What an amazing site, great facilities for an Island site.

I think the last reviewer must have been somewhere else. Great, hot showers, best laundry machines we've seen, nice common room with lots of info for visitors, very friendly welcome,

The lady who runs the site works very hard and even picks up all the stuff the local deer leave behind !

Great location with bus stops near the entrance.

We would recommend and would certainly return.

A lovely campsite close the the shore.

Lots of wildlife to be seen nearby and perfect location for the Lochranza car ferry.

We made use of the golf course on site and also the shop which was stocked with a few essentials.

We would definitely return!

Full marks here at Lochranza from me.

Perfect location, friendly helpful staff and great facilities, and very reasonably priced.

I'll definitely come back here again.

Hard to describe the stunning location to do it justice. The site is in a steep sided valley, with the port at top end

Staff friendly and informative, good family vibe. Facilities are clean and pleasant, water hot. Good communal room and outdoor cooking shed

Fab walk down to the castle, with a good communal pub opposite.

Try the walk round the bay to the "fairy glen", and of course visit the distillery, which serves high class food

The campsite is situated on your right as you come into Lochranza, with the Distillery on your left.

The site offers plenty of space and the warden accommodated our large tent on a nice pitch. He also offered some tips on pitching at the site was quite exposed and high winds were expected. He also lent us an extension cable for the electricity. So very welcoming team!

The facilities were great. With hot water, a small room with local information and also an outdoor kitchen if you needed this.

The site was great and you mixed with the wildlife with deer and sheep nearby! We played the 9 hole pitch and put which was nice. Clubs hired out at a reasonable price.

All in all, a great campsite and we will be back!

Facilities are very good - clean and plenty of hot water. Grass pitch a lot of sheep and deer dropping - level pitches with EHU and water points close by. Staff are friendly.

Sadly the site needs to get rid of those old dirty caravans just perishing away - just an eyesore.

Note Lochranza there are no shops or fuel available so be prepared. Nice scenery and a whisky distillery opposite the site. Nice cafe there.

Note to the e road from Lochranza to Brodrick is appalling. - pot holes everywhere.

Would I return- no

This is a lovely, quiet campsite with excellent facilities in a beautiful setting.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The Loch is stunning and there is are several coastal walks that are all worth doing.

We saw seals, a golden eagle, a hen harrier amongst many other interesting birds. The area is a must for bird watching. There are red deer and red squirrels that can be seen from the campsite.

We were lucky to have two clear nights for stargazing, totally unspoilt by light pollution.

The distillery is definitely worth a visit. The Stag Pavillion is open for meals Thursday to Sunday, but was fully booked when we were there.

There are no shops or pubs nearby, so come prepared. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic, picturesque site in the valley of Lochranza.

A very short walk to the Arran Distillery, where you can escape to the cafe if it's raining.

Well-run site with excellent, clean facilities. Very accommodating with a late-notice change in bookings due to an issue with the ferries.

Very affordable, and a lovely atmosphere.

Be advised that at the time of visiting the Stags Pavilion was closed until further notice, and the shop and pub in Lochranza have shut, leaving no other facilities apart from the Distillery and a 25 minute drive to Brodick.
