Fantastic Site. First visit there with my husband and two children aged 8 and 9. We have booked to go back.
Shower block very clean, within a short walking distance which was also well lit up. A fabulous play play area for the kids which kept them entertained all day.
All the tent pitches are marked marked out so there is no overcrowding and plenty of space for the children to play ball games etc.
There is a shop, and a cafe if you don't want to cook, although we never tried the cafe. The staff were very friendly and even showed us to our pitch.
There is also a local pub within a 5 minute walk which does great bar meals, and it is only 6 miles into Scarborough.
Would recommend with out hesitation.

Just visited this site in our tent, very clean and friendly site. Plenty of good clean toilet and shower blocks. Good sized tent pitches.
The only draw back is that the site is really only geared up for caravans and motor homes as there is no electric hook ups, toilet blocks or fresh water taps in the tent fields.
The site is very well kept as a nice playground for the kids, a nice cafe at decent prices and a little shop.
As on most sites we visit the other campers were a friendly bunch and everyone seemed to have consideration for other peoples enjoyment and kept the noise down late at night.
All in all a really nice stay and would go back again

Just arrived home after 4 nights at this site, it was our first trip in our caravan, we couldn't have picked a nicer site, showers excellent, room for me and 2 kids in the cubical with room to spare.
Plenty of hot water really clean, toilets spotless saw the wardens giving it a regular clean, play area for kids great ours are 6,6 and 11 staff really friendly will be returning 10 out of 10.
Went into pickering and saw the steam trains kids thought that was great, also a trip into scarborough to the beach.

Fantastic site! We've visited this site several times over the past 2 years, with and without children at various times of the year. Staff very friendly and helpful, facilities excellent, will continue to use this site. We like the short walk to the local pub, good range of last minute items in the shop and very useful tourist information 'shed'. My kids enjoyed the large venture playground area and we enjoyed the proximity to the local village for walks and he coast fro day trips. Stayed twice in adult only area but to be honest, the whole site is peaceful and a pleasure to stay at.

We have our van stored on this site and know that it is secure as there are staff on duty all year round.
The wardens are very friendly and helpful with showers always kept spotlessly clean and a cafe serving a variety of dishes.
We stay on the adults only area which is nice and quiet; there are specially designed playing fields for families, with sheep and alpacas in the field for young children.
The dog walk is superb with regularly mown paths. There is no need to go off site to exercise your dog if it is bad weather. Dog waste bins are provided.
It is within easy distance of beaches at Scarborough and Filey, Whitby is approx. 25 miles away and Bridlington 15. You do need a car though as the bus service is not very frequent.
It's a brilliant site, I'm sure we'll be going for many more years. My husband would like a pub/some sort of entertainment on site though!

Lovely campsite, they took a group of lads in and long as we played by their reasonable rules they made us feel like home.
Lovely landscaping, free WIFI, nice clean showers & toilets. Had a cafe on site that did a brilliant full English. The staff were amazing friendly and helpful. The people staying their as well were amazing.
The only thing that could make this site absolutely perfect would be a freezer for campers as we found out our ice packs melted because of the amazing heat. We will be returning next time.

We have just spent the weekend at this site and found the warden and staff extremely helpful and very friendly. The site is well placed for travelling into Scarborough by car or bus and has plenty of well spaced and level gravel pitches. The toilets and shower block are a bit basic but kept nice and clean and are really warm. Good for both couples and families we would definitely stay again. Useful tip: Pitch at the back of the site to avoid road noise. Pub and craft shop nearby.Free wifi when we stayed.

Have stayed here a couple of times and we have always found the staff very helpful. The camping field is on two levels and there is plenty of space for the tents with enough space between each tent. The only down side on the tent field is there is no electric hook up but that doesn't spoil this lovely site. The site itself is very big with lots of caravans but that does not spoil the site the shower/toilet blocks are very clean even when the weather is not at the best, also the is a good children's play area

Recently spent 3 nights at the site, it's in a quiet location just 6 miles from Scarborough and easy reach to Whitby,Filey.
The park is nice and clean and friendly staff, on site shop and cafe which is basic. We were situated on the field by the children's play area which is great our 5 year old loved it, the pitch size was very good a little uneven but ok, the only thing about it that it was a walk to the toilets/pot wash and even further to the shower block, these were always kept nice and clean.
The wasps were a nightmare we had to keep the door closed just to keep hem out.
There are no electric hook ups available for tents the site is better equipped for touring caravan and tents seem to be a bit of an after thought and a bit pricey for what you get we paid £64 for the three nights, overall we enjoyed the stay.

This is a wonderful site with spotless facilities.
You never have to queue as there are plenty of showers and toilets.
The play area is superb, its a struggle to get the kids to come away.
The pitches are flat and spacious, you have plenty of room.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We have visited lots of sites but always find ourselves comparing them to St Helens, none have matched the high standards which is why we are drawn back time after time.
Lovely site that I would highly recommend a visit.
