Couldn’t be better located for A1 motorway access, and the local town with a supermarket is just a ten minute drive away.
The usual C&CC friendly and helpful welcome from wardens, and a speedy check-in.
An open and well maintained site with plenty of space between pitches.
Steep steps over the flood defence(?) to the spotless facilities, but with ramps providing easy disabled access.
Will definitely use this site again as a stopover but will hopefully find time to explore the town and local area next time.

Easy access, lovely big fields with choice of grass or hardstanding and with or without electric.
Could do with more water points or more central location, facilities spotless but showers far too small, no bench just loose stool in each and push button every 10 seconds to keep water flowing.
Local town of Boroughbridge is 0. 9 miles away, we are not fast walkers and it took us 25 minutes in searing heat.
There are 2 butchers, a bakery/sandwich shop, 2 cafes, very small with couple of tables on pavement, a Spar, a couple of home interior/gift shops and a hardware shop.
On the way you pass 3 standing stones (the Devils arrows) dating back to 2700BC.
Bus from gate but only 3 per day so check your timings.

Easy access just off motorway. Lovely quiet site. Brilliant dog walk and off lead field too.
Nice big pitches and spotless facilities.
Nice walk into town where there are some lovely cafe’s, bakers, butchers etc.
Easy access to near by places of interest and short drive to York.
Bus stop right at he site entrance.
Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem for them.
We enjoyed it so much we booked for next year.
And of course the lovely Molly always made me smile.

Great offer, 25% discount on four nights mid week.
Great location easy walk into town which is lovely with lots of good cafes and pubs, nice selection of shops.
Great wardens very helpful, all facilities are kept very clean
One of the best motorhome service points we have seen
Good range of pitch, grass, gravel hardstanding and concrete hardstanding which is what we had.
Lovely pitch overlooking the river lots of birds to watch and we even had a ferret on our pitch!

An ideal site for travelling as so close to A1.
Wardens pleasant and facilities always spotless.
Tried to book a night on return journey in November but fully booked.

Another visit to Boroughbridge, , our 3rd of the year. I doubt if it will be the last visit of the year as it is so handy for York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon.
We chose a grass pitch this time as it’s nice and easy to put in the pegs for the awning. It may be an idea to have some chocks for these pitches as some of them are not quite level – nothing too much- but they may help.
We think that we have tried all the small coffee shops now in Boroughbridge and like them all.
There is a pub in Marton/Grafton, which is not very far away, that does excellent food. It’s the only one in the village.
It’s also one of the places to eat on the list at the site. Can’t comment on the beer as I didn’t try it because I was driving. It seems to have limited opening hours so may be worth a phone call before making the journey.

This was the second time I have stayed on this site this year and it never fails to impress me.
The wardens are friendly and very helpful and the site is very clean and tidy.
It has all you could want for a very pleasant stay.
I have a dog and the site has an enclosed and secure field to exercise my dog in.
I would recommend this site to all.

A pleasant campsite to stay in.
Clean facilities with toilet roll and soap provided, warm showers and even a hairdryer in the ladies.
Although these get closed for cleaning between 10. 30am and 12 everyday this isn't a problem as the family room is made available and we spent the day out so had left the premises by then.
The codes gates provides an extra feel of security and we were lucky enough to pitch on a flat surface opposite the park so we could keep an eye on the children from the tent. This did then mean it was a bit more of a trek to the toilets in the night though.
The staff were also really friendly and we'll definitely be wanting to return.
