Arrived at 0800 to join friends on the rally field for 3 days of fun and we were very impressed with what we could see of the site. The whole site was very clean and well maintained as were the toilets / shower block. The friendly wardens greeted us on arrival and were happy to answer any questions we had. We are more than happy to recommend this site to anyone thinking of camping on Anglesey and we will be back for a longer visit next year.

We phoned up on Friday morning, spoke to the very friendly owner who said there was a 99% chance that they could accommodate our 2 tents that night. He sounded confident so we did the 3 hour drive to what turned out to be a very good campsite. We were a little warey of turning up at a site we hadn't seen and were relying on the very positive reviews read on this website. (Thank you reviewers). The showers (10p for a very long shower of very warm water) were clean every time we visited. I'm sure there was underground heating too! The pitches were level with a good deal of space around and at £8 a night for the unit we were very pleased. Our friends payed the extra £2 for electric hook up. There was a tap between every 2 tents. We were a little disappointed that there was no obvious curfew as our 2 year old was disturbed by some very excited children from 9pm till around 11pm. We had the option of using the half bath to wash him in rather than the shower which was useful. Benllech was a short walk (around a mile) the chip shops were great, the pub with the family room was not and I would not recommend it.maybe we hit it at a bad time but dried out food after an hours wait with no apology or explanation! Lots of shops for those forgotten bits (disposable BBQ.the wardens were happy for us to BBQ and there were bricks around the site to sit them on). EXTREMELY good value for money, the climbing frame, tennis court, space around the tents and picnic benches added that finishing touch.

Just spent 4 days at this wonderful site and remembered why we keep going back. The camp is spotlessly clean as always and there were no complaints about the amount of visitors we received during our stay, Having family and numerous friends on the island that like to drop in did not phase the wardens at all. A barbecue was no problem at all and a good time was had by all. For families with children there are plenty of facilities so no complaints of being bored. We look forward to our next stay.

Just picked this site at random, what a gem of a site, lovely kept site toilets , wash rooms, pitches all first class. Owner and Wardens very friendly and a very reasonable price at £10 for unit with two persons + hookup Will certainly be going again.

Just returned from an extended Bank Holiday weekend at Plas Uchaf. Best camp site I have stayed on since I started again 8 years ago. Lovely clean, warm shower / wash block. Friendly, helpful warden. Will stay here again when next we return to Anglesey. 'Nuff said.

I have just spent a lovely two week break over the Easter period on this campsite with my family. There is not much I can add to what has already been said about this campsite, but I have to say that all the other reviews are spot on. It is a safe place for children, the toilets and showers are immaculate (even over the busy Easter weekend). We were so impressed that we have booked to come back in the summer, which is the first time that I have returned to a campsite I usually like to try somewhere new. So all in all EXCELLENT.

This is one of the best campsites I have ever been to. We have been using this site now for the past 7 years. The site is clean and well looked after, over the years I have seen the changes that have been put in place, new kitchen block with sinks and freezer for camping, new shower compartments in the toilet blocks that included heated flooring. Kids are really safe and have plenty of space to play in. The manager and also the owner are really nice and really make me feel welcome, so much so that when we go they keep an eye out for children to make it that extra safe place to take them.
Having a tent and also my parents having a caravan the site is extremely spacious, with an additional tent field that is open throughout the season to add extra space. They really do try to make you feel at home and go out of the way to help you out. Its a nice walk from the campsite to Benllech but it is also easy to access most of the main routes to other places in Angelsey. It is a really well kept and friendly site.

Our first time camping and we enjoyed it so much we are booking again, campsite immaculate, the toilets were sparkling. Everyone helped us settle in and we hardly saw the kids as they were playing on the swings or the tennis court all weekend. I only hope this is how all campsites are like although from what other people said they all aren't. Everyone seemed to have been back to this site loads of times and i know why, Great well recomended
