We have been going to this site for 7 years and have on two of those years had a seasonal pitch, so that shows we liked it.
However, when we arrived at Easter this year it was terrible weather with snow, rain, wind etc etc. The warden insisted we went onto grass pitches which were water logged. There were hardstanding available as hardly any outfits were there but he told us they were for motorhomes. Over the weekend the water logged pitches got worse and to make us even more fed up they put caravans on the pitches we had been toldwe could not have.
In our party were 3 caravans, 4 children under 10, 2 dogs and an 8 month pregnant lady.
We feel that the site has changed considerably in the last 2 years. It is very sad that after all these years we are no longer made welcome. We will just take away some fond memories but it does leave a bitter taste.

This site is fantastic. We were met by Phil and he was very patient and extremely helpful in the dark and rain and could see we were very green at this caravan towing malarky! He didn't take our payment and said he'd 'see us before we go'.
The site in the light of day was lovely- very open with lots of clean and well presented facilities easily accessible from toilet / shower blocks to water points etc. As it was early in the season the gardener was there and the wardens were arriving - we got a reduction as Phil said the site wasn't ready yet! Well if what we saw and experienced was a site not ready I can't see how it could get any better!
Will definitely be going back and Benllech has everything you need including a lovely bay beach with fantastic views. No where is far on Anglesey so the location is ideal. Can highly recommend! But don't tell too many people!

arrived later than planned on the Friday night and, as advised, picked our own spot and pitched our unit. The rain was pelting down and the wind was fearsome. However, the site was sheltered and the ground was so well looked after that once the tent was up we had no problem with either wind, rain or boggy ground.
Met the owners on Saturday and all I can say is what nice people! Friendly, helpful and the site reflects this.
The toilets and showers were very clean, despite the weather, and the showers were very warm. I can honestly say that even though the weather and time of year were against us, the site owners and the care they have put into the site made this a very enjoyable weekend, I can't wait to go again when the weathers better!
The only slight criticism is that there is no site shop but it's only 0.8 mile from a supermarket so ignore this if you want.

A brilliant and well maintained site, certainly worth 5 stars with the wardens being the most helpful we have found. We actually moved off a caravan club member site to Plas Uchaf because of the additional bits you get! No faults whatsoever, the wardens are very accommodating and hard working. Everything is clean and the grounds are very well maintained. The children enjoy safe playing with adequate grounds to play. The showers and toilet blocks are very clean and warm! Endless supplies of toilet rolls! Looking forward to return.

Returned to this site for 3 years running. Still the friendly approach from owner and wardens alike. Did not experience any of troutpout's comments and have to say that the park is the best we have stayed on-3 heated wc/shower block and heated flooring. 10 sinks for dishwashing-no queues even in the height of the season. Park and facilities kept brilliantly clean, no litter and no dog mess. Grass and strimming kept tidy and numerous picnic tables, which were great. The play area/swings was not noisy at night and the swings were locked up at 9pm Looking forward to our next visit already.

We have used this site for 4 years and would recommend it to any one wanting a great site. We have always found the camp site facilities and staff exceptional. We love returning here year after year and we are always remembered by the owner, great touch. The shower block is always spotless at any time of day. The potwash is too, everyone leaves it as they found it.

We have just come back from this site, and it was brilliant. Upon arrival the wardens were really friendly, and showed us to our pitch, and even offered to help us put up our tent if we got stuck. Facilities were cleaned everyday and well equipped. The play areas for the children were superb. As like the other reviews we would definitely recommend this site to anyone and will definitely be going back.

This is probably the most relaxing tourer park on Anglesea. The staff and both friendly and attentive to individual needs. The pitches are level and in a perfect condition with the grass mown prior to parking. The electric hook up poles have cold water taps attached making it easy to top up the external tank. The facilities are within easy reach from all pitches and are spotless.Overall this is the best tourer park we have visited on Anglesea to date and will be making our third visit this season within the next 4 weeks.
Highly recommended

Visited here for a week, directions are not as good as could be, we did go on a slight wild goose chase! worth it though, park - very big, spacious and clean. Play area very good for kiddies, 2 shower blocks although 1 does not have a temperature control and they do get very hot! Also take 10p's with you for the showers although the baths are free :)
Management very nice and welcoming, and very helpful. They did inform us that new changes are happening on the park soon with the addition of a play room for kids.
Benllech beach is lovely and you can take your dog on certain areas (be aware though as you can get stranded if you don't leave way before tide comes in!)
Very central to Anglesey's attractions and very close to Bangor also.
A beautiful site with very little that I could criticize, very good value for money and would definitely recommend.

2 weeks over August in the Welsh 2009 monsoon. Super site, dog & kid friendly, lots of space, good play areas, generally quiet (kids at play), clean & tidy site, 1 free showewr (busy) rest 10p, no laundry but there is a local service wash ~£7, no shop but its not far to the village, weekends busy. Well managed - wardens are very helpful & attentive. Beware of pitches 148 to 151 as they get rather boggy in heavy rain. Pegs go into the rich soil with a thumb! New office & games facility built looks great for 2010. We would love to come back in the sunshine.
