for 4 minutes).
Field at the top has lovely views over the sea.
No pub within walking distance. Cafe on site does food and drink in high season.
Discovered it's not too far to get onto the Pentewan cycling trail which runs to St Austell.

This was our first family camping trip, lasting more than one night, and loved it.
We chose the site as it seemed quiet but with enough to keep the children amused, and it certainly lived up to expectations!
The staff are all really friendly and helpful, offering advice about the local area.
The site has a cafe which served an excellent breakfast. They use their own and local produce.
The reception has a shop, which is smaller than expected but has the essentials.
The toilets and showers were spotless, and never overcrowded even though the site was pretty full.
The communal washing up area also had a microwave and wash machine/drier, although the freezer wasn't working well, but more to do with being completely packed!
The children's play fort is great, and we always felt our children were safe, and always within eyesight from our pitch. Even when there was a little trouble in the play area the owner acted quickly and dealt with the problem to ensure safety for the rest of the children.
Pitches are spacious and marked clearly by the use of wooden fencing, and even though we had people either side it was quiet, apart from the snoring!
The beaches are all accessible through the farm, but not for the faint hearted! I would say a good 15min walk is the 'easiest' route through the farmland to Gorran Haven. The other way is at least 20min through farmland, you then have to walk down a treacherous single country lane for a short distance, and then back onto farmland. But the beach is well worth it, beautiful, and obviously not overcrowded.
The road leading to the site is also a single lane, but has plenty of waiting areas, and is never that busy, so not really a problem.
The local area is full of great beaches, quaint villages, and bigger attractions like 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' and 'Eden Project'. If you are going to both, go to Lost Gardens first as they give you money off Eden, we found out at our cost!
The views from the pitches were beautiful, the site well maintained, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I am glad we chose this as our first experience of camping and I will certainly recommend to others, and look forward to staying there again. 9/10

Have just got back from our family holiday & have to say this site is fantastic, we have paid double the cost on other sites in Cornwall & only received half the value compared to this site.
All the facilities were spotlesly clean & all the staff were very helpful & always smiling. Our kids (7&3 year olds) loved the play area & spent hours on there making friends whilst we were able to relax within easy viewing range of them.
We had such a good time that we booked for next year before leaving for home, as did a lot of other families.

What an absolutely fantastic site! Myra, Steve and staff are so helpful and friendly and can't do enough to ensure you have the very best camping experience.
All our children aged from 8 - 15years said it was the best holiday ever - and we've been to villas in Spain and camping to other parts of the UK. The place was so clean and tidy (George was a star! as too the cleaners).
Great facilities with the secret garden offering a yummy menu and mostly produce from the farm itself; showers for 50p for 4 mins and use of drying room, microwaves, fridge and freezers. We especially loved the real family feeling.
We went to watch the badgers at night in the hide, listened to the story teller in the teepee and enjoyed a ho-down at the barn dance! The views are fantastic though the beaches are a bit of a hike mostly down hill. Which is great walking down but not so great walking back! There's no local pub but that's ok with us.
The nearest supermarket is Asda which is still a good drive (about 10 miles). Nearby attractions we visited included Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanydrock House and Megavissey for shops and crabbing which was great fun!
The drive was the only downside - nightmare on A30 and M5, but was worth it in the end. We've never visited Cornwall before, but we will definitely be going back to Treveague Farm.

We spent our two week honeymoon at this campsite. The owners are lovely, very helpful and accommodating.
The location of the site is quite remote, perfect if you want to get away from it all. The views of the south Cornwall cost are beautiful. The only problem is the exposed nature of the site. As it is on a headland, there is little protection if it is windy, and it was very windy whilst we were there (had to purchase an awning storm strap to make things secure). That said, once we were well strapped down, the wind didn't bother us anymore, and the views more than make up for it.
The facilities are good, clean toilets and showers, with an extra room for the ladies to dry hair, iron etc. The kitchen/washing up facilities are indoors which is a bonus. Finally, there are washing machines and tumble driers, and a drying room which is brilliant when you get soaked to the skin and need somewhere to dry your wet clothes!
There are some lovely walks to unspoilt beaches, and down to Gorran Haven. Well worth the effort (coming back is always uphill and may not be suitable for very young children).
Would definitely come back to this site if we were in the area.

