Just come back after 9 days at this site. Would DEFINITELY go again. The rain was horrendous, but we can't blame them for that. We had a great time. The toilet block was excellent, they were cleaned daily and despite the mud stayed remarkable clean. The entertainment for kids was great, we couldn't drag them away. They loved the pool, squash and table tennis. Everything was so clean, and the staff very helpful. 10/10!

This site is well set up for families with an exellent club, adults only bar, swimming pool, squash courts, well stocked shop, cafe and a chip shop which is open all day. The staff and wardens are all very helpful and friendly and cant do enough for you.The showers even though they are busy, are kept quite clean also. The only downside to the site is the size of the pitches, which are the smallest I've ever seen. Having paid extra for a so called super pitch I was very dissapointed to find that when the awning was erected we only had a foot of room in front of it before being greeted by the next caravaners car! So if you wanted to sit in the sun you had to sit in the road! There was no room for my car, so it had to be left in the car park. Oh and we had to share the tap and drain with next doors so called super pitch. Dont pay the extra for one they are a waste of money. A word of warning lock your stuff up, we had our aquaroll handel stolen also.

Excellent site, with nice pool complex, with good well stocked shop and reasonably priced take-away. Showers and toilets immaculate, and staff very friendly and helpful. The only slight drawbacks would be that the pitches were a little close together, and when the site became busier over the weekend a number of children kicking footballs next to the caravans, but would certainly visit again.

Very nice site. Think we were lucky as we got a good plot with plenty of space but envisage will be tightly packed come the busy school holidays. Very well equipped site with a great children's play area, excellent children's entertainment and a very safe feeling although on the weekend we spent there the toilet block could have done with a clean out. Will definitely return, would have spent our summer holidays there had they not been fully booked.

Arrived at this site on the spur of the moment ! They had quite a few spare service pitches available bonus for us so we booked straight on , and were escorted to our pitch by a very friendly warden , the pitch was excellent and very close to the toilet and shower blocks and I do have to say they were immaculate. The kids play ground is fantastic could not get our kids away from it. They had evening entertainment on for the kids that was fantastic and the bar was very well priced. The games room and swimming pool were also great. Overall We were well impressed with this site location, facilities and size of pitches. Will be returning again without fail Highly recommend this site .

This is an excellent site. Good entertainment at night for kids (or adults only upstairs), plenty of amenities (shop, bar, swimming pool, games, amusements, launderette, chippy and playing park), excellent shower block and good pitches. The pitches are well spaced and are set out in seperate areas shielded from any winds by tall hedges. There is also a decent pub just outside the site and Filey and Scarborough are both only a short drive away. Had a great time here and would highly recommend.

Very good, if a bit clinically set out. Club and pool excellent and the best showers I have experienced. The extra cost Star pitch didn't really offer an awful lot more than you'd expect from a regular pitch at other sites to be honest - Its not worth the extra cost. There's a great car boot sale at the bottom of the lane every Sunday. Food - there's a great Italian restaurant in Filey, and a good chinese chippy too for the nights you don't want to cook, only 2.5 miles away. There's a chip shop on the site but its opening hours are not very convenient. The only real criticism I have is that when I tried to book another weekend in July, they wouldn't take my booking as it was for ONLY two nights. Judging by the HUGE amount of empty pitches on the site in June, I seriously wonder if they can afford to alienate the weekenders in this way. Will probably go again, but have now booked an alternate , close by, site for my July weekend, and I may like that one better, and choose to go there again in future!

Overall a nice site although the pitches are very small. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the toilet block and ended up showering in the caravan most days which in turn meant more trips to the taps to refill! Our 5 year old loved the park and the kids entertainment at night - didn't visit the pool but it looked alright. Bit disappointed that there were loads of older kids on bikes on the kids park (also lots of signs prohibiting it) especially as they were riding in and out of the climbing frames. Shop was well stocked but pricey, next door is a fish and chip shop but we didn't try it. The staff were all very friendly and reception very knowledgeable about local area but still charged us for 2 nights awning and electric even though we weren't there which was a bit mean considering how much money they must make (didn't mind paying for the pitch but we didn't use any electric etc). Don't think we'd go back - although the site was ok, there wasn't very much to do in the area for families with young children.

We've just come back from our first family camping trip with our 2 girls aged 2 and 3 and had a fantastic time at this site. We couldn't have have chosen better and would highly recommend it especially for those with a young family. We camped on grass better than our lawn at home! the pitch was not huge but then they asked if our tent was bigger then 6ft when booking and ours was just under. All facilities were immaculately clean and tidy, toilet and shower block cleaned twice a day, was heated and there were plenty to use with no queueing. The girls loved the play area which was really very big with separate area for under 6s and plenty of room to play ball games. Really lovely swimming pool which there was a charge for again very clean. Club house provided good entertainment for the children, plenty of room, with an adult only bar upstairs. There was an excellent family Pub just down the road from the site which served lovely food. Although there were a lot of facilities on the site they did not intrude on those wanting a get away from it holiday and the site has a quiet, friendly feel too it, we felt very safe. Everyone was so friendly only wished we could have stayed longer and will hopefully be returning.

Having been caught before with non caravan club sites we were a little concerned before arrival, but on the whole were pleased with the site. Showers were hot and never too full, toilet and washing facilities clean. Pleasant staff on arrival including an apology for leaving us waiting for just a few minutes before they could take us to our pitch. Playground and pool very good. Only criticism (apart from weather) was that the pitches were close together - our car was parked right next to neighbours awning and our other neighbours car was parked so close to our awning we couldn't use that side as a door opening. There again it was half term and the site was full. Easy to find and on the main filey, scarborough road with each about 10 mins away. Plenty of large supermarkets in main seaside towns, but the site shop was very good also.
