Very surprised when we pulled up, we were greeted by a member of staff and they checked us in, no need to get out off the car and they took us to our pitch.
A short walk to the toilet block and a little further for the disabled one, both blocks clean, ( from our pitch).
The on site pub / restaurant was busy and fair priced.
5 minutes to Hereford with all the shops one needs.

Depending on what you want from a campsite there's some good stuff and some compromises here for tents:
* immaculately presented "formal" site - clipped lawns, neat paths, good for scooters and bikes
* large pitches available
* nice small play area for under 12s
* no formal playing field as such, but a good sized grass area.
* access to the river. Note that you wont be sitting looking at the water as there's a wall / mound the length of the site and a steep bank down to the water. There are steps for access. You can see the river from the bar / restaurant though.
* quiet at night.
* the camping pitches felt a long walk to the nearest toilets and washing up. That said, I was on the farthest pitch and timed it at 3. 5 minutes each way which doesn't sound much, but it felt far.
* the bins are even further away
* nice bar and decent price. The pint of Butty Bach was tremendous.
* plenty of washing up sinks and a laundrette
* no open fires. BBQs are OK.
* there are signs / rules / warnings EVERYWHERE. I don't want to run around annoying people, but it was bordering on obsessive. I accept the intention is to keep order for the good of everyone on a fairly large site with lots of seasonal people in statics and tourers.
It's a big site without being too big, and it's broken down into different areas with lots of trees and shrubs.
As a camper, you won't be connecting with nature or toasting marshmallows on a fire if that's your thing.

This is another 'diamond' site - great location with easy 5-mile access to Hereford, superb facilities and the friendliest, most helpful staff you can find. All new arrivals are led to their pitch and fed with all the vital info.
There are three facility blocks spread across the site, all clean and well maintained, as is the site overall. Pitches are mostly generous in size and not too cramped, with a number backing onto the river. Dog walking is a bit limited, to a long, narrow avenue of trees along the site perimeter. There are also large, grassed areas but on-lead only.
The reception and shop is large and open all day. Attached is a large bar/restaurant with lots of outside tables next to the river, which is open most of the day / evening in peak season.
Our only (minor) complaint would be that they are a bit obsessive about mowing the grassed areas - mowers are a distraction on most days and IMHO the grass is kept far shorter than necessary.

A very pleasant site that gave ample plot sizes, some of which like ours, gave a great view of the sunset of an evening.
The toilet and shower facilities were always clean and the staff were always friendly.
The on site shop had most of the essentials but if anything else was required, a bus to Hereford stops outside the main gate.
Around the site and across the road, we explored plenty of walking areas for the dog.
A good base explore that area of the Cotswolds.

An amazing site and our favourite by far.
Just back from a short weekend and as ever loved it there, site is peaceful and immaculately clean and so well kept and staff always friendly and helpful.
Riverside Bar on site is great, food great and just sitting alongside the Wye watching the world go by is so relaxing and peaceful.
If ever we were to decide to go from a tourer to static or full time seasonal pith this is the place we'd go to.

Beautiful site next to river wye. Immaculately kept grounds. Ample toilet / shower blocks spotlessly clean
Bar on site was good, sitting out by the river with a glass of wine
Close proximity to forest meant beautiful birdsong.
Two pontoons allowing convenient launching of my kayak

We stayed here for four nights over the early May Bank holiday weekend. The pitch was enormous and flat.
TV point to plug into on pitch.
Facilities were first class and always clean, except some users too idle to mop up after using the showers.
Site has a bar and restaurant which we used once for a meal, and a couple of times for a drink outside by the river.
Will definitely use again.
Booking is advised as it gets full.

The site is the cleanest site we've ever been to.
Lawns were immaculate.
Plants were immaculate.
Cafe bar was immaculate, our 2 dogs were made welcome as we were.
I had to ask the maintenance team for help and they came and helped me.
Nothing was too much trouble and 90% of the people using the site were friendly, chatting and helpful. You can't talk to everyone I suppose.
We will definitely be returning just as soon as we can fit them back in.

What an excellent site, clean and well run.
Nice restaurant/bar.
There is canoe hire on site for trips on the River Wye unfortunately it was to early in the season so it was closed.
Really enjoyed our stay going book again for the summer

A lovely, peaceful and very clean site with ample sized pitches.
The view from the river is great.
Staff very friendly on arrival and serving in shop.
Restaurant on site is an added bonus-with excellent home cooked meals in a homely atmosphere.
Bus stop right outside the campsite gates is handy for going into Hereford etc.
Very dog friendly.
We have booked to return in May.
