This site is very nice, toilets nice and clean, staff very friendly, lots of room to move, although takeaway is only open on weekends out of school holidays it is worth trying, we tried a few meals and found the pizza very nice and a lot cheaper than other takeaways we have tried also the breakfast is very nice and very good value, it is a walk into Richmond along the road and a short walk into the village with a pub and shop. Site has a children's playground.

The site looks good on paper, but do not be fooled, it is an extremely cramped, noises, dirty site.
Caravans and awnings are no more than 8ft apart just enough for your car, which kids run past as a short cut, the men's toilet block had 4 cubicles, one did not flush, one had no paper and one looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. The on site takeaway did not open on weekdays, and the dog walk area is only accessible via a steep gravel covered bank which if you were in any way disabled could prove a hazard especially coming back down, the dog run itself was along side the fast moving main road with gaps in the fence which would allow dogs to escape onto the road. We were told (not asked) to vacate the awning and sit in the caravan after 12 at night, we asked why as we were only talking softly with no music playing, the night warden told us to stop being arsey or we would be ordered off the site immediately.
During the day several families were yelling and swearing despite the no bad behaviour rule but there were no wardens around to keep the noise level down. The brochure claims a family friendly games room which was shut, the rubbish bins were overflowing and smelly, we had to pay a £20 deposit for the toilet block/gate key, if you came back from a trip out after 12 at night the wardens stood watching and listening ready to pounce if you made a slight noise, the day staff who sat in the office were pleasant and helpful, but the exit from the site is very steep at the barrier, and if it is raining there is a danger you will spin the wheels if taking your caravan out. If you need the disabled toilet you have to get the key from reception, which is a stupid idea as the disabled person may not be able to cover the distance twice, I. E. From the caravan to the office from the office to the toilet from the toilet to the office from the office to the caravan, why not fit a radar lock every disabled person can have or should have their own key. The overall feeling is that this site is overpriced for the available facilities, vans way to close and the general tidiness and maintenance is poor, alright for a quick stop over but would nor recommend it for a good holiday

Lovely site, great shower/ toilet facilities, Our Daughter liked the park. We loved the area, fab walks and the man in the shop was very helpful. Thought they missed a trick with the shop, it could be a real buzzing asset to the site, cheap and cheerful, more wine choice, local produce, cheap ice cream to keep the kids happy. Loved the site and a great area.

Good site near the lovely village of Osmotherly and on the edge of North Yorks Moors. Very helpful staff, good comprehensive facilities, convenient for Coast to Coast. Good cafes in village in walking distance and restaurant right by site. Only snag, the code on the electronic gate never worked for us on the way out!

Stayed here for 2 nights for the first time and we were very impressed. The warden was friendly and helpful. The pitch we were allocated was perfect, right next to the river with easy access. The toilet/shower blocks are very well maintained. Clean and warm.
The children's play park was good and plenty of space for football when we were there.
The on site shop was great and we were able to refreeze our ice packs.
The site is 5 minutes drive from Catterick so we popped into the caravan and camping shop for a look around.
We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for a weekend and will definitely return here with friends. Never been before and taken to our pitch, looking out of my caravan window onto the river about 50 meters away was fantastic. The site was packed when we got there and when we left I realised that I'd heard no screaming children or adults all weekend, it was really quiet, everyone doing whatever they wanted but not rowdy.
Showers were lovely and warm but could do with being updated, kids playpark was ok, but with the river being there I was showing my kids how I used to play and climb trees.
I think it's a great place for next year. Friends in their tents and me in my caravan, excellent.

I have stayed at this site a few times now and will definitely keep going back.
The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, they even helped me set my tent up last time!
The site itself is lovely, well maintained and in a great location. The river swale runs the full length of the site and is great for the kids when the weather is nice. The play area has had a facelift since last year and has good facilities for the kids.
Toilets & showers are well maintained and the shop and take away are handy with good opening hours.
Highly recommended

The site is situated next to a river and in a lovely scenic area.
Also a few minutes from the market town of Richmond.
We arrived mid week to a very peaceful park. On site is a shop and takeaway (takeaway only open thurs, fri and sat nights and for a couple hours on sat and sun mornings).
There is a decent sized play park for the younger children and a games room. We didn't go in side but there looked to be some arcade games and a pool table.
The toilet block is clean but in need of updating. The showers were always hot.
The dish washing up are located next to the toilet block.
The shop carries everyday essentials and the prices are a bit higher than supermarkets.
The staff are friendly and helpful and escorted us to our pitch which was situated on the 'island'.
Now for the negative bits. We returned from an afternoon out (a Friday) to find a caravan pitched behind ours. It was too close to our awning! We felt that we had lost some of our privacy as they could see straight into our caravan (and vice versa).
The site was also very noisy as several people had music on and seemed to be out doing each other volume wise.
All in all we were a bit disappointed in the parks response to the the noise level as it didn't quiet down at advised time, which is 10. 30pm!
I'm afraid we won't be hurrying back!

Very friendly, helpful staff. The park grounds are beautiful, very well maintained. The location is ideal for access to exploring the area with some great walks and of course the river runs through the park which is good if you like fishing. Toilet blocks were very clean and park facilities were good. Great games room with arcade machines and pool tables. Food from the on site takeaway was very good. All in all a very well organised and managed park. It's clear the owners have invested a lot of time, money and effort into creating a excellent family holiday park.

Stayed at this campsite last weekend in one of their new Pods.
Excellent cleanliness - good site facilities eg well stocked shop, friendly staff, shower blocks & toilets immaculate.
Pods were fantastic, full electric, very airy, lovely view of the river. Really good value for £40 a night.
Good facilities for the children (games room) outdoor 'safe' play area - equipment for children with disabilities too - very refreshing to see.
Site manager and staff very knowledgeable about surrounding area, places to eat etc.
Would highly recommend.
