Excellent campsite with first rate toilet/ shower facilities.
Best we have seen in our short but hectic time touring.
Will stay again on this campsite if in the area

A high quality site located in Harlech and set below Harlech castle. Easy access off the A496 in Harlech turn down Beach Road and the site is the second one on the right. The one with the eagle statue the first one has a dragon statue.
Once leaving reception drive through the static area to reach the touring area and your allocated pitch. All pitches have a water and waste point and 16 amp electricity. The hardstanding part is small and you have to drive across a small patch of grass to get to it. The touring pitches are in paddocks off the main road thorough the site.
There is one large facilities block which is very modern with key pad entry and also located here is the Chemical Disposal, recycling area etc. Next to it is a very large Motorhome Point but it has the drain covers (four) rather than our preferred drive over grill.
Harlech itself in our view did not have much open and was a bit disappointing. There is a small supermarket in Beach Road where you first turn in plus a couple of cafe's in the lower and upper part of Harlech. We walked up to Harlech castle which is quite steep and took us about 20 mins but it is worth the visit.
The castle has an excellent café with great views. You can also access the beach by walking the other way down Beach Road. There is a train station in Harlech which takes can you to Barmouth in one direction or Porthmadog in the other but we did not use it on this visit.
Overall very nice site with great facilities and great views of the castle and mountains but as previously stated we were a bit disappointed with Harlech itself. However we would happily stay here again.

Well. Some site this. Not a blade of grass our of order. All the Statics in perfect uniform formation. Facilities foe the 100 pitches as described. Biggest floor heated toilet cubicles I have ever encountered. Steve Wright, Sarah Fox etc all there to entertain you as you go about your ablutions.
All smallish hardstanding pitches no good for a largish awning. (not allowed on grass!)
Excellent gray water facility. Please remove the hatch while using. Someone was too lazy when we were there n flooded the area!
Some very fast walkers go there. 5/10 min walk over dunes to the NO DOG (april/ Sept) Beach if you take the car down to the P&D carpark or 15/20min walk from site down a quiet road.
Can't comment on children's facilities.
Did not use dog area.
So 10/10 notionally but not our cup of tea.

Loved this site great for running along the beach or serious hill training up to Harlech and beyond.
Shop up the road was ok but we did have to travel to Porthmadog for a bigger shop (22 minute drive) convenient train to Barmouth or the other way to Porthmadog criccieth or phwelli.
Queens hotel was booked on Saturday night but Ship aground pub 10mins drive was really nice food.
Weather was really good too which helps.
Couldn’t fault site itself 5 stars and nice to see a football pitch with 2 decent sized goals for the kids

A superb site overlooked by Harlech castle with an immaculate toilet/shower block.
Pitches are large, flat and I believe all premium pitches.
Easy walk to the sand dunes/beach or the other way to Harlech where there are two hotels that do food late aft. /eve as well as the local supermarket.
The train station at Harlech can take you to Barmouth or Porthmadog, there is also a bus service along the road too.
If I had any complaint about the site it would be too many yapping dogs!

Campervan pitch booked. Good location near to amenities. These were very clean and modern.
Due to poor weather site drainage could be improved as roads were flooded.
WiFi was very intermittent and did not meet advertised availability.
No shop on site and only convenience store local to site.

1st class site in a 1st class location. Owned by Salop Leisure who know a thing or to in setting up touring parks that please people like us.
The fully serviced pitch is just large enough for our van and awning all contained on the gravel surface. Parking for car is on the grass opp the front of the van.
The shower block is just superb, so spacious and real quality. Manicured grass, trimmed shrubs and trees and nothing overgrown. Decent children's play area and a dog walk area.
Close to the beach, 10 mins walk over the dunes. As you enter the park there is a dog shower.
One of the best we've stayed in. Harlech to Barmouth coast road spectacular coastal scenery to boot.

Fantastic site beautifully kept, hard standing for our van was flat which helps a lot, electric hook up point, water and drain right behind our pitch.
