 A lovely quiet site, easily accessible and well serviced.
All facilities were excellent.
I reported a broken toilet seat and it was fully repaired the next day.

Super site with good sized pitches.
Toilet and shower block were immaculate. Shower push button valves don't allow much time for water flow, this is the only downside encountered during the stay.
Short walk to the village where there are a good choices of places to eat and drink

Fancy place to stay central for most of the lake district for what we wanted
Very clean and tidy site,
The shower blocks were spotless to say the least,
must be good cus I'm going back in mid may,

Very clean site, well equipped, great location for walking, cant fault the campsite.
Although a form of drying room would be a good addition to the site.

A lovely site, situated on the edge of Hawkshead village, with beautiful views all round.
Plenty of good pitches and very good facilities. Shower and toilet block cleaned every day, also a family shower room which was really handy for our little girls.
Very good kitchen with enough sinks for washing up, and a large freezer for ice packs. Laundry room. There's also a TV room which we didn't use but it looked very comfortable and tidy.
A short walk along the beck into the village, plus plenty of other walks in the area, from short around the village walks to slightly more challenging, up to Latterbarrow or Tarn Hows.
The site was nice and quiet, even with a few children playing during the day. Nights were really peaceful.
Will definitely be staying again.

Perfect small quiet site.
Immaculate facilities.
Large well kept pitches.
Great location.
Long and short walks in every direction right from the site.
Flat off road 10min walk into Hawkshead for lovely pubs/ tea rooms and shops.
Will be going back on our next visit to the Lakes.

Beautiful location, close to Hawkshead village with shops, pubs, and playing areas for the kids.
Campsite is lovely and quiet, very clean and well impressed with the shower and cleaning facilities.

Very clean, super helpful,
We are novices and they made sure we were totally comfortable and at ease.
Great toilet and washing facilities -think recent renovation.
Top notch. Very accessible to for all of the hot spots in the Northern Lakes.

Lovely, quiet site. The wash blocks were the best I have ever encountered at a campsite.
The touring pitches are hard standing and have electric, water and grey water waste.
No playground, but it rained a lot when we were there so it wasn't a big loss for us.
