What can you say about this gem of an adults only campsite. Peace and quiet (ignore the wood pigeon at 4. 30 am) and an aura of calmness. Generous hard standing pitches with your own piece of lawn too. Water and electricity are all located very close to each pitch.
The facilities are of a very high standard with lovely little touches that you wouldn't expect. For example: washing up liquid if you forget to take your own, a hair-drier and a good sized mirror, air fresheners in the loos. Hot water at any tine of the day and the best showers I've ever used anywhere.
There is a lounge area if you want to sit somewhere comfy and a small library - leave a book, swap abook etc. A friendly welcome from Nina who owns the campsite and is so laid back.
Will definitely be returning.

What a great time we had at Chain Bridge adult only campsite. Most beautiful location. Very peaceful and very clean facilities.
I've never stayed anywhere with a TV lounge before, which we didn't use as the weather was marvellous. Lots to do in the surrounding area and relaxing walks to be had along the Tweed.
Will most definitely be returning. Nina is a very friendly owner.
PS. Best shower we've ever had on a campsite!

Very friendly welcome from Nina (owner and warden) and would definitely stay again.

Just returned from Chain Bridge caravan touring site, We stayed for 10 nights and loved every minute of our stay. Nina gave us a warm welcome as she does with everyone who arrives.
Top class site, all facilities are spot on, best showers ever. Fabulous area to visit and locals are so friendly. Try the walk over the chain bridge and turn right over the bridge and follow the river Tweed, up through the gardens to Paxton Hall or take the coast road, the scenery is stunning, just enjoy.
Thankyou Chainbridge for a great stay, we will return.

Words can not describe what a fantastic site Chainbridge is, we only stay at Tranquil sites and this is the cream of them all, plus Northumberland was an unknown area and we have completely fell in love with it, Nina was so helpful when we arrived and has made are stay so wonderful, in fact it’s so nice, we have just booked to come back in July and booked for next year also.
So if you looking for a quite beautiful site along with outstanding countryside, then book today as I am sure you will not be disappointed and will fall in love with the site and area, and it will be the first of many a visit I will guarantee.

We have just returned from our first stay at this fantastic, dog friendly site!
Chainbridge is perfect for those wanting peace and quiet. Situated on the banks of the river Tweed, there are lovely walks along the river or into the nearby village of Horncliffe. We met many of the local villagers who were so welcoming and friendly.
The site itself is tidy and well kept and the showers and toilets are very clean. Nina, the proprietor, is very welcoming and friendly and we loved this site so much, we booked to return in July.
Can’t wait to return!

Stayed on this dog friendly adult only campsite a few times now. It. S one of our fave sites. It's so peaceful & spotless & we love the fact it has a day room & kitchen for campers to use, makes this a lovely added bonus. Day room has a tv & sfa, dvd/book library that you can use or swap books, dvds. There's a washing machine & dryer & kitchen with pot wash area, all in doors, & microwave an added bonus & seating & sofa area's to sit & just relax if you want. The day room is an excellent idea, its just like being in your own living room. The showers are always hot & are powerful to & toilet & showers, kitchen, day room area's are all spotless & clean. It's not a big site but I would highly recommend a stay you'll love it as we do & nina the site lady is lovely too. Very helpful & friendly. There's honey farm right next door to this site, it's free & dog friendly & there's a double decker bus cafe with outdoor seating, vintage vehicle museum & shop selling candles, honey. There's a play area for kids too. It's well worth a visit. This campsite is a little gem & is ideally located for berwick town, shops, cafes & other fantastic places to visit. A great little campsite.

We have just returned from this fantastic campground after a four night stay!
The location is perfect and so quiet being Adults only, The washrooms and grounds are kept spotless by Nina(Warden /Owner)whom if you are lucky enough to ever stay here is one of the nicest people that you could ever meet! If anyone was ever suited for this position Nina is the one!
We went into Berwick two of the days and had a Great time exploring the area. (£2. 80 single fare )from the junction near to the camp.
I am a registered blind camper and I felt safe and secure on this campground!

Lovely quiet site, dog friendly and the warden Kirsty was really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The showers and toilets are clean and well maintained, the kitchen area is indoors, clean and spacious. Fab small site and would stay again.
There are also washing machines and dryers which can be used for a charge. There is electric hookup and taps on each pitch. Although there is wifi we never used it as we had good 4G mobile signal. If pitching a tent its worth noting it's gravel pitch and rock pegs are required. The campsite is right next to a honey farm, which closes at 5pm so it's very quiet after that.
The site is just down the road from Chainbridge which had some lovely views in the evening for a walk with the dogs, right on the border with Scotland. It is only a very short drive (5-10 mins) from Berwick.

This is a great site in a lovely part of the UK, adults only quiet and peaceful. We were lucky enough to be pitched overlooking the rose garden of the adjoining honey farm which was a bonus. We fed the many different wild birds. The facilities were good and suggestions from Kirsty were very useful.
We walked across the chain bridge towards Scotland and along the river tweed, enjoyed a healthy lunch at the honey farm and visited a local beach about 15 mins drive, all were interesting in their own way and added to our experience of Chain Bridge Caravan Park.
