Beautiful site, lovely pitches, great ale, delicious sausages, new & spotless shower/toilet/amenities block. Hosts Neil & Leslie couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Pig feeding and egg collecting were two of our 9 yr old daughters highlights with the sausage and beer tasting on Saturday night being one of mine. Children can enjoy the freedom of the site in safety. Can hardly believe such a great site was only £15 per night per pitch. Simply the best!

Have just arrived home after a really good long weekend on this site, It's only an hours pull so will be top of our return site list for short stays. Having read some of the other reviews there is very little I could add, other than to tell all my caravan friends how bad it was (joking) so that we may be able to go back. The owners were the ultimate hosts, not in your face but on hand should they be needed.
The facilities were the best we have encountered and the beer and sausage night was a really good way to break the Ice with fellow campers. Slots were a good size and the secure OFF lead exercise area was great as my GSD/Staffie loved a good run. The beer was excellent as well and not over priced.

Just had our 1st trip out in our newly purchased Dandy Dart and liked the look of The Secret garden so were lucky to get in at very little notice. We got a warm welcome and given a choice of 2 pitches in The Paddock. The pitches are a really good size each with a tap, waste disposal and light surrounded by pretty flowers and fruit trees.
It is very new but will be wonderful in a few years when the trees have matured a bit more.
The wetrooms are very clean and contain toilet, sink and shower with a fantastic electric hand dryer. There is also a big table tennis table, bookcase with good books, two sofa, s and a TV giving a view into all the nest boxes, a lovely idea.
I think the warmest welcome was from Vernon the ginger cat, who comes to greet all new campers and decided he was going to spend the night with us, but 3 in a bed was to much so it became just 2 in a bed at 2. 30 am ! much to his disgust, so he just stared in our window at us and then tapped on our door - but to no avail !
Went for a carvery at a pub just about a mile up the road called The Wheel - it was divine and well worth a visit, and they were all very friendly.
Will certainly go again when camping in that area.

Well what can I say that hasn't been said already! Had a lovely bank holiday weekend camping in the meadow area of the site. Was lovely that we had use of a fire pit without having to hire it. I know of some sites in Sussex that charge per night what we paid for 3 nights if you want a fire pit! We really enjoyed the beer and sausage tasting, our hosts were more than generous here and luckily the shop had enough for everyone! The covered BBQ area is a lovely touch and luckily for us it didn't rain but this is a nice feature if it does. I was really impressed too that the shop offers cash back which I haven't come across on a camp site before.
We can't wait to go back and try out one of the allocated pitches which looked lovely.
Visited Peckover House and Wisbech museum. Spent day on beach at Hunstanton and stopped by Rely on way back. Lots to do in the area for children.

We have enjoyed a May Bank Holiday Weekend at The Secret Garden.
This has second been our second visit to this lovely site and it has been a joy to see the development of the site over the past winter.
Leslie and Neil, wonderful and friendly site owners greeted us and were able to show us the new shop. It has all the basics at reasonable prices, and goes alongside the new microbrewery that is now in place.
The site hosts individual plots all with a fire pit to really enhance the outdoor experience. The site is one of outstanding natural beauty and was particularly stunning in the Spring sunshine. It is a haven for wildlife which is in abundance on the site.
The showers and family washrooms are the best we have ever encountered, superbly clean, showers always hot.
There is also a table tennis table available in a family room where you can also read from a selection of books on offer.
The owners were kind enough to host a 'real ale & sausage tasting' whilst we were there, showcasing the excellent produce made on site. Outstanding foods, very reasonably priced.
Nothing is too much trouble for them and they were very helpful with an issue we had with our van, for which we thank them.
Very good value at £15 per night and amongst the very best quiet sites you are likely to find anywhere in East Anglia.

What a gem! We had planned to stay here for one night, it was soon nice we ended up staying for four & did not want to leave. We will definitely return soon.
It is a small, relatively new, family run site. Offers excellent value for money at £15 per night. The owners could not have been more friendly & helpful. They let my husband use there yard to do a repair on our van, no problem.
The site is so pretty, clean tidy & well maintained. It is set on a farm, with pigs & chickens. Beautifully landscaped among trees, with birds singing, very relaxed & peaceful.
The best shower block we have come across so far. The showers are free with under-floor heating, but they ask for a charity donation. The laundry is 50p for wash & 50p for dryer.
There is a paddock for dog walking, which is very nice.
The only negative was it was a little difficult to find as it is not sign posted.

First time visit over BH. Superb site with well spaced pitches. Owners really friendly & helpful. Fab sausage tasting & beer from brewery on Saturday. Toilets & showers clean, spacious & free. Charity donations welcomed. Washing machine & tumble dryer available at 50p a go. Had a huge fire pit going on Sunday night, having collected wood from nearby woods. Will certainly return again & would not hesitate to recommend.

Camping heaven!
I can only repeat the superlatives which others have written here. This is the best small site we've found so far in the area: all facilities you could wish for including washing machine and fridge-freezer. This is a lovely site, quiet and comfortable, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Definitely try the beer from the on-site brewery (we were lucky enough to be on site during the brewery opening party, and all campers were invited!). Look out for Vernon the friendliest campsite cat ever. The site is within walking distance of Wisbech, well worth a look.
Many thanks to the owners and we'll be coming back soon!

This site is just as others reviews have said. Lovely, idyllic campsite with a determination to get it right but at the same time friendly and relaxed. Micro brewery great as is the beer it produces. All facilities spotless and well maintained. My wife is very fussy about this. Very closes to Wisbech for local shops and pubs etc. There is loads to do in this area including coastal beaches and historic towns like Ely and Cambridge. We just relaxed on site most of the time! Safe for kids to roam and play and site owners pro active in giving children opportunity to collect eggs, feed the pigs, etc. Brilliant!
