Visit this site every year at least twice, for the last 5 years. Each time the welcome is very warm and friendly by both the owner and the wardens.
We really enjoy the location which is ideal for all looking for a safe place for children to play. We also take our dogs and they too are catered for with their own separate play/ walking area.
The wardens do a fantastic job of keeping the site clean and tidy, as this is quite a large site.
The shower / toilet area is spotless, and again like someone has commented everyone respects the noise level rules after 10pm
we will be returning again for a holiday can't wait.

We really like this site, it is very clean and tidy, good toilet and wash facilities, and for us ideal for a relaxing break with our 6 year old son. Lots of space between pitches which are a mix of grass and hardstanding, you can choose your preferred type. We have stayed on the site twice this year, and received the same warm welcome from the owner and wardens on each occasion. The no noise at night policy is great, everyone seems to respect it, with no sounds to be heard after 11pm other than the owls, its not the place for a rowdy time, and its one of the reasons we rate it so high.

We sited our caravan here for the whole month of August and had an absolutely fabulous time. That good that we are definitely thinking of siting it here for the season next year!
I can not understand any of the bad reviews this site has, as for the whole month we had nothing but a brilliant time with our two children aged 4 and 5, and no complaints. The warden was extremely friendly and helpful. And when we did need him (one morning after a very rainy night) he helped us out fixing and giving advise on our awning.
We felt the site was very safe and very child friendly. The playarea was great for our kids and the large grass areas in front of all the caravans was an extra bonus as the children could all play together while we could still keep an eye on them. The paved roads were ideal for the little ones biking.
A car is needed for this site as down a single laned road with no pavements so strolling down to Benllech is do able but not so safe if you have small children.
The beaches were great - we especially liked Lligwy beach where most of our days were spent.
On bad weather days (not that many to mention) there are loads of things to see and do on Anglesey and we never got bored. We found that most mornings were a bit ropey weather wise, but 9 out of 10 times the afternoons always cleared up to a beautiful day.
The only comment I would make of the site is even though the toilet and shower blocks are clean, they could do with being modernised. Or even knocking down and re building. This doesn't mean that they are bad, its just nice to go to the toilet and shower in slightly nicer surroundings.
Overall a fantastic site that will definitely see us again.
Well done and thank you.

Just returned from a week on this site. Like the site so much thinking of a seasonal pitch next year! As for the warden we found him helpful and chatty. Love the open spaces, not a bit 'caravan suburbia', There are large grassy areas and the best play area/space we have seen. We also like the tarmac roads, which having 2 little ones who like riding their bikes was ideal. The toilet blocks could have perhaps been a little cleaner but lots of hot water and a good long shower for 10p (hairdryer was free!). Overall 9.5 out of 10!

I have been visiting this camp site for many years and have always been happy with the very friendly welcome by the owner Phil and his previous warden. However, for the past two years since a new warden has been working there I have found it a very uncomfortable place to stay, he is rude, unwelcoming and very unhelpful.
I accept that camp sites must have rules, rules which he vigorously enforces however I find it unacceptable that everyone else has to abide by 5mph rule for the safety of children, he happily roars around the site putting everyone at risk, which as a mother of 3 children I find quite upsetting.
This was the first time I have seen this site with spaces during a summer holiday and speaking to other campers a lot of us will not be returning due to this new warden. A terrible shame that one man can ruin what was such a fantastic site.

This is a well looked after site and we have been visiting regularly for a couple of years. Flat pitches, clean site and great location. You can walk to the beach within 15 minutes. There are a couple of local pubs, takeaways and supermarkets also within walking distance. Great for coastal walks and the beach.
The site is a mixture of statics, tourers and tents. About 5 fields in all. It has a games field, playground/swings, 2 large toilet blocks and 1 smaller log cabin shower / toilet block with dishwashing facilities. The log cabin seemed less cared for than the brick toilet/shower blocks which were always much cleaner.
The bins are always emptied and the grass is always being cut. This site does have a lot of rules. I think this benefits the site, but only to a point - that point being when the warden starts shouting at small children for having a football out in the wrong field.

We have been visiting this site since 2001 and have always been very happy with our stay. Unfortunately, on the last two visits we have experienced very negative reception from the warden. He appears to be reluctant to allow groups to be together and children do not appear welcome. It would be a crying shame for this site to suffer at the hands of this warden.
The owner has always been helpful and very friendly.

This was a very pleasant site and reasonably priced. There are picnic tables dotted around the site which is a nice touch. The facilities are very clean.
We had a choice on where to pitch and there was certainly plenty of options, as the site is split into various fields.
We have a dog and there are lots of ways to get off the site to walk her.

We have just returned from Plas Uchaf having spent the week leading up to the early Spring Bank Holiday on the site. We took our little grand daughter (3 yrs old in June) and we all loved the site.
It was clean well set out with loads of room for little one to run around on grass she had a ball. I think that was the thing that struck us most was the space between vans / tents the best I've experienced.
The toilets and showers were spotless and the only charge was 10p for showers. The warden Mac was so friendly nothing was too much trouble and he always had time for a chat.
We have been caravanners for 4 years and this is definitely one of the best sites we have been on. The area around the site is fantastic with loads to do but the best was building sand castles on Benllech beach or crab catching on the pier at Beaumaris. I would with out doubt recommend this site

My wife and I, along with our demented border collie, visited this site over the weekend to test / use our new tent and to see how the dog would react to camping for the first time. We chose this site as it was close to relatives in the event of an emergency but we didn't have to use them.
The site was very easy to find (signposted form the main road) and easy to navigate around. We were greeted by the wardens, booked in and directed to the field we were to pitch in.
Surprisingly, with respect to the glorious weather, the field was empty and we could choose where to pitch and we were spoiled for choice. The entire site is well laid-out, well-drained and from each pitch within seconds of a tap / electricity point.
There are a couple of toilet blocks on site with a third including showers and a wash-up area for those in need. The facilities were spotlessly clean, water for washing and showering hot and there was even a hairdryer available (in the gents!).
Despite the lack of campers there were plenty of caravanners on site including some young families (we left our 3 monster with relatives) but there was not a peep of trouble. The site has a play area for the little ones which is both out of the way and open enough to give a sense of relief for parents without the kids being out of sight.
The location was very good too. Just secluded enough to be quiet but also within a 20 minute walk of Benllech centre where there a few pubs, restaurants, takeaways, shops and a petrol station. A few more minutes down the hill and there's a VERY nice beach with its' own facilities too.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Despite heavy rain on Saturday night / Sunday morning the site drained well so we didn't even struggle on that account. The owner (Rhona I believe) was very nice to speak to when we booked (as was her mother - a fantastic sales-person!) and the staff were courteous and helpful (especially when the dog escaped for half an hour!).
We will definitely be visiting again.