Our visit to Treveague (first visit to Cornwall) was in August. Just try to summarize all the bits and pieces:
• Amazing surrounding countryside with great sea views and close to Gorran Haven, Mevagissey and St Austell (30 mins)
• Really helpful and welcoming staff on site
• Good quality facilities with excellent small shop and take away food
• Reasonably priced secret garden restaurant on site
• Feed the farms own pigs – great for the kids
• Badger, wildlife hide is amazing and treat for the kids
• Excellent park for kids up to teenager age
The local area is amazing and you never have to travel too far in the car, gorran haven is a 30 minute walk through the woods (not suitable for pushchairs). The Cakebreads shop in Gorran Haven does amazing home made pasties and cakes – a must for all visitors and the beach café and chip shop does great food. The beach and harbour are lovely. Mevagissey is gorgeous and The Fountain Inn is highly recommended with local beers and excellent pub food.
Three beaches within reach (Hemmick, Gorran Haven and Vault). Hemmick and Vault involve a steep trek with no car parking but well worth the effort.
As it was August the site was very busy and this meant that with 5 shower and toilet cubicles in each of the mens and ladies facilities there is often a queue early and late in the day. The facilities could do with checking / cleaning more regularly due to the busy time of year. Just a note that the non-electric pitches are allocate on arrival so you can end up being on quite a steep slope so best to arrive as early as possible.
Overall, friendly and warm staff with an amazing area to explore (just needs more cubicles for a large site with more regular checks at busy times)

As we were there out of peak season, the site was relatively empty. It had been raining constantly in the previous few days and the site was a little muddy in places, though not boggy at all.
There's a huge amount of space, and I have to say that if you prefer small sites like me, then don't go here in peak season.
However, the facilities are ace; clean toilets, good warm showers, excellent washing up facilities, with an on-site cafe which served a reasonable menu.
Highlight of our stay here was going down to the wooded valley and watching 12 badgers from the purpose-built hide.
The nearby Hennick beach is lovely, but I expect it gets very busy in the kids holiday periods.

On arrival at Treveage Farm, after a lengthy car journey, to be greeted by the friendly staff [Steve and Myra] and then to be given a much needed and compliamentary coffee and biscuit, we knew this site was going to for us.
We we shown around the facilities and given a welcome pack on arrival detailing the sites amenities, the surrounding towns, directions and explainations of the local beaches [there are 3 within easy walking distance] and also a list of useful contact numbers for emergencies.
We we asked about the pitches we'd prefer and we then shown a number of possible sites.
The pitch was great, and well ordered, with plenty of space between pitches. We found the camp well maintained, clean and above the customer service was exemplary!
The whole experience was further enhanced by the friendly and helpful staff, and also the fantastic meals we had in the 'secret garden restaurant'.
The bird hide and CCTV cameras within the woods was an inspired idea, but a little to late in the year for us to see too much.
Following this relaxing break in beautiful surroundings, we're already planning on when we'll go back next year.
If we could give this site 11 out of 10 we would!

We stayed here from the 19th August for 8 nights on our first camping trip - and we loved it!
We also got trapped on the Megavissy roads, they are so, so narrow with pedestrians both sides and it's supposed to be 2 way traffic! Follow the signs for Gorran Haven off the Pentewan Road at the crossroads before you drive into Mevagissey and you only need to go up 2 small lanes. I have a fear of narrow lanes, and these are very short and tame with plenty of pull-ins.
We had a good flat pitch not far from the play area where our 3 year old amused himself whilst we put up the tent (and for most of the time we were on site). Great for kids with the fort, football goals and pigs to feed.
Small shop and cafe/restaurant on site. We didn't use it but the menus looked nice and no 'junk' food for the kids. Milk etc. A bit pricy at £1 per pint, but I guess that's expected.
Asda and Tesco are in St Austell about a 20min drive away, Newquay is another 16 miles from St Austell. Great location for travelling around, with lovely beaches on your doorstep. Gorran Haven was a 15min walk but very steep going back up. Car park there was £2.50 for the day.
Showers & toilets were always fine. Even when it got a bit muddy outside, I found it ok inside. Dishwashing sinks got a bit busy at times, but excellently equipped with 2 fridges, freezer and microwave. Some people were complaining that there should be more washers and dryers (there's 2 of each), but we only needed to dry a few towels and hand washed a couple of essentials
The site does say it's a bit exposed, but apart from catching the tail end of the hurricane when we thought we would take off, it was mostly calm and hardly any breeze at all.
I did think it would stay really noisy one night as a lot of older children were hanging round the play area, but come 10pm everywhere was quiet.
