We have just returned from a glorious week at this site. The site is well managed and beautiful with great views of the Dorest countryside all round - we had sea views and hill views from our caravan window.
The staff were very helpful (on the whole). The site is pretty unlevel so if you are touring with a big unit make sure you have your blocks and chocks at the ready! As other people have mentioned the lane getting to the site is very tight so beware - if two caravans were to meet on that lane it could be tricky.
The toilet block was not very clean when we were there - but it was peak season so I didn't expect much anyway - but general housekeeping around the bins etc. Could have been better. The pool and gym that was available for use at the other site (highlands end) was great and I would recommend it especially if you have kids.
The shop on site is well stocked and the pub by the beach has decent food and great views. The only other grumble we had (nothing to do with the site) was the traffic which was very bad in the week we were there.
Overall I would thoroughly recommend this site for a great holiday - good fishing, great beaches and very quiet and friendly.

I have just returned from a 8 night stay here with my 9 year old and 16 month old. We had a fantastic time, we camped in the area 9 field, large sloped field with wonderful views. Although we were on a slope we were very comfortable during our stay.
The toilet block is a short walk or you can drive further in to the larger block, both were clean. The location of the park is perfect, tucked away but a 10 min stroll through the park to the beach.
The road leading to the site is narrow but there are plenty of pull in's and so we never found this a problem. My son in particular loved the camping field and spent the whole holiday making friends, playing football and cricket every day, we will definitely be returning!

Great site!
Thought according to their web site we could only book a minimum of three nights, so took off without booking thinking if we get in we get in. If not will have to find another site.
When we arrived the lady in reception was very helpful. We booked for two night in area 9 camping field which is large field without electric with great views across the countryside and sea. Slightly long walk to toilets but they were clean with lots of hot water. Showers were good but water did go a bit hot and cold but once you got used to it is was fine.
The site is in a lovely position with a short walk to the beach and local pub (food is excellent). Lots of cliff walks available from this site.

What a lovely site to visit, nice and peaceful, virtually on a beach, clean and tidy and easy to get to (apart from the lane that is a bit narrow, but nothing insurmountable!)
The pitch we had was a bit sloping but nothing too bad, there are plenty of levelling blocks in boxes around the site. There are also plenty of water points around the site too.
I would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone, in fact we will be visiting here on plenty more occasions.
The shower/toilet block is a little dated but clean enough (although it could do with some 'J Cloths' so that you can clean up after yourself)
Our 17 year old only came camping this weekend as the site has a fishing lake, which isn't huge but it kept him entertained for most of the day!

The site is immaculately clean, the toilets and showers were clean every time we used them. The grounds were tended to every day, this is the cleanest site we have ever been to, we have been touring and camping for 30 years.
The surrounding countryside is fantastic with views to the sea, if you like walking this site is perfect. The local pub sited on the cliff has good ales, food a bit pricey but quite nice.
Nearby is West bay which is lovely with its little harbour. Beer is a quaint little place alright for half a day, Lyme regis is also very nice a little bit busier, overall everywhere is beautiful with thatched cottages.
The staff at this site are all very friendly

Have just spent three days, in very inclement weather, staff very friendly and helpful, very beautifully situated site and excellent food at the anchor pub just a stones throw from the site.
The road leading to the site is very narrow and is not helped by touring caravans not adhering to the arrival times stipulated by the site, this is no way a reflection on the site which is well run and well organised.
Showers and toilets very clean, grounds very tidy and well kept,a ideal place for touring West Dorset

The site is in a lovely position, site staff very friendly and helpful. Clean showers, good shop, great pub. Lyme Regis is great and Bridport good for shops. Have been going for 5 years in September, does get very busy at other times. You need to find the right spot to get the sun at the end of the day and some spots have a really nice view. Its a wonderful place for walking.

Just lovely! perfect location. Very clean toilets and showers and plenty of them! always cleaned and checked. The pub on the hill the Anchor has lovely food and is a great place to watch the sunset but does get busy so get your seat out side on the hil early. Beautiful costal walks over the cliffs.
One caution would be the little lane on the way in, watch out for on coming traffic.
Great campsite!

We loved this site it had a real festival feel to it which my two daughters 12 & 13 loved. Great to be near beach and views stunning. The pub by the beach did good food and overall was very pleased and will definitely visit again. Washing and showering facilitiies were basic but adequate and field 9 which we were in was huge and enough room for everyone to have a good sized pitch and maintain privacy. Shop was basic but good range.

A lovely site in a lovely location, perfect for coastal walks and day trips in the local area.
We arrived and were allowed to pitch straight away. We were with friends but managed to find 2 pitches together. Slight slope but nothing too much to worry about. Pitches quite close together on area 4, plenty of room to sit out, for tables and chairs but, not loads of room for kids to play. There is a separate area but is away from the camping area. Shower block is lovely, different types of shower rooms to cater for individuals or families. Was cleaned regularly, slightly muddy floors at times but the wet weather was to blame, not the staff! Mops were available to use at all times. Good shop, sold papers and essentials, reasonable prices. Good pub down by the seafront, gets busy though! Nice beach, the shingle stream kept the kids occupied for ages!
Only downside was the bad weather days! Gets very windy, area 4 ok but don't go to area 9! Sunny days were lovely though! All in all, a good site, very friendly and helpful staff, will return!
